Nah man. I'm telling you. Some women would be fine with it, but I guarantee you that somebody would come along and claim that men-only gyms were sexist and exclusionary, and a suit would be filed and the whole thing would be scrapped.

How about the fact that cities like Chicago have exempted feminine care products (eg- tampons and pads) from sales tax. But men have to pay the sales tax on "masculine care" products.

It's not only discriminatory and bigoted, it's also hypocritical. If you were, for example, to have unisex gyms, I can guarantee you that some women's group would complain about the existence of a "men's only" gym and would file a federal civil rights lawsuit. Women often complain about men making them feel uncomfortable during workouts. But they would also complain about women's only/men's only gyms designed to eliminate this problem.

The law firm where I just did a paralegal internship had 15 full-time employees — ALL women. They did have a managing attorney who was male, but he was part-time and about to retire when my Internship was ending. Apparently they didn’t even like men as temporary employees. When I first started, my supervisor said to me “I can’t even remember the last time we had a male intern”. Mind you, this internship was unpaid.
