Computer games might be a good substitute, something like red dead redemption 2 allowing you to experience most of America in the 1800s. Or assassin's screed odyssey allowing you to experience 400 BC greece + islands. Sure it tends to be more scaled down, but it gets the important locations down and the feel of them too for the most part I think. And if the games are too hard you can always just use cheats, at least if you're on PC (not sure about consoles). You can even try going VR for the abo…

No, he had the root canals first, they were fine, but at some point he got into health and nutrition and found out root canals aren't meant to be good for you, so he got rid of them to avoid future problems is what he says. He hasn't done any implants and says probably won't.

Well, to be fair, he mostly listens to foreign (asian?) ASMR videos with 2D background girls, but he doesn't watch them, just listens, he doesn't know any asian language so he doesn't even know what they're saying.

It takes a decent amount of work to get thing setup to make the videos though, I looked into it and apparently he only likes the ones where they use the expensive microphone, and there's probably audio tweaking going on in the background too.

I'm not sure if it is sexual in nature for him, I guess I can ask but I doubt he would say "yes". It affects the relationship in that I get that "cheating" feeling, but other than that it's fine.

He says he's saved up about £100,000 for surrogacy, and he also has a job that pays him £70,000. I also have a job, but it pays about £20,000. I talked to him a bit about it; he says for example he'll tell me what to feed him, he'll be educating the child in certain ways, e.g. setting certain challenges if it's a boy etc... So I don't think it's anything too insane...
