You can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped. Sometimes people will rant about stuff publicly just so others can give them some sort of attention. And if you're having doubts about the friendship anyways, I don't think that's a situation you should involve yourself in.

Black men expect black women to subscribe to 'struggle love.' They're now angry that this generation refuses to be used and abused.

I know it may be unpopular, but as a black woman, I stopped dating non pocs. Most of them would resort to racism when they felt threatened or didn't get their way. And also, just because someone isn't a racist doesn't mean you won't have to deal with his family that is or the microagressions from their friends and family. No relationship is worth my mental/emotional health.

Yes! And don't be afraid to threaten to sue. That tone changes real quick.

Its how I found you! Someone mentioned it in a "toxic sub" ask reddit post. When I asked HOW it was toxic and what exactly was bad, or links to posts no one could answer me🥰

I have a similar 'game'. If men try to engage in small talk when I'm clearly busy or I'm quietly minding my business, I just look up at them, no particular expression, and stare. Just look at them like 😐. Not giving them the satisfaction of getting a reaction or an ego boost. They shut up very quickly.

Had a guy throw a tantrum because my mom was his nurse, so he called to the head nurse who was also a black woman. So he called for the doctor....another black woman. So he called for management.... you see where this is going. Men are just despicable. Imagine being so childish that you throw a tantrum because women are doing their jobs???

I know a lot of men who don't even wash their faces because it's "too feminine." I've seen too many relationships where the man looks like he's ready to disintegrate into dust and the woman looks beautiful, well groomed and CLEAN.

Block! Block! Block! You don't owe anyone your time. To me this is a sign of controlling behavior.

This!! I get shit on by people (mostly 'friends') for doing this. I always hear "why do you have to be so cold? You're so harsh! It's not fair to them" etc. Why should I have to give up my comfort and well being just to coddle someone's feelings? Funny how no one ever has an answer to that🙃

I used to worry that I was being too harsh, but not anymore!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
