It's wonderful how they attached POC and LGBT persons to the 77 cents per dollar stat myth which originally had only applied to women.

This is reading comprehension. Try reading it again. she remained conscious Incapacitated is subjective and the passage doesn't say that she was unconscious. You're interpreting the example that he had to take off her clothes because she couldn't do it. One could say that the man in this situation was incapacitated as well.

What was that one Emma Watson project where men were called upon to be feminists? Yeah, I think I'll pass. Who reads shit like this? It's basically nothing but an emotional "Ugh, yeah right! Women are so much better because I said so". I doubt there will be many "I need feminism because..." posters linking this blog. We can only hope.

It's just to create the illusion that they care enough to do something about it. It's so irritating that it has become fashionable to pander to pro feminist supporters as a PR tactic, be it the President of the US giving a speech and saying how he feels the 1 in 5 stat is unacceptable or now given this example, making fraternities include women because 'we care'. It's ridiculous. I also hate how that 1 in 5 statistic is based on some bullshit study and isn't just focused on rape. It was a small …

Tell me more, professor! Are all women Nazis? Gee, do you think I could one day be as intelligent and have as big of a victim complex as you do?! I would normally now tell you to get off of your high horse and go get a life, but I'll let you figure that out on your own. Asshole.

Well, I applaud you for your awareness of groupthink and certain bias'. They can take hold and drive anyone to think irrationally. I'm similar in that I support the MRM and tend to be anti-feminist. I think that it's important to consider these biases on all sides. If we say that the feminist movement is clearly victim of groupthink and other psychological tendencies, but claim that our 'group' is impervious to them, then that makes us sound disingenuous and full of shit.

Your comments are only making my point stronger. There you just made the analogy of them (feminists) being along the same lines of Nazis and their victims, (MRAs, I guess?) the victims of the holocaust. Yes, DavidByron2, I'm sure that you're a victim of the feminist movement. Years from now the history books will read how awful life was in the concentration camps where MRAs were held.....what the fuck are you talking about??? There's certainly no bias there. But, maybe you were embellishing to p…

I may have done a poor job at explaining my thoughts. I meant to bring attention to animosity towards people who identify as feminists for intangible correlations drawn to the feminist movement. I admit to somewhat disrespecting a person who identifies strongly as a feminist because I see them as sharing the views of the few within that group such as Anita Sarkeesian, whom I referenced in my post. The difference there is that I don't disrespect women because they were born women, I disrespect so…

It is, however I wouldn't consider other non-hate groups to be impervious to such basic behavior. For example, anyone subscribed to this subreddit, myself included, is more likely to consider feminists to be bad and MRAs to be good because they to some degree identify as an MRA and disagree with most of the feminist movement and their talking points. Same with the reverse. A subreddit for feminists would likely think negatively about their perceived opponents' opinions.

The whole basis for this 'article', on how the artificial heart tech was sexist is profoundly dumb to begin with and also, not even an issue anymore. It clearly states that a smaller version was approved by the FDA in 2013. 'Problem' solved. But no, she had to complain about the near decade that women were purposefully excluded and denied this technology? What? And seriously, quoting the Danish woman who complained about her phone being too big for her hands to take good one-handed pictures didn…

What bothered me the most was the final 'requirement' for a man to be a man, "Reads this without feeling offended". Doing the same for a post about 'how females should act to be considered a woman', would be met with the worst kind of hostile criticism. It's a perfect example of one of the many double standards that we see so often on this subreddit. For example, if someone posted a image stating all of the stereotypes in the book on how women should act. "Women should be submissive - should cle…

Incredible. Also, in the article it says that she provided the kid with drugs and alcohol. Even more reason to not let her go free.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
