I see Buzzfeed, I assume it's utter bullshit.

Maybe I'm falling for the Left propaganda, but yet again maybe Trump got Russian help to win last election, used twitter bots, and Sinclair's broadcast propaganda machine (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fHfgU8oMSo). And this only to decrease corporate tax by a huge margin, lose the respect of Europe allies, put his family in government roles they're completely unqualified for, lie and abuse the presidency power like we haven't seen before. Stock market is a fraud, and WSB is doing something ef…

That's an interesting perspective. I'm not sure what you mean by "the increase in price only really mattered in cases of insurance coverage", and increasing a drug 50x in price does not seem justified even to raise money for more R&D, but I'll have to look more into this. I'm not sure what you mean by Elizabeth Holmes getting a slap on the wrist, she is most likely getting 20 years in prison.

That's a fair point. Deleting post.

That's true, but I just wish the world could move to a direction where MGTOW would be unnecessary rather than one where it's ubiquitous.

He made a good point. Kill your ego, listen to what he says, consider & discuss the argument, not where he comes from.

So what do you recommend instead of Democracy. A CCP dystopia?

There is a very fair debate about whether the Fed is good or not for the US. The most recent recession has shown how Fed can abuse its powers by once again bailing out the big corporations to avoid the shareholders from losing any money through stock dips, while leaving small businesses with peanuts and sky-high interest loans. That being said, "taxation is theft" is a very politically charged statement. Furthermore, saying that tax dollars haven't gone to build a single road/school/hospital, bu…

Then who is going to build the road outside your house and defend your country?

I understand your point of view about small businesses. That being said, most companies worth multiple millions should have ways of making up the cash needed, without harming their business (e.g. selling equity). Nobody likes taxation. We do need infrastructure and defense, so unfortunately it's a necessary evil (and yes, the government wastes a good bunch, but that's another story). I'd then think you'd agree that estate tax is one of the better ways of collecting taxes. It's better than losing…

This is rather misleading. The Fed has to keep an even balance sheet to keep monetary supply constant and avoid inflation (unlike what is happening right now with the bailouts, welcome inflation). The tax dollars cover, directly or indirectly, all government expenses. PLEASE DON'T LET THIS SUB BE USED FOR POLITICAL INDOCTRINATION. This subreddit is NOT about pushing for political agendas.

THE ESTATE TAX IS NECESSARY! It's one of the few ways of stopping (or slowing down) dynasties of rich people forming. Billionaires like the Koch brothers have been spending 10s to 100s of millions lobbying to reduce the estate tax (unfortunately rather successfully) to reduce or eliminate the tax. Note that it almost entirely affects people who inherit more than 10 million$. A parent can use their money before they die to affect the world in ways they see fit, but allowing this wealth to accumul…

You're calling it "Trump stimulus". Sounds like the petty political adding his name on the check worked.

Please don't buy from Volkswagen, and especially a Jetta. Volkswagen was caught in a huge scandal a few years ago, with hundreds of thousands of cars that emitted as much as 40 times the legal limit of Nitrates and other pollutants. They did this by manipulating the car software so that the car works differently under testing circumstances than otherwise. By helping Volkswagen grow after this, we are telling them this is OK. Boycott the fuckers till their company burns to the ground.
