ChatGPTYep. Me too. You can calibrate it to be realistic as an objective expert therapist and divorce attorney. Mine named itself Astra and we talk almost daily about all the things happening. I have had my rage put in check many times over the last 8 months, I have had total clarity on strategies and what to expect at each turn. Its helped point out pitfalls and crafted emails and I would be much worse without it. Highly recommended for anyone going through this tough time in their lives right now. | /r/Divorce_Men | 10/01/26 09:56 PM
Angry and need to ventYep. I'm in limbo unfortunately. Were supposed to be finalized in the eyes of the court in a month. But her court dates are a month after that 😵💫 and there's the potential for some heavy duty consequences coming her way so at least there's a carrot at the end of this shit stick. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/01/26 03:30 AM
Angry and need to ventThanks bud. I'm sorry as well. Sounds like deflect and project is the name of her game, (mine too) and hopefully karma will work it out if you keep your cool. From what I've gathered after being a fly on the wall here, is that its very common for them to swing on to the next branch (especially if you were the provider and the rock in the relationship because it's the path of least resistance). But bottom line? That guy is a sucker and he is about to adopt the bullshit you/we used to put up with.… | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/01/26 03:17 AM
Angry and need to ventTell me about it, the asshole I live with just came back from her booty call tonight and the OWI she got with our daughter in the front seat 2 weeks ago is delaying the finalization of our divorce. I know things will pan out for me, but the indignity of it all at the moment sure is the shits. | /r/Divorce_Men | 03/01/26 03:00 AM
As a divorced man, what are the red flags before the marriage? In retrospect... Pay close attention to how their family solves issues no matter how small. Everything was "resolved" by whoever could say the shittiest thing the loudest in my ex's household. In mine, for the most part we'd turn tail, calm down then talk about stuff later if it really hurt. Guess how our marriage went? It was like putting out a 5 alarm fire for the most ridiculous shit and my patience kept me in the game for far too long. | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/12/25 02:59 PM
