Wow, that is rough. I hate how women get so petty and because of their hatred towards the other parent, manipulate and turn the kids against them. I’ve heard and read it so many times. It’s sad. I haven’t gotten to that point yet with my ex; we’ve agreed to coparent but I’m not sure how long that good will is going to last. Keep your head up and continue doing what you’re doing. Hopefully when the kids get older, they’ll come around and realize that mom was the problem.

Damn, I’m sorry you went thru that. That’s a lot to give away.

Yep, “our money”… funny because I didn’t see a dime of the money she earned.

That is true; she had amazon boxes and other packages lined up by the front door on a daily basis.

Agreed that high earners should never marry and/or require a prenup. I asked for a prenup in the beginning and she rejected it. Was a 🚩🚩🚩then but I overlooked it.

When communications stop, my STBX stop telling me what was going on in her life. I had to basically interrogate her to find out anything and every talk essentially became an argument. She went on a girls trip and didn’t hear from her for 4 days; came back from her trip like nothing happened. Kids didn’t even know where she went other than she was going on a trip with her bff’s. I knew then it was time to start the divorce process.

I texted her and she left me on read.

Planning a trip to Costa Rica once my divorce is final. Hopefully around August timeframe. Also, would like to visit Peru/Machu Picchu sometime in October.

My STBXW says I’m a covert narcissist. I talked to my therapist about it and he says it’s complete bullshit.

Sorry brother that you’re going thru this. Keep your head up, work on yourself, hit the gym, make more money, and get into new relationship(s) whenever you’re ready for one. Try to open that line of communications with your kids and build it back. How old are your kids?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
