Does it still differ for males and females? https://www.thebalancecareers.com/u-s-army-physical-fitness-requirements-4055631

The physical fitness tests aren’t what elite front line units use as a standard. Who gives a fuck for the purposes of jobs like finance, IT jobs, fixing aircraft, etc?

Libtard here. Was and am for allowing women on the front lines in the US military. I only remember conservatives arguing against that.

Think you might be misremembering the military one. There was a straight up ban on women on the front lines. https://www.history.com/news/u-s-military-lifts-ban-on-women-in-combat I don’t agree with lowering standards but banning them from certain positions is the definition of sexism.

Words have meaning. This is a variant of "I was just playing hard to get. Why didn't he continue to pursue me when I told him no?!".

I'd be willing to bet a not small amount of money that the people advocating that orchestras more accurately represent the populous (I'll just come out and say, the blind auditions are easily the best way to ensure equality of opportunity as it pertains to the orchestra) are the same people who would advocate for equal opportunity in schools etc to lift the people in lower socioeconomic levels.

Lol I shouldn’t be surprised a regular in this sub would defend such a piece of shit. You can stop lying for him because we can look up the video and find that he mentions Vietnam first. The quote can be read here. No offense, but I am not going to take someone with such a clear hatred of Trump as a reliable source. What part of my comment about what a shithead I think Trump is needs a source? You don’t believe me or what? Go fuck yourself. How’s that for prude?

Yeah he participated in baseball, tennis, and squash in college. Then got a medical exam that claimed he had bone spurs which put him at the bottom of any potential draft list. He remembers it a bit differently (what's fucking new) though. "If I would have gotten a low number, I would have been drafted. I would have proudly served," he said. "But I got a number, I think it was 356. That’s right at the very end. And they didn't get -- I don’t believe -- past even 300, so I was -- I was not chosen…

This example of bone spurs was enough to get a person out of the draft but not enough to keep him from sports. Hence the quotations.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
