Another thing that's annoying is that people are shamed for not liking someone because of their looks, even if they have a good personality. A good personality is important, in fact I don't think it's a stretch to say it's more important than looks, but taking physical attraction into consideration doesn't make you a jerk.

While I'm happy she got her comeuppance, I feel like this isn't really r/pussypassdenied material. Sure, it's a girl who aggravated a man, but if could have just as well be the other way round, or a man aggravating a man, or a woman aggravating a woman. Basically it's better if the topic of "I'm a girl you can't hit me" or something similar comes up. That's just my personal opinion.

I guess that's right, but digging through someone's fb posts just to involve someone else into the argument wasn't a very good response to that. It's also not always the parent's fault, a lot of the time kids learn these things from friends, and parents don't know about it. Just to make it clear, I'm not defending the girl, I just think that what the brother did wasn't right.

Tbh, both sides kinda suck here. Like obviously the girl was wrong to post it on IG and should definitely not have done that, and she definitely deserved a punishment, but the mother didn't do anything at all and retaliating in that way was wrong.
