1	I think I've made a mistake involving commitment/the "talk". I'm not sure what to do. That is absolutely not what I meant. She is disingenuous for not being honest about what she actually needs in a relationship to be content. Sorry, I didn't grasp that distinction originally. You aren't supposed to have "the commitment talk" because that is nagging and being overly assertive. And yet when he hurts you, it's somehow YOUR fault for not standing up for yourself. Makes no sense. You are not being disingenuous for being hurt. You should not feel stupid. He was introducing you as his girlfriend and any normal person would take that as a sign of exclusivity.
