I would suggest reading the book "Quiet: The Power of Introverts in a World That Can't Stop Talking" by Susan Cain, her TED Talk on it is here. I was a very extroverted kid but after being put in place over and over in school/public/church/ect I have become an ISTP personality type as an adult. There's this idea of an "extroverted idea" that our society really values. But after reading that book, I recognize that introvert/extrovert is a spectrum that you can adjust yourself on depending on the …

Headphones out and sunglasses off in public has been something I've been doing this past year. It's easy to block out the world but to engage it and others around you is what I've been learning to do more and more. Sunglasses off really helps in nonverbal communication with people you are just saying hello to. Eye contact is so essential.

This is great. I'd add to this to realize that your life is interesting. Even mundane things can be interesting with your unique perspective. Some of the best interactions I've had would have been so dull if you read the transcript. Also don't take the conversation too seriously.

This is fantastic bro. One thing I've been struggling with has been being patient and practicing. How best do you suggesting going about practicing some of the movements? Getting the basics of each section down slowly and putting it together? ~how much time a day would you suggest?

Just chill out and don't worry about it. It'll tense you up and you're weary to catch one-itis b4 Wednesday. I'm in a similar situation, I really dig this one girl at my Uni but there's plenty excellent of options all around us so things go well sweet, they don't, onto the next one.

I've been experimenting with eye contact battles recently with salespeople. I'll admit its been hard trying to maintain it because eye contact = potential customer (which I'm sure many of us have trained to avoid this type of eye contact if you live in a large city)...It's helping me practice though.

I like this. When I do the tunnel stare it feels dishonest. Tomorrow morning as I'm wandering around town I'll try to be more dynamic and grounded (no darty eyes).

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
