It's not a paradox when we were blaming someone for a rape that they indeed committed. They are no longer the victim in that situation, they are the victim in the previous one where they were abused. If we blamed them for being abused/raped when they were a child, THEN we are blaming the victim. It's never anyone's fault but the rapist. What the victim is wearing never makes it more or less okay. Of course the rapist doesn't care, of course they'll target women they consider to be good-looking or cheeky, but women shouldn't have to dress like a nun to avoid getting raped.
