He is aware of everything and I’m not cheating. We agreed to see how it goes at this point.

Can you elaborate on why it won’t work how I think it will ? Not being sassy just genuinely need a sanity check.

I left him because of hypergamy I think ? He lived in his moms house and wasn’t working much, and I was working a lot and hating my job... I just wanted a life already and wasn’t seeing it with this guy. But now he’s like doing normally for a man of his age I think. I don’t think I have enough life experience or wisdom to know what is best for me and my child.

Oh I also joined this local mom group and we’ve met on zoom once, so I’m hoping that goes somewhere.

I could probably reach out to them more via phone. I do have family here and they are supportive but all in their 60s. Also a cousin in California who is my age who I talk to. My husband doesn’t have any family really other than his two kids who are older than me, which sucks because I could really use a mother in law rn.

None of my friends are married or have kids. Yea it’s pretty rough and I do need more social support. I feel like it’s really dwindled during covid because my usual avenues aren’t available, church and volunteering.

Lol I definitely don’t think the dating prospects would be better now and would not put myself back out there. But also won’t they be worse when I’m 40?

I wouldn’t cheat , and my husband knows about our relationship and also my concerns. It’s really a decision between leaving and staying. Every day I foresee and mentally prepare for his death and worry about what I’m going to do. I just don’t have a will to live anymore but for my daughter. Which I guess is fine since no one else cares. The only thing I know is being with someone my age might give me the chance of not being a widow in my 40s, that’s about it.

Men dehumanizing/abusing women and children bad, women killing children in most vulnerable position good and empowered

It’ll all blow over and people won’t bow down to this. Cis people won’t stop living their lives as they want to or acknowledging gender , but this group of people may continue to talk about it in gender studies class or the internet or whatever and that’s fine.

Lol probably just pushed by women who couldn’t have a husband and children. I’m definitely happier at home with my kids and husband than out there in this mad world struggling to be a mini man. Feminists can go work their asses off and never reproduce , I don’t care literally at all , but if they want to interfere with my life and police my thoughts we have a problem.

I’m a woman and I’m ordering “the future is male” shirts just to be annoying , because realistically none of this stuff means anything anyways

We met on seeking arrangements about 3 years ago. It was a platonic arrangement that I actually took to the next level. Then it turned into a relationship. We have a lot in common in a daily and practical sense but the passion is non existent.

I am 25 and just married my 64 year old husband. A while before I was torn between him and my 24 year old neighbour. I ended up choosing him because mentally we are more compatible and his finances are in order and I can’t work. Maybe if the romance was off the charts with the 24 year old I would have chosen him but I am an only child and my parents had me in their 40s so I’m not really used to youth and don’t find unpredictability very exciting.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
