To be fair, I read this news article. This tweet is kind of misleading. The woman WAS raped, and brutally beaten. She had a dream and saw this man's face in it (they were neighbors) so she thought it was him. The dna evidence that could have exonerated him was destroyed by police against a judges orders. Very shitty situation.

Just trying to explain what happened because there's people in here wishing death on this chick. I feel like people should be more angry with police who destroyed evidence against a judges orders that could have proven this man's innocence. Personal opinion though.

She WAS brutally raped and beaten. She identified the wrong man because she saw his face in a dream. Meanwhile, the actual rapist confessed, but the judge did not believe his confession. The dna evidence that could have exonerated him was destroyed by police. This was just a travesty on so many levels. This man was wronged, and his life was destroyed by the cumilative efforts of many people put together, but not all of them acted out of malice.
