The ending of your comment is golden, and I had to ask myself those questions to get over someone recently. I asked myself these questions before reading your post, but I know 100% that your advice works, from my own personal experience. A lot of people get attached to someone very early on (I was guilty of this), before really knowing them. So it's important to ask "What about this girl, specifically, am I missing?" A lot of the times, the answer will just be "her looks / her body / her physica…

I feel like she does, now it's about actually getting there as someone with low experience :P. I obviously initiate kisses just fine, as they turned into make outs. Now I need to go further. I need to use my hands properly and I should be fine :)

That makes me feel a lot better, aha. Also, I forgot to answer part of your previous reply: In terms of falling in love.. I can't actually tell if I have. My first relationship moved VERY slowly (as in no sex for 3 months, no kiss until the 5-6th date, no making out until date 8+, and dates were once a week). After a while, I noticed that the sex was boring and that we didn't have any chemistry, that's when I ended it. But for some reason, I'm already catching too many feelings for this girl tha…

I'm 22M, she's 23F. I have very low sexual experience, mainly because I've only been in one relationship, and the sex in that relationship was bad, because the girl was boring (as in just layed on her back in bed and didn't move or show affection). The girl (23F), has been in multiple long-term relationships (4 years being her longest), and she's definitely been in casual relationships lately, but wants something more serious now. I was just talking to her earlier today, and suggested that we do…

I really appreciate your long and detailed answer. I was just thinking about this today, and thought to myself: don't go into the third date with any expectations. I know she's into me, because while we were making out, she passionately said that she could definitely date me. There's two key reasons that I'm focusing a lot on this situation: 1) I'm legitimately interested in this girl, physically and intellectually. Although I'm currently texting more than 5 other girls every day, I'm a lot more…

Thanks for confirming. Hmm, but now that I think about it.. especially in the situation that I'm currently in with a girl (I've been on 2 dates w/ her so far), I'm a little confused/nervous about transitioning from making out to sex. The two times that I've went to kiss her (closed lips), she not only accepted the kiss very willingly, but she gives me her tongue and it turns into a long frenching/make out session. The problem is, I've been in a public place both times that this has happened. How…

Bowling's the shit! It's also a good date idea since it can encourage flirting by allowing for easy physical contact and bet(s). I.E If I get a strike, you owe me a kiss :)

Interesting question and one that I want to know the answer to as well. The woman that I'm currently dating (been on 2 dates with) had "I like going on adventures, but also like staying in and watching Netflix" on her profile. I think adventure means doing random spontaneous stuff like skydiving, bowling, swimming, hiking, rock climbing, etc. I think it's basically doing a bunch of random stuff during the day, rather than just doing one thing. I'd like someone else's opinion on this though.

I hope someone can reply to my comment to make me feel more confident about my answer... but from experience (which isn't that much to begin with), sex happens as an escalation from making out. You do NOT go from talking to f*cking, as fun as that sounds. Here's how it would typically happen: 1) You go out on a date with a girl 2) You slowly but surely initiate more and more physical contact (kino) 3) You kiss the girl (depending on how this is initiated, it might make her wet and horny) 4) You …

Impressive! How did you go about escalating to sex on the second date? Even in my situation (the story in this thread), I'm unsure of how I'm going to handle date 3, although we already made out at her door in date 2. Do I just start date 3 with a hug and slowly make physical contact like I did on date 2? Then what? I know that we're planning on at least seeing a movie for date 3 (at the theatres), because she wants to cuddle up to me (her exact words). I suggested that we take a walk before/aft…

Probably. I took his advice with a grain of salt. I do a lot of research.

Yeah, she's obv seeing others and so am I, so I guess I don't need to say anything just yet. After I sleep with her though, I'm telling her that I want to only date her.

Lol! I don't send vids/pics, but the rest of your statement seems accurate.

Actually, I already know that she "likes me", because as we were making out yesterday, she said "I could definitely keep dating you". I just don't know what to take from that.

I'll ask her near the end of the 3rd date, after we hopefully make out or more.

For shy girls especially, I think this is true. But.. considering this girl has a lot of dating/relationship experience, she might not like the fact that I seem "into her" so early on.

I'll try to let her know that I like her a lot, although I'm sure she already knows.

Well, here's the thing. I want to know if I'm sexually compatible with her before deciding to exclusively date her. Although we talked a bit about sex and past relationships on our second date yesterday, she agreed that sexual compatibility is important. I almost just want to tell her that I want to exclusively date, but I wouldn't actually want that until we have sex, since I really value sexual compatibility.

I was honest with her about this on my second date yesterday. I basically told her that the other people that I've met recently were very boring. Also, by telling her that I cancelled another date just to be able to see her yesterday, that should equal me telling her that I like her a lot.

It's essentially a physical escalation ladder. A lot of people follow this ladder (slowly, gradually increasing the amount of physical contact) to escalate things from just meeting a girl, to getting intimate. There's lots of resources on here, just do a quick search!

This. As long as you initiated some sort of physical contact before hand, and have any decent eye contact with her, you'll be giving her plenty of hints. I went out on a second date yesterday and not to brag, but I think I initiated an amazing first kiss, just by doing this: I was walking to my car with the girl, holding her hand. I told her to "hold on a moment" and stopped walking. I grabbed her by the waist and gently pulled her body towards mine. I turned my head slowly and went for the kiss…

In terms of your second statement, give me an example of how you'd say that it's none of their business, without sounding like an asshole to them?

Thanks for the explanation. I never really realized that just sacrificing time (especially since she knows that I only have 1 day off a week) to go on a date with her (also having initiated/asked for this second date) shows that I value her.

But what about letting her know how much I value her? As in.. how do I tell her that I'd much rather be with her than the other people that I went on dates with? It sounds clingy, but it's the truth.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
