You clearly don't know the law then because you can't sign away child support because it is not yours to sign away. Read the agreement he acknowledge's paternity in it.

I agree the law is wrong but the judges job is not to change the law but enforce it. Like I said in another post this guy acknowledged paternity in the signed agreement that said that she couldn't sue for child support. But she can't legally waive that right so it makes the contract not only invalid but actually hurt him. Honestly I am even more angry with this case because I agree (on a purely legal basis) with the judge.

Not only are they going to get support but they are entitled to inheritance unless he writes them out of the will.

It's a reasonable judgment based on the law honestly. If a child is born in wedlock it is presumed to be the child of the married couple. Don't blame the judge, blame the legislature for being decades behind in legislating for parentage in IVF. For fucks sake the first American IVF child was born nearly 30 years ago and grew up and lives in Massachusetts .

You are correct in that she cannot sign away child support rights (as that is the right of the child not the mother) she can acknowledge non-paternity of the child to Mr. Okoli Which I believe that signed agreement does. I would really love to read what it says. EDIT: read the actual note he fucked up acknowledged paternity. Maury he is the father.

Ok so the judge decided the case based on the fact that Mr. Okoli being married to Mrs. Okoli and giving permission for her to go through IVF and has established legal paternity under CHAPTER 209C Section 6. EDIT: Found the decision here reading the document the husband done fucked up and I completely agree with the judge's decision. "That [the husband] hereby gives his consent for [the wife's] fertility treatment[,][e]mbryo freezing and disposition of eggs, sperm and embryo[.] "That [the husban…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
