Oh, it’s not? This actually was the case with many factories historically. Women could be hired for less than men and factory jobs didn't require strength, just someone to operate the machinery, so many factories were largely staffed by women. Actually, I imagine that this is still the case in a lot of countries, where many manufacturing industries are dominated by women. I remember being taught this multiple times throughout all my school years, but I guess most people don't remember history class. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 10/04/20 04:29 AM
Has shitposting gone too far?Yeah, figures that the optimal office temperature in Finland could be lower than the optimal temperature in New York. Possibly dependent on season as well? If it's a question of finances, there's no point in cooling down to 70F during the summer, at least if people are used to warmer temperatures. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 25/06/18 02:45 PM

85 Percent Of Female Marine Recruits Flunking Out Of New Combat TestsI'm sure that I can do 10 pull-ups easily, but I still can't do 42 push-ups without stopping. Different muscles. I'm sure that I'd be able to get 42 if I worked at it for a few weeks, but high rep push-ups aren't going to happen without specifically working at it. I'd say that anything over 25 reps or so is "high rep" for people who work in ordinary gym rep ranges. | /r/PussyPassDenied | 26/06/16 02:34 PM
3 Simple Explanations for Why You're Still Single - Another great post by Mark MansonOne thing is that you shouldn't hang everything on that. What if you get in shape and your self esteem is still about the same? I work out regularly, put up heavy weight, weigh exactly what I want to weigh, and have visible abs, but I still struggle with self-esteem. Pegging fitness with self esteem will be a lesson in disappointment if you only get one or the other--they are independent things. | /r/seduction | 14/02/14 09:00 AM
What's the difference between a shit test and a girl straight up not into you?Agree. This is the perfect invitation to challenge her with something like, "well, it takes the right pair of eyes. let's give it a shot." Suddenly, you're gazing deeply into each other's eyes for at least a few moments. I guess if it gets awkward somehow (I feel like it normally shouldn't) you could also declare a staring contest. | /r/seduction | 30/08/13 08:46 AM
Is commenting on the (good) looks of another man a common shit test?I was thinking more along the lines of a joke like "we just met and you're trying to pawn me off on another girl?" or "we can't date if you're going to be checking out girls all the time. If you turn out to be a lesbian I'm going to have to end this relationship" (would only say this to someone I'm not dating). Perhaps something more lighthearted and less defensive? | /r/seduction | 05/07/13 08:48 AM
On Why You Should Never Take Dating Advice from WomenNah, if something requires a whole bunch of explanation behind it so it won't be misinterpreted, then it's not really good advice. When people say "be yourself" I think they actually mean "develop confidence in what you like and what you do or would like to do." So might as well just say that instead of saying something that will be misinterpreted by most people. "Be yourself" implies that you're fine sticking to your comfort zone, which is crap advice. | /r/seduction | 14/03/13 04:23 PM
On Why You Should Never Take Dating Advice from WomenI think you might be a little off base here, but the conclusion is the same. Women (or people in general) want to be with people who lead them to fun and exciting experiences (conversations count) first, and then the other stuff comes after that. It seems that whenever you ask an attractive woman what she's looking for in a man, she'll name a bunch of traits that a lot of her male friends have, but for some reason they're all in the friendzone to her. Then you'll notice that she dates people tha… | /r/seduction | 14/03/13 04:14 PM
Please help! I am in a small HS and I need social advice.Do some kind of extracurricular activity or wait till college or whatever's next for you. Actually, try to do some activity at school too if there are any. Just try to make friends, work on your social skills, and have fun. You're still young and in a small community it seems, so just try to enjoy yourself and do things that you like or might like. Social skills are called so because they're something you need to practice to get better, so just get yourself into social situations and don't quit … | /r/seduction | 14/03/13 03:30 PM
Some guy used that "phone trick" on my girlfriend and failed horribly a few days ago.I've never tried this, but maybe you could do that after? I mean, I wouldn't want the phone number of someone I haven't met either, but I don't really see a problem with doing things out of order. | /r/seduction | 27/02/13 10:24 PM
Some guy used that "phone trick" on my girlfriend and failed horribly a few days ago.I wouldn't say good, but if one has a goal and accomplishes it, it's hard to argue with the methods if the goal is all one cares about. I wouldn't ever do the slapping thing, but the phone thing sounds kind of fun. I mean, I wouldn't base my life on it, but it could make for an interesting afternoon/evening. I don't think I would even want the phone numbers of people who actually would give them. | /r/seduction | 27/02/13 10:19 PM

I've spent about a year in the Pick-Up Community and with Self-Improvement all the while keeping a journal of everything along the way. I'm thinking about publishing it as a free E-book and PDF on Amazon, and was wondering if this something you might actually readI don't want to be a downer or anything, but most people are not good at writing. Also, a year is not a lot of time to learn something well. It's most certainly possible that you are a competent and entertaining writer and have a good deal of insight to share, but you don't have much of a comment history so it's not possible to tell. Therefore, how can we tell you if we'd be interested if we can't read some? I feel like I might be interested, but how could I know? I suggest putting some excerpts… | /r/seduction | 17/01/13 04:58 AM
Reading the "what hints flew over your head" thread got me thinking... Escalating has NEVER lead to a negative consequenceAs far as I know, calibration is being sensitive to cues and knowing what's socially acceptable/desirable, and escalation is moving in a sexual direction. So calibration helps you to know how hard and fast to escalate. | /r/seduction | 20/12/12 02:13 AM
So, there's lots of stuff on how to pick up girls, but what about some tips for a girl who wants to pick up guys?I guess what we can take from this is that different men will have different preferences. Dressing up will attract more men in general, but it's not guaranteed bonus points with a specific man. | /r/seduction | 05/12/12 06:44 PM
I've come to a realization about the "nice guy syndrome"To be fair, if everyone knew what the current desirable aspects were, then the real ones would be something else. Well, maybe to a certain extent at least. | /r/seduction | 03/12/12 06:42 PM

How long should I wait to ask a girl out after a flake? Should I avoid texting her for a while?I'm a complete newb, so can you guys help evaluate what my natural response to this situation would be? I would probably text her that I'd be hanging out at whatever place next weekend, and that she's welcome to join me or meet me. Then I would just drop all communication unless (until?) she reciprocates. | /r/seduction | 14/11/12 01:44 AM
First date today, forgot her name, what's my best plan of action?I see this advice on reddit all the time, but I can't help but think that anyone with half a brain would see right through this. I used this trick on a guy once on a whim, and he gave me a look that I interpreted as, "you're really gonna try that?". That cemented in my mind that this is one of the dumbest techniques that is offered in askreddit and the like all the time. | /r/seduction | 05/11/12 05:18 PM
