Well, I think the case is that MANY MANY more men, regular dudes, have breached consent with women than we typically think. From severe stuff to less severe, it's super prevalent in our culture, and it's a problem we all need to work together to solve as a culture. If, for you, the answer is not via feminism, how do you suggest we decrease sexual violence?

Or “hurt” would be a more accurate description. But I guess that’s what made me misread and get defensive.

I hear you. The post you linked is INCREDIBLY toxic behavior. Off the Richter scale. All of my experiences breaching consent with women didn’t involve an explicit or emphatic “no.” I securely thought I was one of the good guys. And I’ve talked to enough female friends to know that many so called good guys have breached consent. Every man has pushed too far at some point. Even tho it wasn’t a caricature like that RP guy. Good Men ought to examine their histories too.

I’m the author. The power imbalance between men and women that I’m referring to is the very real fear that many women experience when they consider rejecting a man’s sexual advances in a private space. We ar

I don’t understand how acknowledging the seriousness of consent breaches and power imbalances between men and women are BS.

What part of it made you feel like I’m pathetic?

The mod said they didn’t want sex/dating advice to start clogging the sub. I think how men contribute to rape culture is a pretty important conversation for male feminists to have, but here we are.

Why do you say that, friend?

Like what? I’m curious what your reasoning is. In the year since I’ve started learning about rape culture and all the shit women deal with, my dating life has totally tranformed for the better. For the first time in my life, I’ve been able to maintain great relationships with women I date after we stop hooking up. It’s incredible

Dude. What? Are you saying he should put pickup before his passions? I'm sorry, but you've got this all wrong.

About the effects you described about your mind working a little bit harder to form sentences and worse memory, would you mind saying how many times you took it before experiencing these subtle effects?

Every girl is an oppurtunity to practise. That way when you meet a girl you actually want to get to know better, you will have the skills to get her. "Luck is when preperation meets oppurtunity" -somebody

There are places that you can approach where the clientele will be more likely to have these types of "deep" conversations. I personally tend to identify with hipster culture, and the women around those places tend to be more open, thoughtful, and political.

Sounds like you need to go to street parties! Theyre perfect, because if there's music then its not the main attraction so it wont drown out conversation. I'm in Rio so theres street parties every night, but if you csn find any where you live then try going to tailgate. Same idea

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
