Totally fair. Just delicate bringing it up. I’ve dated a lot and I can’t think of a time it was an explicit conversation

I’ve never had a man I dated ask my body count. I guess the closest was a guy asking if I met people on dating apps often. I said not really but I’ve been on a few dates. Maybe I just don’t give off those vibes but it’s never seemed to be a problem but I guess I wouldn’t know

I just don’t agree. But could be a lot of things our age, values, upbringing, culture exc I don’t think you’ll ever find the perfect person, youll find amazing people and do the best you can I can tell your passionate about fitness and that kinda clouding the point I’m trying to make to you

You’re missing that you already connect on virtually every other level. People are worth investing in You’re exactly right and that’s my point-it’s not so much that you’re forced to change or that it’s a project- but that both parties see the value in working together toward the shared goal of both being happy and healthy (and yea more attractive)

Fair enough, I guess i just enjoy having a partner that is supportive and wants me to be healthier and more confident but he also balances saying he loves me as I am. We both know it’s also for looks but it’s kind of just don’t ask don’t tell.

I enjoy it. He never made it about my looks (tho we both implicitly know it is) only about beating healthy and confident He does accept me as is but still wants me to be my best

Yeah I’ve heard of that rhetoric before never heard of it actually happening though , on another comment I put that I think you gotta really love the person and do this stuff to make eachother better and happier, if it’s selfish minded this is what’s gonna happen there has to be a level of respect and genuinely just wanting to be happy and healthier beyond just looks

Kind of a win win as far as I see it. I love my boyfriend I am overweight but have lost almost 20lbs since we started dating. He’s a gym rat. I love him a lot. He inspires me and supports me in a “I want you to be healthy and confident” way and I want to be healthy and confident and make him happy. I’m also not naive and know that losing weight is something that would make me more attractive to him. It’s a slow process and I think you geniunely have to love the person for it to work but…if you’r…

Here’s a hack: get a slightly overweight women with a cute face and introduce her to working out and help her lose weight Then she still has a humble insecure personality, now she’s super hot, and she feels indebted to you

You’re overthinking it- there’s something to be said for just having your preference in your head and not making it a big thing….odds are no one cares anyway

I believe a lot of red pill ideas apply to people in general male or female and no matter what sex you date. People freak out over MGTOW and looksmaxing but that’s just good advice for anyone. Focus on yourself and do everything you can to improve to find the best partner or focus on yourself and go your own path. I consider myself a feminist in that women should just choose what they want to do. Some want to be mothers some want a career doesn’t real concern me cause it’s not me. This was a lon…

You can’t really can underestimate a great emotional connection I think for everyone but especially for women. Honestly an attractive man flirting with you always makes you feel good. But he wasn’t there when I was in a rough place, when I needed him, when it wasn’t all sexy and fun. My boyfriend was. That means more to me and is more high value than looks or status 100%. People get attached, I don’t think many people would leave there partner for looks or money alone given there’s no crazy flaw…

What’s a random thing that scared you as a child? Mine was the story of Daniel and the lions den. We watched the episode of veggie tales on it in Bible school and I was so disturbed. I’ve always been pretty scared of animals

Idk man there’s some medium there. Why does everyone on ppd speak in extremes. The fact that woman want to settle as they get older and run out of options and what they find attractive and what they value changes can both be true.
