Yes, water is wet. Men get attracted by a little skin showing and have no sense of aesthetics and beauty. Women, on the other hand, learn that from an early age, hence the prevalent lookism. I can't count times I heard girls critise someone's looks male or female. If women go to extremes to look good, why wouldn't they hold guys to the same standards.

Good-looking guys are like expensive cars. Everyone has a preference regarding brand and model, but they are universally liked. The average guy is like your usual sedan, basic car. There is some interest in them, but they are not a first choice, and most people will settle for these because they can't afford anything better. Ugly guys are like old rusted shit cars. Universally disliked, and you need to luck out or hit the very niche audience.
