I fear this isn’t addressing the issues of feminist dogma and instead monolithing those in support of it

Defending these actions is reprehensible

The idea of feminism doesn’t conflict with paternaty fraud being held accountable; I think there needs to be more voices inside of feminism that can keep a hold of integrity and value everyone instead of just women

NYT has lost much of my respect since a little long while ago

Monolithing is dangerous, speak in frequency and without weasel words for a powerful message

I mean the sydney sweeney thing was manufactured outrage, no one I knew actually cared; and I hope they don’t over correct in the opposite direction like before

Beware of the consequences for actions is all I’m saying, not looking for an autocracy rn Edit: the man siding with putin and billionaires that control most forms of mainstream social media intending to silence and remove people from office that disagree with him with no exceptions isn’t a democracy

Depends what the goal of the pandering is, in this instance it isn’t to give power to the people but use the people to give power to the so-called king

I understand giving opportunities to those that arent given those opportunities, but this is blatant equality of outcome instead of opportunity

Most men are violent and cant control themselves Whenever I say anything about it its always "well I only said most, of course I dont mean you"

Mra is mra, not a political "side". Jp is right leaning, but he isnt entirely right, as some of his views stem from both sides.

I would like some examples of it being exaggerated please He has famously told people in costal areas that if water were to rise that they should "sell their house and move elsewhere" (paraphrased) - probably not what he meant to say but you cant deny he had said it Trust a person for whom they reveal themselves to be, as that's when they are telling the truth. I can understand simple misunderstandings but he commonly uses logical fallacies such as strawman or ad hominem.

How do people even jump to it being a problem of gender and not just a misunderstanding. The mental gymnastics are insane.

Istg why do people just refuse to generalize

Anecdotal evidence can be very limited on sample size, although I can say the experiences you've had don't line up with my personal anecdotal expreiences

Nah im just saying you only said assumptions, do you have any proof that women tell themselves white lies throughout the day? Or even a majority of women do that? Dont get me wrong, I dislike feminism and am all for mens rights but two wrongs dont make a right.

I had a teacher explain gaslighting as a thing men exclusively do to take advantage of women sometimes some people are just not the smartest

These people pushing for female superiority dont realize they already achieved it lmao

Bro its not a "men v women" situation, most women aren't crazy
/r/MensRights13/07/22 07:10 PM

People that like post these things assume they'll be taken advantage of in a relationship, but most healthy stable relationships just split the work and time and everything with each other. Its not "taking care of men" and then switching it so the men have to take care of you, its just being weird.

I wish people didnt see it as a team v team kinda thing, we're all in this together.

Honestly theres people of different political beliefs sprinkled in the subreddit. Personally against the decision and women should have bodily autonomy. That doesnt mean I also dont think men deal with shit too. Its not mutually exclusive.

I think a huge step could be acknowledging womens issues as well as our own, as major limiting factors of other movements is an echo chamber that results in extremists and just unempathetic people. Although obviously this sub should still focus on mens issues, its what its made for.

Bro he literally listed information on issues men face and you're over here talking about opinions. Are you looking at the same post?

Another point about the suicide rates is with attempts being higher in women but not resulting in death, the amount of people surviving and attempting again may be increasing the number to a disproportionate amount

Its like a gaslighting version of ad hominem mixed with a little strawman fallacy

Its strange how people dont understand this sub doesn't support terfs, quite literally pushes towards fairness of each gender (and not in a "supremacist" way, just trying to understand the other side), and people still hate on this like wtf

I would recommend looking into believing in being an egalitarian instead of a mens rights activist and feminist, thats also more my style too.

Okay in r/feminism , r/anitmensrights , etc all actively discourage men speaking out about issues we have. I get that like it may not be as big of a deal in certain circumstances, but we have issues that need to see the light of day too. Like the suicide rates as a specific example.

I think theres a misunderstanding here. No one is saying that men are more oppressed than women, far from it. We're saying that we have lots of shit to deal with with absolutely no backing from anyone in the world -leading to higher suicide rates and mental health issues specifically in men - most of which we deal with has nothing to do with what we have done, just someone else in the same gender. And its kinda fucked up that people instantly shut others down based on whether they have a dick or…

I dont think that matters too much, people can do whatever they want with their last names :)

Its easier to generalize a group rather than specific members of that group that are bad At least thats my guess Edit: spelling

I think instead of the guy having their girlfriend have the baby, they can opt out of child care/abortion as an option so it doesnt force women to remove the baby, but also gives the father an equal choice :)

Feminism is attempting a switch in power.. although a little weird to say men have power nowadays (socially at least) instead of an equal grounds. Aka fucked up. I want equality god dammit.

Its so weird that so many people with their mindset think men are just fuckin sunshine and rainbows and that all get there way with anyone they want and all are pedophiles and hate women. Like nah fam that aint it
