You touched on an important point that just can't be reiterated enough. When you sign a marriage contract, you have no idea what its terms really are. They can be altered and modified at any future date by the legislators and the courts. You literally have no idea what you are signing yourself into. Like feminism, you can't go by the dictionary definition of egalitarianism. Egalitarians do favor affirmative action and/or quotas in order to achieve the 'equal world' they dream of. What you're describing is meritocracy, rather than egalitarianism.

Exactly. I think a big part of a healthy relationship comes down to whether she respects you or not. Therefore, you have to be a man worthy of respect and choose a woman who knows a man worthy of respect when she sees one. If one or both of these are absent from your relationship, you can only blame yourself.

I think the idea behind MGTOW is that men need to stop obsessing about women and basing their ideas of self-worth around their approval. You don't need a woman to be happy and your worth is not measured by female attraction to you. Once you get these simple points, you realize what you have to do : Concentrate on yourself. Become the best man you can become, not to please a woman, but to please yourself. Work on improving yourself and achieving your goals.

I suppose I wasn't clear enough but my post wasn't concerned with how homosexuality fits in evolutionary theory. I have considered that explanation but I don't think we are suffering from overpopulation. We live in a period of abundance like humanity has never experienced before and we're nowhere near covering the whole surface of the planet. Demographic growth is slowing down in all countries, but it has more to do with a wider use of birth control than homosexuality.
