I love picnics so as long as there was obviously a lot of effort put in I’m happy. I would like a more expensive date on our next date though.

Women care more about men being funny. Men care more about women thinking they are funny.

I want a husband who protects and provides for our family. I enjoy cooking, cleaning, and I love children. I would rather serve my family than a boss. Being a sahm can give me time to focus on the things that are important to me as well as some productive or fun hobbies. I think more traditional gender roles keep men masculine and women feminine. It also puts less stress on the relationship because our roles are mostly already understood. These things just appeal to me. Also being a career woman…

You didn’t ask me to specify what other positive and attractive qualities are. These qualities vary from person to person of course but for me they are things like being kind, having similar sense of humor, being generous, enjoying physical activities, an interest in certain hobbies that I find attractive, etc. I can’t give you exact numbers because everyone lives in different areas and lives different lifestyles. I live in the south in the US. I am early 20s, but I prefer men who are late 20s. …

I am not agreeing with you. I am saying that if religious “nice guys” are confused about why they are not getting religious women, these are the reasons. Most religious women are not going for Chad. Some religious women are not going for your religious “nice guy” (though many are, let’s not act like nice religious men aren’t getting women due to several factors such as gender ratio). I am saying that most religious women truly want the religious guy who also exudes masculine traits. The “nice gu…

More than religious - you must have other positive and attractive qualities outside of us sharing the same faith. I do care about my faith. Don’t assume and jump to conclusions just because I made a comment that you don’t understand or agree with. Most people who are truly religious put their faith first, but that doesn’t mean we don’t like other positive traits in a partner. Preferring a man who can provide, is definitely not “worldy.” Status and power are overemphasized by TRP imo but anyway, …

I have to disagree. Women who are truly committed to their religion and try to execute its teachings in every aspect of their life, do want religious men. They talk about it, day dream about it, and pray about it too. Their biggest issue generally is usually that the ratio of available, dedicated religious men is smaller than the amount of available, dedicated religious women in the church especially amongst young adults. Also, just because someone wants a religious partner doesn’t mean they wan…

Women are expected to be an asset to men. Cook, clean, bear children, be nurturing, be the primary caretaker of children, teach children manners and to be generally socially acceptable, be the primary caretaker of elderly family members, get along well with partner’s family as well as being a good hostess/helper, remember all the little details (birthdays, doctor’s appointments, sending thank you cards, etc.), be supportive, be submissive, be agreeable, stick by your man, not be slutty but not b…

I don’t watch the show so idk. I was thinking more of Liz than of her characters. But manipulation and seduction are major parts of the dark feminine. If you’re attracted to that, then you’re attracted to dark feminine energy. If you’re attracted to the more aggressive and violent side of her, then you’re attracted to masculinity.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/23 10:42 PM

Yes, but she leans more into dark feminine energy as opposed to pure masculinity. She’s very alluring.

Meh, depends on the woman and the relationship. An extremely attractive young woman benefits more from being single. If her bf can buy her nice gifts, take her out, give her money etc., she can probably get all of that from multiple men at once and not commit to any of them. They are all trying to win her so she’s just being spoiled all around without having to put as much effort in. An average women will likely benefit from being in a relationship more, yes. She probably isn’t getting as much f…

By sexual preferences I just meant that they want a woman to be overly dominant or degrading sexually, but they could also be gay sure. I think men like this should work on becoming more masculine. True masculinity naturally is attracted to femininity so that would fix the problem. I don’t think most guys who feel like you want to change though, so I see no need to make them. As long as they only date masculine women and don’t try to bombard, nag, villianize, or guilt trip feminine women, they a…

Idk you obviously, but when I hear of men who dislike femininity I usually see it attributed to: -them being a feminine man or just lacking in masculinity -broke or laziness -they have sexual preferences that steer away from what we usually call normal -they previously had a higher standard/regard for women and after being let down now see femininity as a negative I personally find something wrong with these men because I do believe in a more traditional masculinity/femininity balance amongst th…

There are some masculine men still out there, but you have to gain their attention. Masculine men are attracted to feminine women. Work on your femininity. Learn how and when to speak. Gain feminine hobbies and skills. Get in touch with your body and beautifying yourself and your life. Learn how to dress, walk, and generally carry yourself. Have standards and stick to them. Be reasonable but (kindly) firm. You know pretty soon whether or not a man is masculine enough for you. If he’s not, move o…

If he’s a decent guy I’ll offer, but I won’t insist. Waiter brings the check, I’ll say “do you want to split?” If he says no, I won’t push it because it’s his choice, and for some guys it’s actually a pride thing. But if the guy says yes, we split and it just confirms he wasn’t for me and that I made the right choice lol.

Pretty accurate. Some might respond if they don’t care about their notifications being blown up lol, but any non paying woman who values peace of mind probably wouldn’t respond. Also, why you tag me? 😂 I told y’all the ONLY time I will split the check is if I never plan on seeing the guy again.

Churches almost always have more single women than single men. Religious men usually definitely have their pick. Also, church women are usually much more relationship minded than non religious women because most churches emphasize being a wife whenever the topic of being a woman comes up.

What does any of this have to do with my point? I’m not speaking on older women at all. There are plenty of older, lonely men. Most people work with or in proximity to at least one. If these men took the time to tell younger men the truth about dating as they age, maybe more of them would understand.

No. Once I lose respect and attraction to a guy it has never come back. I might recognize later that he’s still a decent person inside, but that doesn’t change my attraction at all.

For the most part, only women will tell men this, and the majority of men don’t care about what women have to say on the topic. It will take older, lonely men to convince them, and even then some people are just stubborn or think “it’ll never happen to me.”

As someone who tries to socialize with men and women who aim for male breadwinner status. Most see it as a status symbol, but some see it as necessity. Some also just see it as tradition. The following are summarized quotes of men who support the idea of male breadwinners: -“I’m wealthy, my wife doesn’t have to work. As long as she makes me happy, she’s doing her job.” -“I make good money, I don’t want my wife to work. Just take care of things around the house.” -“The role of a man is a provider…

If the girl is a 10/10 as described then yes. If the man is under a 7/10 in looks people’s first thought will be that he has money. Also never said I speak for the majority of women. I speak for myself and state my observations of other individuals.

Lol call whoever you want, doesn’t change my answer. Also the question is asking does women giving attention to less attractive men with extremely attractive women stem from insecurity? My response is in reference to that. I never said money was the only way a man could get women’s attention.

I am not a believer in TRP so I don’t think they can help any man get the woman they desire. But if it did work for that girl, congratulations ig. We would never actually know if their relationship truly stems from mutual attraction, seduction, or material/looks transaction.

I don’t see it as insecurity at all. Hot girl, ugly man..money. That’s most of our first thoughts. Some of us want a piece of it. Been like that forever. If we find out he doesn’t have any money, he loses his appeal for the majority of us. A few will nosily stick around to learn of his personality. The rest will write it off as charity work.

I think it’s a stretch, but even if it was true it would be irrelevant. Men still do the majority of approaching and women still care less about looks in a partner than men do. Yes I mostly agree. Though personally I don’t care about your lats. I’m into the lumberjack body type so wider waist is fine by me. No V needed. As far as the scrawny skinny fat thing when most women talk about dad bods we aren’t thinking of them at all so yes, build masculine frame first. Frame and overall upper body strength is very important. Broad shoulders are attractive and if you can’t at the very least carry your girl, you’re either too weak or she’s way too fat.

One of the worst feeling relationship incompatibilities is intelligence imo. -conservatives get married more and quicker so timing could be an issue -conservative women are more likely to want to follow traditional gender roles and a liberal man may not approve of this or care to meet that standard -people’s opinions of heavy issues can make you look at them differently or lose attraction to them ex: abortion, social justice, immigration -women tend to adopt more to/change to meet the desires of the man. You’re making way too many assumptions. I’m not fearful at all. If they are of a better social status and I want to get into that social scene, I’m going to treat them well in case we cross paths again. I don’t want to burn bridges as I try to get to that level.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/22 08:23 AM

Reread my statement. I am being polite to everyone. The only difference with men above my league is that I will emphasize wanting to keep a good social connection with them.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/22 08:01 AM

How did you get that from what I said? I literally emphasized that I’m discussing financial and social leagues. This has nothing to do with level of attractiveness.

I will admit that I often call men “weak” (in private) but that doesn’t mean I lack empathy. I truly feel sorry for soft boys and shy guys. But that doesn’t change the facts. Same way a guy might empathize with an ugly woman and how she’s treated, but that can’t change his lack of attraction to her. Sometimes it just is what it is…

Yes I know that everyone wants to be wanted to an extent, but that desire is more for women. Though modern men are craving women’s desire more than previous generations mostly due to feminization of men and the fact that women can now provide for themselves.

I only aim for more traditional relationships so the type of men I’m referring to may not be like you. And I don’t care for the AFBB ideal for other reasons, but I don’t think that applies here. BB usually refers to financial giving or long romantic gestures before commitment. If anyone was going to want their ego stroked for completing a physical task that a woman can’t, it would be an “alpha.”

Confidence, assertiveness, and knowing exactly what you want is attractive to me. And of course I want to be desired. I want to be wanted. Men tend to want to be needed while women want to be wanted. Of course nobody wants a partner who will literally fall over and die without them, but these dynamics are important. Those little moments of the guy being needed make him feel good. Having to carry the heavy item because she can’t and being thanked for it, boost his ego. For women it’s usually the …

I’m answering this from a women’s perspective so advice to men is biased already, but I still disagree. Women know what women want. I think we also give more detailed answers for different types of women. Men know what women sometimes like, but the perspective is usually shortsighted. Men seem to give more standard advice that doesn’t work for different types of women.

In my experience, men respond better to feminine qualities when it comes to confrontation because masculine qualities get read as a challenge. Many men don’t want to be challenged by a woman, especially not their partner. Is this untrue for you? Also I don’t think trad wives were masculine at all in that way. Masculinity is extremely important to me. Protectiveness, provision, discipline, dominance, strength, logical thinking, etc. all mean so much to me when finding a partner. The feminine traits that are acceptable in men are gentleness, nurturing, and patience. Men like women, especially young women. More young women are liberal than conservative so sometimes conservative men find liberal women attractive. Men are usually expected to be the rock in the relationship. You make her feel secure. She wants to lean on you in life and in physical comfort. I like when a guy rests on me. I find it very cute and loving, but it can’t happen all the time. If he’s always leaning on me it starts to feel like I am the rock, which I dislike. If he does it excessively I may start to view him as soft. Lean on her. Just not more than she leans on you.

Men “poke fun” at women’s spaces all the time. It’s not rare. And as a man, fight back. Fight for your spaces. Your organizations should be primarily funded by men anyways. If you truly have a non toxic, non harmful/hateful space for men, you should advocate for it. Appeal when it’s wrongly slandered. There is an attack on male and female only spaces overall. People complain but don’t actually try to stop it. You actually have to do something.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/22 11:51 AM
2

Then you should fight back. The same way some of us are trying to fight against biological males invading women’s spaces.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/22 11:40 AM

I never said average men were combatting female only spaces. If anything they ignore or make fun of it.And a lot of men’s groups are hateful and misogynistic, but for the ones that are not i see no issue with them. I also don’t see “women writing them off” but if they do who cares? Women do not have to encourage male only spaces the same way that men don’t have to encourage female only spaces. It’s cool if they want to, but overall it only matters that people are respectful.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/22 11:36 AM

There’s nothing wrong with male only spaces as long as women can have women only spaces.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/22 11:22 AM

No. A person who is against sex work is not supposed to try to make sex work easier. Sex work is tough, that’s why we want it to stop, not just be easier.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/22 11:19 AM
1

You’re reaching. It’s not “evil” to not want yo do things to make sex work easier for them. Why would someone who is anti sex work want to make that occupation easier? And just because we’re not making it easier for them does not mean we’re making it harder for them. The customers and harassers make it hard, the rest of us simply ignore them.

Yes 2. Yes, but I would ask. 3. Absolutely I am in college. Went on a couple dates with a guy my freshman year (his senior). He told me he had experimented with a guy his freshman year and realized it wasn’t for him. I was already losing interest in him a little bit, but that was the nail in the coffin. I realized then that I should ask directly about people’s sexuality/sexual history and to be more blunt about my values so it’s no surprise to them that it’s unacceptable to me. Especially with o…

I try to get it out before the date, but if it’s kind of a quick decision I don’t mind discussing it on the date in a direct or indirect way. If we’re incompatible, that’s fine. Misogyny. Most of us have some type of gender bias ingrained from a young age so you have to be reasonable with your expectations of people, especially towards men. Dating the type of men I date (usually more traditional, religious, and some level of country) I expect certain levels of misogyny. Stating literal facts such as women are weaker than men, don’t bother me at all. Mild teasing doesn’t affect me either. I actually agree that it’s not a purely sexual transaction. When most people think of a sexual transaction, it’s x amount of money and a hotel room. They have sex and then leave. Most sugar relationships are not like this. It’s just a transaction that often (not always) includes sex. They actually set out guidelines. The man may offer money, gifts, and trips while the woman offers being beautiful, quality time for a certain number of days per week, being his arm candy at special events, and sex …

For me, approach is usually the number 1. I don’t mind cold approaches at all as long as I’m not busy, but you still have to do it with some manners. I don’t like pet names from men I don’t know. Honestly, most of what women offer traditionally comes after marriage. Men sacrifice more beforehand and women sacrifice more in the relationship. But I do try to exhibit some of the feminine relationship qualities in dating. Simple examples such as agreeableness and supportiveness. Then in situational instances you can drop in some of those qualities such as straightening up/mildly decorating a guy’s apartment, babysitting his niece, cooking meals for him and his guests. You just get a few mild…

I want the man to work and pay for everything. He should be the protector and primary disciplinarian of the children. He should also be responsible for outside chores such as getting rid of old limbs or car maintenance. I want to be a sahm, raise kids, cook, clean, garden, run errands, etc. My primary responsibility would be to …

I understand. The masculinization of women and the feminization of men has made most things more difficult. The sad part for men is that though more of you want to be desired, women still aren’t as physically attracted to men as men are to women.

I’m not emasculating men. I’m just stating that wanting your partner to desire you is a traditionally feminine trait. This is due to more inherent gender differences and traditionally women depending on men.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/22 03:59 PM

I expect men to pay because I believe in more traditional relationships where the man should be a provider. I do have my own money. I work lol. It’s not about fairness to me. It’s about compatibility. More traditional masculine and feminine roles balance things out.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/22 03:57 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/22 03:45 PM
0

I find it interesting too. Men now seem so concerned with how physically attracted a woman is to them. That’s normally a more feminine concern. As long as a woman thinks you look decent, likes your personality, and respects you that really should be enough.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/22 03:42 PM
3

Why? I think it just shows they want to appeal to women by having something cute and dependent in their life.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/22 02:27 PM

Women crave stability, comfort, and protection which relationships bring. At a certain age societal pressure also plays a role. You don’t get many benefits from casual sex. Most guys aren’t giving money, comfort, or protection to hookups. There is no stability at all. Casual sex is worse for women because they are risking pregnancy with a man who does not want them. Also casual sex is usually more enjoyable for men because women are less likely to orgasm.

Obviously it’s not a necessity. Necessities are food, water, and shelter. Anything outside of that is just an enhancement. Men don’t need these items, but bringing certain items in can boost the quality of life. The point is that men don’t even realize the importance of this items and how much they improve things. If you don’t like it though, that’s fine for you.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/22 05:36 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/22 05:10 AM

Not really. Majority of women still prefer to be outside the home so they can be independent. Also a lot of women are masculinized now and truly hate doing feminine and domestic work. This coming from someone who does want to be a sahm and gets a lot of pushback for it lol.

That’s not the point. With no man in the house, women don’t have to clean up after another adult. Less domestic labor essentially.

You can look up studies on women doing more housework. You can use common sense. You can talk to 50/50 divorcees. It’s just factual. Women are simply held to higher standards domestically. Frankly, you’re just wrong but I won’t keep trying to change your mind.

In traditional households women do all of the domestic work. In modern 50/50 households women are primarily responsible for domestic work and the emotional labor of it. Husbands are not working as hard domestically as wives. That’s one of the biggest issues with 50/50 relationships for women.

I don’t think it’s very solvable for the average man. One of the biggest benefits men get in marriage is someone else being responsible for the domestic chores. As well as making the house into a home scenario. Average guys can’t afford a maid or interior decorator. And I think women will be happier not cleaning up after someone else, but less happy in other areas such as lack of protection and provision.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/22 05:34 AM
7

If you don’t want kids simply disregard that information. But I believe children are best in households with both parents present. Intruders vs domestic violence is not a good comparison at all so I won’t even argue that lol. But the point with intruders is that without the man in the house, the woman doesn’t have the built in protector that she would if he was in the home.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/22 05:30 AM
2

Do I think I have? No. Do people tell me I do? Yes. Reasons: -I expect men to lead and initiate. -I don’t encourage men to cry or share their feelings -I don’t date bisexual men or men who dress femininely at all. -I believe it’s a man’s responsibility to provide (pay for everything) and protect
/r/PurplePillDebate01/11/22 05:10 AM

It’s better for women then men because it means the woman isn’t required to do domestic work. The women gets less protection than she would with a live in spouse though. Also cheating will be much easier for both parties especially the men. And this arrangement is not good if you have children.

It will be more attainable for women who are naturally skinny, yes. They will need to wear waist trainers or build a little muscle to boost the appearance of their shoulders and hips in order to elude to a smaller waist. Women who are average will struggle. We may see a slight rise in anorexia and bulimia, hopefully not ofc. For average women, it’s likely easier to build lower muscles than shrink your stomach past a certain point due to natural female anatomy, fat distribution, and lower body mu…

Yes. It’s mainly due to the 20 year fashion cycle. We’re reverting to early 2000s fashion which means more people will want bodies that will allow them to wear low rise jeans and y2k fashion and such. We’ll be seeing more imitation Kendalls as opposed to Kylies and Kim’s.

I do care about her a lot. I love her. I’m not trying to make her the bad guy, but It just hurts ig. I love our friendship, but knowing she has feelings for me makes me feel like a tease and that I’d just be hurting her. Knowing that every time I’ve changed in front of her she was probably thinking inappropriate thoughts makes me uncomfortable. I honestly have no idea what to do about this.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 09:32 PM

Maybe, but what did she expect me to do with this information?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 03:20 PM

But she knows that’s a dealbreaker for me so she knows telling me that would end the close friendship. I see it as one of those forced heartbreak things. Heads, I like her back and we explore a relationship. Tails, I break her heart and it forces her to move on. It may be extreme, but it’s an efficient strategy imo.

I find it unethical to be close friends with someone who has feelings or a sexual desire for you. But she knows this, so by telling me she has feelings for me she’s pretty much giving me two options: reciprocate her feelings or end the friendship If she wanted to still be friends she would’ve just told me she was gay. There would be adjustments, but it wouldn’t be a dealbreaker at all.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/10/22 01:08 PM

If “the look” means being a diet version of a celebrity then I’d say no. It’s a lot better to just try to look like your best self. Also, is the Weeknd considered very attractive now? Energy can be swapped with traits in this context. Masculine/feminine is based on biology and traditional societal expectations. Women leading men is a relatively new concept in western society. Historically women were not permitted/fitted to lead men.

/r/PurplePillDebate27/10/22 06:47 PM

You do understand that everyone has masculine/feminine energy within them correct? It’s just that men are primarily masculine and women are primarily feminine. Everyone has to tap in to the other energy at some point. And women being leaders of their children or other women was obviously common practice, but women leading men is a relatively new concept.

Men are feminizing heavily. Women are masculinizing. It’s just not getting the same pushback as men because women in power is seen as “progressive.” More women don’t want or care to raise children, we’re being less submissive, many of us struggle to receive, etc.

I think it does. Sadly I have much experience with pick me’s due to my circles, beliefs, school etc. I’d say 65% of pick me’s I’ve met were less attractive. The clearest indicator of Pick Me’s is that they are often less attractive. Women in the RP, PP, BP, and conservative circles are usually more attractive and keep up their overall attractiveness than more liberal feminist women imo. Pick Me’s are often less attractive (or older) than the other women in this circle so they go out of their way to appeal to men with their beliefs. Another indicator is low standards. I don’t hate porn, but I do think it’s bad. It’s an unsafe industry and too many people are not consenting to what’s happening. It is not good for men or women physical or mentally either, but within a relationship context porn just makes you feel bad. Men are more attracted to women’s bodies than women are to men’s bodies. Men usually are hornier and can get stimulated much more easily by random women on the street. It’s already hard enough dealing with that knowledge. So adding on a man active…

In my experience they are mostly about the same but with the woman a bit more attractive. A few times the woman is extremely more attractive. And it’s rare that the man is more attractive.

I’ve only ever been to one stand up show and it was decently entertaining. Don’t have any comedians that I actually like and follow though. And don’t worry. The ridiculous comments in this sub always give me a reason to laugh (or cry) lol.

Complete dealbreaker. Position doesn’t matter, but in theory bottom would be worse.

Is it a red flag that I don’t enjoy comedies?

/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/22 12:17 AM

This is the simple truth. When we look at new couples, the woman is almost always more attractive than the man to a certain degree. Men are more visual. Men prioritize a woman’s looks (often before anything else).
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/22 10:12 PM

I’d have way more respect for him if he was honest. I think people should be direct about what they want. I’m not willing to share a man, but I’d appreciate his honesty and even make suggestions of women I know that might be interested in his offer.

Please reread my statement and notice I said “often”. And just like you know people who saw losing their virginity as no big deal, I’ve seen many who felt it was a huge deal and regretted their decision or it just changed them in some way. Every time you have sex, you are taking a risk.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/10/22 01:28 AM

Idk about this. I see way more men hyping up cubs than women encouraging cougars.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/22 07:20 PM

If I was a man, but still had my same values (belief in gender norms, more traditional relationships, etc.) It would be super easy to find a wife. If I was just a modern man, dating and having casual sex it would be harder to get sex but easier to get into a relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/22 07:17 PM

Yeah, I like them best kind of wide and strong I guess, not just fat though. But asking out short girls or really tall girls might be helpful for you. And that is interesting. I don’t think abs look good on women. I’m also not attracted to women so my opinion doesn’t really matter lol. But when I was at my fittest in high school I started to get some lines on my stomach. I freaked lol. I never want to be fat, but also I never want to have abs or really defined muscles on the arms. What about abs…

I said nothing about equality. I simply stated that I believe in masculinity and femininity. Being the aggressor is a masculine trait. I don’t think women should be taking shots because that is the masculine role imo. A woman doesn’t have to wait if she does not want to that’s her choice, but I don’t have to agree with her choices.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/22 02:07 PM

I do think women making the move is more masculine and doing her a disservice. But yes, it’s not the end if the world and she’s free to make her own choice.

I do believe in “gendered” traits and certain things being more inherently masculine and feminine. So I’m definitely the woman you are talking about lol. But I don’t shame other women. I just think they are wrong.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/22 01:05 PM
2

Disagree.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/22 01:03 PM
2

Kind of. I think it leaves something inside, whether it’s physical, emotional, mental or an attachment. Often more than one. And often even a distain for the other person depending on the situation. I think they can be reversed though (not the permanent physical ones of course) but it takes time and healing imo. This is just my personal view. Others feel differently and truly believe in literal soul ties and life lasting effects.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/22 12:41 PM
1

You are projecting. You don’t know me or know what appeals to me and makes me want a guy to talk to me or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/22 12:24 PM
2

I just used the word in general. I personally don’t believe in actual soul ties, though many people do and I understand why they see it that way. Especially the part about taking on traits of the other person, that part seems pretty legit to me. But for me it’s mainly about the emotional, physical, and mental effect and attachment that is now on you. It can affect both sexes, but because women in particular are receivers it has an even stronger affect on us imo.

I’m going to stop engaging after this because I don’t care for circular men’s woes vs women’s safety conversations. But I’m not encouraging women treat men badly. I’m very kind and feminine whenever a man approaches me, but I’m also prepared and not letting my guard down just to make men feel better. I never said men weren’t vulnerable. I’m saying women are much more vulnerable than men when it comes to a physical altercation with a man. And I plainly think your argument about men’s aggression i…

Simply striking up a conversation is not a bad thing. I actually like when guys approach in public instead of when it’s just the two of us. I feel safer with others nearby and I’m probably in a better mood. If I’m sitting in a public space not doing much, feel free to come over and speak. Just don’t sit down without asking. It’s not creepy unless you make it creepy. Don’t just come up and compliment my body and think I’m going to give you the time of day. Don’t approach when I’m walking to my ca…

Yes it generalizes men. That’s the point. We should always look out for red flags, but most men approach all the same. You can’t tell the good from the bad. It’s not that I think the majority of men are bad. But because I can’t tell who is good or bad, I expect everyone to be bad. I’m not afraid or encouraging fear. I’m encouraging preparation. Expect the worse, hope for the best is my motto for most of life. And the difference between you and women is that you have a chance. If I’m up against a…

It may not help men, but I think it helps women to expect bad behavior from men. It’s not to make men out as evil creatures, but to make women more aware and be prepared no matter what. Nothing else to the story. They ask. I reject. They get mad. And I don’t live in a bad neighborhood if that’s what you’re implying.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/22 11:22 AM
11

You’re more concerned with the narrative of men in general than the fact that so many are angry and violent over basic rejection. I don’t think it’s the way “most normal men” behave, but I’ll say that when rejecting men in my personal experience it’s 40/60 odds of whether or not he’ll get mad.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/22 11:10 AM

You don’t have to see it, but it happens all the time. For women, it’s not a phenomenon at all. And it comes from regular guys, not just the crazy looking ones.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/22 11:01 AM
9

No. If you enter a monogamous relationship with anyone you don’t expect them to cheat. If you only see men with money and nothing else as HVM then maybe you can expect them to cheat or just trade you out at some point. But an actual HVM is not a cheater because he has discipline and values his investment (wife).

I find it sad. We have trivialized sex even though it’s a serious and often life changing activity.

Essentially just giving the other person your full attention, trying to understand them, processing what they say, and then responding based on that. So not just letting them finish and then you jump in with your opinion. Actually trying to see their POV.
/r/PurplePillDebate16/10/22 10:49 AM

For women: Having clean, healthy hair that suits your face Active listening. Not listening to respond Dressing more femininely in a way that suits your shape Finding your balance of bubbly and alluring. Attitude essentially. Keep up hygiene, self care, nails and toes staying done etc.

Yes. I’m saying that’s all you really need to have an ideal body to me. I don’t care for abs. Be big and work out enough (or have a labor job) so that you are strong and it’s good to me. I’m not saying it’s easy. If you’re naturally skinny, this isn’t really an option. But this is just my preference.

If you’re fat, getting in shape will help. If you’re very underweight, gaining in a decent shape can help. But if you’re in decently fit shape, going to extreme fitness isn’t likely going to help that much. Guys who spend too much time in the gym and look like body builders are often a red flag or just plain intimidating to a lot of women. Though as you get older, being in shape will likely be a huge plus. When you’re 30+ and those other guys are fat, being fit will probably make you stand out. …

Please elaborate on how women are solely and biologically obsessed with having kids? I’m a early 20s woman who does truly want kids and a family, but I can tell you that is no longer the popular end goal of most women now. And biologically, women do have more innate selectivity due to needing a good mate, but men have always had a higher sex drive and the desire to pass on their seed. And the drug addict analogy is idiotic, but if you don’t think men have an idea of what they want in a family yo…

You’re obviously misinterpreting my tone then. That happens easily online, but you seem to be taking it way too close to heart. I can state my opinions without it being an attack on anyone. Sure it’s attractive for some women to wear jeans. I have a more sexualized body shape so I definitely know this. But I’m just saying that wearing dresses is objectively seen as attractive because it’s more traditionally feminine. And I never ever said people must dress attractively. But I did state that cert…

I’m going to generalize so if you don’t like that idk what to tell you. And I didn’t say people had to always be dressed up in public, but I do think wearing sweatpants is low effort. It shouldn’t be something you wear everyday IMO. But you can wear whatever you want. I’m just letting it be known that it’s not attractive. You are being purposely obtuse. I do think average men need to make an effort to look better. I agreed with most of your post besides the makeup part. And honestly, I think if you asked most women if they prefer their guy had some pimples or wear makeup, they’d take the pimples. Makeup is just too feminine for most of us. Also, I’m talking about normal women. Not the super progressive, feminist, egalitarian, no bra type women lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/22 12:28 PM
1

Because celebrities have different standards than average people. We expect them to look better. The same way a guy can like a hot celebrity on tv in skimpy clothes, he may not want to see his girl out in public in skimpy clothes. I’d prefer to see the imperfections than to see a man I like in makeup. It’s often noticeable and if it’s not, when it comes off I’ll be completely turned off. It’s a dealbreaker for a lot of women. But do what you want. It’s all your decision.

I was actually nominated as the official spokesperson of female attraction at this year’s ovary owners convention xD But seriously, if you don’t believe me just ask other women their opinions. Most girls aren’t repulsed by sweatpants (though some are) but do we necessarily find them attractive, usually not. And actually I like wearing heels, but I’m a student and I work so I can’t wear them everyday for efficiency. I do usually wear them at least 2-3 times a week though. And lol I definitely do …

Lazy because it’s pretty much lounge wear. If you’re wearing that everyday or even most days, it’s just not attractive. Wear what you want, but the topic is attraction. No guys don’t have to wear suits all the time. IMO the most attractive outfit for a man is straight leg dark blue jeans (no holes) and a ironed black tshirt with cowboy boots lol. Most girls are satisfied with something similar to that, but maybe different shoes depending on taste. Another popular one is those kind of v neck, loo…

Unless your foundation is an exact perfect match to your face color and neck/chest color, it will likely be at least partially noticeable to a woman. And I could be wrong about the men idk. I’m just thinking about what would happen if any straight guy wore makeup around my brothers lol. But as for women, it’s gonna be a negative majority of the time.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/22 10:46 AM

Women usually have more experience with makeup than men so it’s a better chance we’ll notice. Also, when you do finally take the makeup off it’ll be an immediate turn off once it’s noticed.

A lot of truth here. I’ll only add that when it comes to clothing, dressing lazy all the time is a turn off. Wearing sweatpants, graphic tshirts, and slides often honestly is one of the quickest ways for me to lose interest in a man. That’s my opinion so just take it as you wish. But I will disagree with OP say wearing makeup as a man is a good idea. Unless there are special circumstances, it comes off feminine and most women won’t like it. I don’t see guys like that often tbh. That’s why it’s so shocking when I do see one lol. My ideal guy physically is like a big, strong guy. Think like a lumberjack or lineman body type. So not fat but definitely not with those super defined gym abs. Just kinda wide and strong like he does manual labor. And facially I really like short but full beards, thick eyebrows, and big noses. If he has broad shoulders and a wide frame, I feel like I want him to just grab me, hold me, or toss me over his shoulder. If he has big hands, it’s hard not to stare at them and imagine them grabbing me. Sometimes I just get this nervousness, a natural reaction to fix my hair, and maybe I’ll blush. A…

Mansplaining usually occurs randomly by the man. His advice or teaching was not asked for. So women going to a man’s dating seminar is not mansplaining because they actually want his advice. Also, a lot of men and women don’t know how to talk to each other. Men usually can’t effectively communicate harsh truths to the opposite sex in an unoffensive and not insensitive way. So it’s often harder to take criticism from the opposite sex.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/22 03:27 AM

I don’t think there are many relationships with no physical attraction from the man’s part. Most relationships are based on the man’s level of attraction to the woman. Women’s attraction to men is a factor, but not as important as the other way around IMO. And yes, ambition is generally nice. Though ambition without money will get pls quickly.

Then who are these men getting struct down by? I’m not understanding. And I’m not disagreeing that men can be attracted to a diverse group of women. I think it’s just about being realistic. A man who was consistently struck down by his ideal woman to the point that he now actively settles for women he’s not very attracted to, is IMO (generally) weak. He will cave quickly if his fantasy woman ever reciprocates. And no, my last statement is based purely on things I’ve seen and heard. I won’t pretend I have substantial evidence for this. Fantasy or not, given the chance a guy like that is probably going to cheat. And I don’t see having a type as only being attracted to one common category, but it is what you usually want and go for. I don’t believe in 50/50. Not good for families or relationship dynamics. Ruins the masculinity/femininity balance. Not good for children. Causes more stress and resentment in relationships etc. It only works if the man actually holds up his end domestically as well, which we know they don’t usually do. Plus a lot of women are making more money than their husbands now which means the guy isn’t holding up his financial end as well. It’s a red flag to me if a man is 50/50 because it shows he’s not…

This isn’t about whether or not gay people exist. It’s about whether or not we in western society have traditionally acknowledged, embraced, and educated on the topic of lgbt sex specifically in classrooms. Traditionally we have not, so it is a more liberal concept to do so.

Women settle the most physically, but men settle more in other areas such as finances. Women tend to value the other factors more, and men value looks more so it’s not so bad. The issue to me is when people settle in multiple areas. Like if a woman settles for an unattractive AND non provider/non protective man cough cough 50/50 relationships cough lol.

Personally I don’t want to be with someone who shows off their money. I actually find it pretty unattractive. And honestly I would be fine if a guy was a janitor (but was actually able to support a family) and had good savings. It’s an honest job, likely has benefits, and it means he knows the importance of cleanliness. I will do the majority of the housework, but I’d be happy having a man that made sure not to just leave things gross and messy for me so that I’m not overwhelmed.

Maybe we’ve just know different types of people, but I’ve definitely seen girls who initiated and then put in most of the effort from there. And personally I do think women who approach look desperate, but they’re free to do as they wish. But like I said, if a girl is specifically into a shy man then it’s fine for her to approach.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/22 08:05 AM

Oh yes, that’s definitely true. Attraction often varies a lot between the people we’re with and the people we actually want. And thanks for explaining :)
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/22 11:35 PM
2

Can you elaborate?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/22 11:26 PM
3

These were not my definitions. I said what I meant. And no I don’t hate those unattractive men. I clearly meant that they hate themselves and have too low self esteem.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/22 11:20 PM
11

Because no woman wants to be with a man who doesn’t deeply desire her. The longing to be desired by the man we’re with is our female nature. Also because the guy would be more tempted to cheat because he’s always longed for a specific type of woman. So if that type of woman ever does give him the time of day, it’ll be harder for him to say no. If you care to read: An example I’ve seen in real time was a guy who was a friend/family member of a guy I was dating. This guy was like 28 and struggled …

It would depend on if the women he dated recently, including me, are his type or not. If he never dated someone within his usual type that would be concerning and possibly an issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/22 10:32 PM
3

That’s not what I mean. An example of a guy not ready to date is a man who currently is only doing hookups because he’s not ready to settle down. Or like a guy who just got out of a toxic relationship so he’s not ready to jump in a new one. Shy men can be mentally ready to date, but they will obviously have a harder time. That’s why I’m saying women shouldn’t approach men accept if she specifically likes shy men.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/22 10:26 PM
8

To clarify, I am only discussing for relationships because I don’t believe in hookups and casual sex. I also believe in more traditional relationships. Main Reasons: -They are making themselves the initiatior by default. By setting the precedent of asking him out you also set the expectation that you’ll do the majority of texting, calling, planning, etc. You’re not letting the man pursue and he may get too comfortable with letting you do everything. Or the opposite he’ll get upset. Also, most wo…

I can’t give perspective on dating 20 years ago because I wasn’t dating then, but less attractive men definitely still approach. I’d say slightly above average men approach the most. The most attractive men are likely more selective so they approach less or they can just wait for desperate or thirsty women to approach them. And I think below average men just approach based on their self esteem levels. Ones who hate themselves don’t approach anybody. The ones who have average self esteem likely o…

By head start I didn’t mean who loses their virginity first. I was saying boys usually get the option to start dating before girls do. And they don’t have as much pressure from parents not to have sex. Whether they take advantage of this though is a personal decision, but the window is open. And for me it was the opposite. The majority of guys around me were losing their virginity before the majority of girls.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/22 09:24 PM
1

Yes I think that’s closer to the truth. The guy usually had to do something (knowingly or unknowingly) to turn us on. Visuals don’t do as much. I always say, men are more attracted to women’s bodies than women are to men’s bodies.

I think you’re reaching on the insecurities tbh. If a guy loves and usually dates blondes, but his gf is brunette that may be an insecurity for her. She’s not providing him with something she knows he wants. Same can be said for women dating bi men. And of course their can be prejudice and generalizations towards bi men, but I don’t think it really matters. People can have preferences. If someone doesn’t want to date certain races, fat people, short people whatever, the reasoning doesn’t really …

We’ll just have to agree to disagree on butts tbh. And yes I know most men don’t want VS girls. That wasn’t my implication. Smaller perky butts are not the same as flat ones.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/22 10:23 AM
8

I think the majority of men will always prefer medium to large (not xl) perky breasts, but butt definitely varies. But men’s definition of a nice butt has always been based on trend. Sometimes small and perky. Sometimes big. Big butts were seen as fat by mainstream standards for a long time. And overall body frame definitely changes regularly as I explained, though the small waist always remains the same.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/10/22 10:07 AM
9

Not really. The trendy look in men is mainly a thing among teenagers. There has been some changes in the ideal man in the last 100 years, but the majority were still some version of a masculine male. Men’s types are the ones that are more influenced based on women’s body trends. 20s was the petite , boyish flapper body type. 50s was the Marilyn Monroe hourglass. 60s was Twiggy. 70s was more tall and lean. 80s was the sporty look. 90s was huge boobs. Men often have a head start on dating in teen years. They can step into dating more freely and gain experience before most girls because parents usually care less about their sons virginity than their daughters. Men get more time. A 35 year old man is seen way different than a 35 year old woman. Men usually get to “observe their prey.” Because guys usually approach, men can see the woman they want and watch how she moves for a few days before they actually ask her out. I disagree. I am a woman who wants a man to provide financially while I take care of more domestic things so I know we exist. But I also know that some women do only want men for money and men only want women for looks. If they both are honest about it and consenting adults, I have no problem with that even if I don’t agree with it for my personal life. Why is it bad for women to look for a man who provides over an attractive man? In the long run looks fade, but money and personality give some security. Women and men have different priorities in dating, what’s wrong with that?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 11:18 PM
5

This is untrue when we are speaking on virgins. And again, a guy can have experience as a positive trait for some women but being promiscuous with an extreme high n count is not attractive. Also, leadership is not comparable here. If anything, I have more faith in a man to lead if he’s not promiscuous because it shows he has discipline and standards. Discipline is one of the most attractive qualities in a man.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 05:25 PM
10

No. Most women who stay virgins are religious so they don’t want a promiscuous man. Even non virgin women who are good with a man having experience, don’t necessarily want him to be promiscuous. It’s not attractive to think of his extreme number of sex partners, the possibility of STDs, and for virgin women especially it can create insecurity that she does not measure up to his previous sexual relationships.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/09/22 05:02 PM
18

I think the difference between the promiscuity example and the 6ft example was is hypocrisy vs transaction. Most women want a man who is taller. Most men want a woman who is shorter. This is a transaction because both parties can benefit. If a promiscuous man wants a virgin women, he benefits but she does not. Most virgin women do not want a man with a super high n count. There is no even transaction here.

If you believe in gender roles, then you do believe in masculinity and femininity. Women are expected to be the primary child rearers because of our more natural urge to be nurturing. Nurturing is a key part of femininity. Same goes for providing and masculinity. It sounds like you do believe in these natural concepts, just not the society pushed aspects. Ex: women wear pink and men wear blue

I am not strong or independent, but no one should be completely dependent on another person. Also, your worst case scenario is incredibly naive. An average woman could easily be left broke, no job experience, and 20+ years older and with children. She would struggle to find a job and to find a man who will provide for her and her children, especially now that she is older.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/09/22 10:25 PM

I think this joke has more to do with the fact that women were seen as unstable, pretty little fairies who are only lead by emotion lol. But if you want to take things literally, now that women have more sexual freedom in society, there is less of a need for a woman to be crazy horny. In theory, she can have sex whenever she wants now. Whereas in the past, her sexuality was extremely repressed so she probably had stronger urges.

Moral conservatism and Christianity have the majority of their gender beliefs based in traditional masculinity and femininity. Women have no incentive to stop male body shaming the same way men have no incentive to stop women’s body shaming. Would it be nice if we all stopped bullying each other, absolutely, but it’s not likely to happen. If you really care about male body shaming you should start with getting men to stop. Men make fun of other men’s height and sizes. Male directors and comedians make comedy based on male body shaming. It makes more sense to start with your own before starting with asking women to help.

Nothing as long as it doesn’t get annoying. If you’re the one guy friend in a group of mostly girls, you’ll likely be called on the most to help move things, fix things, carry things etc. Some guys may not like that.

I’m a bit different, but I definitely enjoy your insight. :)

Definitely. Opposite sex friends often give us the comfort and fulfilled roles that we look for in a partner, just without the sex. Very slippery slope.

Best comment I’ve seen by far. Men often don’t notice the trickery of female friends until it’s too late. Same with women who have men friends.

You have a good point about asking for things. A lot of single women will have their men friends doing favors for them that a partner would traditionally do. I used to do this and wouldn’t even realize it.

I think it just depends if on the type of girl you want. I’m more traditional, and I cut off most of my male “friends” already. I only have to one straight, male friend and he’s not a threat. So to me a guy with no female friends is a positive. If he does have one or two, I would be very mindful of that but it’s not a dealbreaker. If he has mostly female friends it’s a complete red flag to me. But if you’re looking for a different type of girl she may like it. It might make you seem safe and lik…

If your partner makes a little or a lot of money it can raise or lower your social status, but it doesn’t make you “lesser” than anyone. Your value as a person isn’t dependent on how much money you have.

Every relationship is different, but I can only speak on my experience. From what I’ve seen, women with low self esteem seem to beat down on themselves and sometimes other women. Men who have low self esteem seem to beat down on themselves and sometimes their woman. Also for me personally, I want a guy to lead. You have to have a certain level of confidence in order to lead properly. Doesn’t mean that you can’t have some insecurities, but an overall negative self esteem makes me feel less comfor…

How is he an incel if we’ve been married for years? What is your definition of incel because it seems different? I wouldn’t care much if a guy was very inexperienced. As a woman college student who has actually shifted slightly right, I definitely find it interesting. I think most college campuses encourage liberal ideas, more sexual freedom, and feminism which appeal to women. I think some men feel comfortable with more conservative/ right leaning ideals because men have more power there. Also some modern feminists are quite anti men/masculinity which is of course a turn off for men.

I live in the US in the south so it’s more common to say hello to strangers. I speak to most women easily if I’m in the mood, but only to men if they speak to me first. I always speak back though, whether I find them attractive or not because if you don’t it’s considered rude and suspicious here. But if he’s under like 25, I’m more likely to assume he’s speaking purely because he’s attracted. Older guys do this too, but older guys also just like to hear themselves talk more lol.

Lol that’s very much a reach. Modern feminism is definitely not centered around property and voting rights. And despite what the current narrative is pushing us to believe, we can’t just go changing definitions to suit our own personalities. Feminism vs. Femininity is actually such an important topic to me. It genuinely hurts me every time I hear a woman compare femininity to weakness. That’s a bit of a generalization, but I see your point. Him doing little tasks for you makes him feel good, even if you don’t necessarily need them. Why not make your partner feel good? If you look kinda plain in your frumpy pjs, it’s still nice it your partner tells you you’re beautiful even if you’re not the most attractive at that moment. It’s ok to do things to make your partner feel good. And men complaining is a whole different topic lol.

I did specify that you can still do the whole girl boss, independent thing and still show a man he’s needed. Even if you don’t want his help financially it’s nice to let him help in other ways which I listed some small examples. And you may not want to be romanced or treated like a princess, but many women do. So maybe my suggestions are better suited for them instead of you. That’s fine. You’re free to live as you choose.

Well I’m into more traditional relationships, also I’m not a feminist so a lot of women here don’t agree with some things I say. /r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 07:44 PM

Yes, many women are too independent. It’s more about mindset than anything. Everyone should be able to provide for themselves if needed as a life skill, but as a woman you have to let a man feel like the hero sometimes. Most men want to be needed to a certain degree. Protection and provision are innate in most of them. They want to help you. So many women want Prince Charming, but aren’t willing to ever be the damsel in distress. I never understand why some women want to be so hyper independent.…

/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 07:22 PM

Of course I don’t know your family life, but do you see this as a partial benefit at all? Your dad shouldn’t try to force you to be something you aren’t, but at least you’re learning the skills that attract men. As an adult you can choose if you want to actually use them or not. It’s the girls that grow up too independent and with a dad who gives them the needed male validation to think they’re perfect, who get shocked when they enter the dating scene and wonder why they can’t attract most men.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/09/22 06:59 PM
23

Not sure why people are surprised. Most men don’t want to think of their daughter as a sexual and romantic being who caters to men, the way they would want their wife to be. The same way some women want their son to be such a nice, sweet boy, but they prefer a more rugged partner. A daughter is often the first woman that some men will ever truly care about as a person, rather than as an asset to himself.

My post literally suggested nothing about men. And I’m definitely not projecting. Though I do agree with the implication that men do less work in 50/50 relationships, that was not the purpose of the presented topic. I can agree with an idea and not be discussing that idea at the same time. Sure the sub has a lot to do with contrasting gender roles and dating dynamics, but the purpose of this post is to focus on women which I did.
/r/PurplePillDebate07/09/22 07:48 AM

sigh It gets tiring patting men’s heads in comfort in order to make them not be so triggered when I’m talking about WOMEN. Too much projection is coming my way. I’m discussing women’s duties. Focusing mainly on the fact that women can’t have it all. I’m focusing on the fact that these 50/50 women are trying to do it all especially when it comes to work, and in turn they neglected their responsibility as a wife, mother, and homemaker. If you’re talking about cleanliness in 50/50 relationships, yes they need to communicate. But when things are supposed to be “equal” dad’s cleaning needs to be just as good as mom’s. Dad’s cooking needs to be just as good, hopefully healthy, and have as much effort put into it as mom’s. This doesn’t usually happen though and is unfair to the woman. As someone who used to have roommates in the early years of college, the one girl who didn’t meet our standard of clean was resented. That’s how many…

My original point had nothing to do with fatherhood. It was about women’s duties. You somehow changed the course and related it to men’s contributions and the topic of emotional labor. I then elaborated on why there is truth to the statement that women are primarily dealing with emotional labor. I never said men don’t have to do any emotional labor. Sounds like you’re projecting. Maybe my original comment struck a cord with you. I actually wasn’t thinking about men at all when I commented. My topic was women’s duties. Correct. If you’re flat broke of course everyone needs to work. But if a man is doing well financially, his wife should be able to stop working and focus on more domestic work, children, and femininity in order to keep a more balanced home. I’m not dismissing father’s contributions. A strong, active father is extremely important in the family structure. But I will say women do usually do more emotional labor. When something is wrong, kids run to mommy. Mommy usually thinks about when the next doctor/dentist appointments are and plans them. Mom usually decides on how to make or buys the snacks for kid’s activities at school etc. I’d say most kids have a closer emotional connection to mom due to the fact that she birthed them and she…

Sticking to gender roles does not mean a man does not learn to pick up after himself. Any adult human should know how to do basic cooking and cleaning. It’s just that in a more traditional relationship, it’s not his job to do these things as much as it is mine.

Yes, true. But as we’ve seen, men aren’t doing this is mass. Women know or will soon learn that when they sign up for “50/50” they won’t actually get that. That’s one of the reasons I believe in more traditional gender roles.

I believe men’s load should be different than ours. More traditional gender roles. But yes, some sort of balance is key.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/22 02:29 PM

Yes, but men never claimed they could. Men are actually more vocal about needing women and the benefits women bring in their everyday life imo. Think about how widowers more easily express wanting to get remarried because they want or need a woman to fill in for all the things his wife previously did. Feminism brought along the “women can have it all narrative.” Which imo most cannot.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/09/22 02:27 PM

Women are naturally more nurturing which is why it’s usually best for them to be the one who is primarily with the children. Also men’s bodies are made more for working, providing, and protecting which is why they have always had the provision role. People can make their own choices to an extent. My beliefs don’t prohibit anyone’s choice. Sadly I’m not the ruler of the world lol. I highly disagree. Do some men mature slower? Yes to an extent, but women their age aren’t preying on them. The rate of maturity is not so low that it’s predatory. Also, men often have more sexual and dating freedom while under 18. Parents are way more cautious of their daughters dating. An 18 year old man and woman are not usually at the same experience level due to that alone. That’s part of the reason I said women 18-21 are mainly just figuring themselves out. As someone in this age range who is currently seeing someone older (definitely not late 40s), mostly no in the early years. Turning 18 doesn’t suddenly transform you into a competent adult. Most of those first years, at least 18-21, are just about figuring yourself out. Most girls that age still act like they are in high school mentally imo. At our core, women tend to want to be desired and loved. Where as men tend to want to be respected and loved. I don’t feel desired if you’re saying I can just be with whoever and you don’t care. It makes it seem like I’m not that important to you. Also, men love sex and crave new partners more than women. So a GF saying he can sleep with someone else is a new sexual opportunity for the BF.

I date guys that a bit more traditional so there are lots of flaws to look out for. Super ego, misogynistic, weaponizing gender roles, lazy when it comes to domestic work, violence, “That’s how I was raised” attitude. Essentially, if I’m looking for a more masculine man, I’m likely to notice at least a few toxic masculinity traits. I can put up with a certain degree of some of these things, but nothing extreme.

It’s a slight reward for her. You get a small taste of what she is experiencing. It shows solidarity and love. Also you may treat her better after getting more hands on experience of what she is going through.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/22 09:21 PM
-1

That’s nice, but not everyone is like you. Some people find importance and love in solidarity. Some people even expect it. And asking your partner to put themselves in painful situations is not always abuse, though I understand your point.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/22 09:17 PM
1

That is a genuine concern. But men also have power of threat over women as well. Those issues would be better comparisons than birth.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/22 09:13 PM
1

I don’t think that’s an equivalent.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/22 09:11 PM

The pain in your heart for your wife is not the same as the physical pain she will endure before, during, and after birth. She might see it as a form of solidarity and love that you would decide to experience a taste of her pain.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/22 07:50 PM

Yeah, no. I’m not interested in going into an abortion debate so I won’t. But we’re talking about wives and GFs. We’re talking about couples who have decided they both want a child. When it comes to giving birth, there is nothing a man has to do that holds the same weight as what the woman will do.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/22 07:47 PM
-5

I don’t think you have to do all the same things, but you should both do things to balance things out. You work. I take care of the home. Balance. The issue is that there is nothing you can do to balance out what she is about to experience. So I can understand a woman saying she wants you to get a taste of what she has to do.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/22 05:33 PM
1

I get your point, but it’s just a very unbalanced situation. There is no way a guy can balance out the pain that the woman is going through. So the closest way he could is to go through that simulation. And even that isn’t truly equal, but it’s a start.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/22 05:31 PM

I’m not saying it should be a competition. I personally think it’s better for everyone to have specific roles. But relationships do have an aspect of “tit for tat” in a way. You go to work. I take care of the house. You cut the grass. I tend to the garden. With giving birth, there isn’t an equivalent that a man can do. So though I wouldn’t do it personally, I could understand why a girl would say “if I’m going to feel this, you should feel it too.”
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/22 05:28 PM
-7

Why would you have an issue with her demanding you do it? I’m assuming she’d just be saying if she has to do something hard, you do too. Also I want 4-6 kids. We’re out here lol.

That’s simply untrue. Women do empathize with men. But that doesn’t mean certain things aren’t a turn off. Like I said, if there’s a legitimate reason to cry then I’m completely understanding and don’t see him any less. But when it’s a dumb reason I can’t help but lose attraction. In my personal situation I still held, comforted, and listened to a man break down for about 15-20 minutes over something unnecessary. Even though I was losing interest on the inside, I was still empathetic and never t…

Yes. For women, I usually keep it in my head unless it’s a friend or someone I know I can be blunt with. I’d almost never say anything to a stranger unless they were going to be around children, elderly, or at a cultural/highly religious event. I’ve only had to do this once or twice and I did it nicely, but it was necessary. For men, definitely. I’m quick to call a guy a man whore. But I’m usually saying this to an attractive, player type man thats approaching me and that I want to reject. They …

That was not what I was trying to get across. I think men have a choice, but in fiction of course he chooses the choice that women would like. The same way women in fiction choose the choice that men like when the audience is majority men.

Irl it is a choice. A man can decide if he wants to settle down or continue to play the field. He’s an adult. No one is forcing him. It would only be control if maybe she’s hypnotizing, blackmailing, or doing some type of spell on him. Of course in a fantasy, yes, he’s always going to choose to settle down. But that’s how fantasies work. They are supposed to appeal to the audience. And even then he’s still choosing in the story.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/22 09:48 PM
3

I don’t think we’ll be able to come to an agreement on control vs. choice. Most women want men to choose to settle down, not have to force him to. It’s like the “I want flowers, but I don’t want to tell you I want flowers” thing. If I have to tell me you to get them, it doesn’t feel good. If you actively think about me and choose to get me flowers, it feels amazing. But the restraint/discipline trope is not the same as “taming the beast.” They are usually two very separate tropes and would be in…

That makes sense. Men get told to suck it up most of their life, so when women ask them to be vulnerable it’s pretty hard to do. I personally don’t ask for vulnerability unless it’s a situation that affects us both. I just let a guy know I’m here if he needs to talk about something serious. But would it be better for me to never allow vulnerability, allow vulnerability under certain conditions, or allow complete vulnerability and just keep the moments of loss of attraction to myself? In my previ…

I understand why you see it as control, but for the woman that is not what it’s about. We’re discussing the female gaze so try to focus on a women’s perspective. I’m not trying to force the “beast” to settle down. I want to be so beautiful and amazing to him that he chooses to settle down for me.

I understand. I do think the word misogyny is used too loosely. Though I believe the vanilla/freaky issue is more about a lack of empathy from the bf, but that’s another topic. But is this lack of attraction after showing vulnerability more of an internal fear? I see more women collectively asking for men to be vulnerable than not. I won’t lie and pretend I’ve never lost attraction to a man after he’s been vulnerable, but he was also crying over something stupid. At times when there was a legiti…

That is not about control. It’s about being special. No one could make him settle down but her.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/08/22 12:57 PM
17

No. We’re talking about the female gaze. What women are attracted to. Most women are not attracted to “controlling” you. But we do like a man with self control. A man is not a dog or a horse. He can control himself if he chooses to. And that is very attractive.

I’d say effort, restraint, and understanding. Effort is easy to understand. Do something. Picking flowers, building something with your hands, protecting her from danger. It shows you have skills and that you think about her when she’s not around. Restraint. Knowing that a man wants you but he has the discipline to wait. Discipline is truly one of the most attractive things in a man. It shows he has some standards. Women want to be seen as special. So you dating any and everyone, doesn’t make he…

If you’re into anime, watch Maid Sama. Seriously. It’s a great example. I personally don’t like the personality of the main female character, but the male protagonist, Usui, is many girl’s dream. They’re in high school but he’s essentially “high value” within the high school social scene. Attractive, strong, talented, mysterious, and can have any girl he wants. No i did not. But I have no issues with having standards or a list. I just don’t think it’s appropriate to list them off on a date. I understand that some men prefer bigger/smaller boobs and breasts. But almost all men prefer a smaller waist which is my point. That is the ideal shape for a woman no matter what her size is. And no men are saying they want a bald fat women with an apple shaped body or one of those shoulder fat girls. I think men are less picky about who they have sex with. A lot of guys will take whatever they can get. But their actual type, the women they actually want, usually have similar characteristics. I would be highly upset and disappointed. I would wonder where I went wrong as a parent, especially as a mother. I always hoped I’d teach my daughter things that I wasn’t taught. You are correct about women. Our bodies go in and out of style. The Kardashian era has been huge. Guys have all been wanting slim thick women, but in the early 2000s big butts were considered fat. The local barista is still attractive. Men, especially ones with money, don’t value money as much. A woman can work at Burger King and he’ll date her if she’s attractive. Men value attraction, that doesn’t mean they have low standards. And I think more high earning nerdy/awkward men are cool with a decent, slightly above average nice girl. I’m not very familiar with FDS, but from what I understand they try to use tactics similar to PP, but they are less feminine. They essentially want to attract quality, high paid men that have feminist mindsets. (Which is a very small group of men.) While PP understands that you can’t change men, so you might as well play into what men want (looks and femininity) in order to get a quality man. And you’re welcome :)

I guess you could say that. They are similar to the majority of RP. RP: “Women are selfish, but get your life together and here’s how you get what you want from them.” PP: “Men are selfish, but get your looks and femininity together and here’s how you get what you want from them.” Of course RP and PP both have many people who are focused on creating actual loving and positive long term relationships. Respectfully, that’s an excuse. 80% of men have been on more than one date in 40 years. I think you just need to work out whatever issue you have personally.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/08/22 08:07 AM

Maybe. I was thinking date as in number of outings not number of women. I might have misunderstood.

There really needs to be a change on both sides, but I honestly don’t know if we’ll get it. But like you said, a lot of men lack empathy and are very emotionally immature. And violence is obviously an absolute no. I think men can step up in these areas (and others) but the big issue is that their is no direct incentive. We have to remember that guys are more logical. Most of them need an actual goal. If a man has a woman he really wants, he will make adjustments to get her. She is the goal. But …

I think it depends on the woman honestly. I know of women who like “cute” guys. More boyish, soft, and sweet. And of course I know plenty women who like more “hot” guys. That depends on what their personal view of hot is, but usually equates to more masculine, protectiveness, etc. But overall it’s about balance for most people. I personally prefer more “hot” I guess. Not the chiseled look you described (I’m not into model like men at all), but still masculine and strong. But that balances with a…

That’s interesting actually. When I assess a guy’s height, I scan the top of his head but I actually focus on the eyes. How high I have to look up to meet his gaze plays a big part in my perception of him.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/08/22 04:07 PM
2

I do believe it has a lot to do with natural urge. Specifically men being wired to be protective. Women’s protectiveness is more innate when it comes to their children. And the possessiveness women have with men comes more from not wanting to lose him. Women needed men for the majority of history. No one wants their provider/protected stolen. I think neediness is a different topic. It’s more of an individual thing and it happens with men and women. In my experience, guys tend to be more needy wi…

I think you’re taking internet talk too close to heart. Most women probably couldn’t point out 6’3 on a doorframe. Recognizing someone’s exact height is harder irl especially when you’re smaller.

I agree. I think you should be as clear as possible. I’m sure it would be embarrassing if you asked a girl on a date and she thought it was just two friends hanging out. But ngl I have no idea what going Greek means. So I wouldn’t get the joke anyway lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/08/22 09:42 PM

A + B = perfection Example 1: “I know you like mysteries. We could go to that escape room downtown. It’ll be a fun date and we can grab food after.” Example 2: “I’d love to take you on a date. There’s a new Greek restaurant on 1st street. Would you like to go?” If you don’t use the word date, you’ll probably be fine with most people. Me personally, I’m gonna say, “Are you asking me on a date?” If you say anything outside of yes, my answer is no.

Some are insecure. Some have other reasons. I’ve made the decision to not have many straight male “friends” anymore. I prefer to date guys with zero to a small amount of straight female friends. Another girl in this sub mentioned that she didn’t have male friends at all outside of family, and she found it weird when guys had female friends. People are different.

You could try to catch her if she wanders of by herself for some reason. But yeah, I never try to get a guy’s attention when I’m with my friends. If I really want him that much, I’ll probably just come nearby him when others aren’t around.

This is true. It’s always better to meet people alone and spend time one on one. When you meet someone with a group of friends, you will first be judged on the gender of the friends. Then you will be judged on who is the most attractive in the group. For men in particular, you may be judged on if you are the leader in the group. Also, if you meet someone in a group their friends will most likely comment on if they think you’re worth it. If you’re dealing with a more easily influenced person, thi…

I understand, but you don’t have to be weird. Just be original. Or at least just don’t say the same exact thing as every other guy. It’s like when guys on dating apps talk about how much they love The Office. Decent show. Most people like it. But literally everyone knows about it. Unless the girl you’re talking to is the world’s biggest The Office fan, you’re not gonna stand out at all. Idk about this. People view this differently. Being around women will likely help you meet more women. That is a plus. On the other hand, it makes you look like a player/flirt, desperate, or gay IMO. Concluding that I only see you with groups of women and never any men to balance it out. Also just be careful. If you do end up with a girl you like, you being surrounded by women may be an issue for her. Y’all will have to decide if that is acceptable or not.

For men: Assuming. “I know you women do this/think this etc.” Self pity. Calling themselves ugly. 🥺 Energy Lying. Especially about small things that there was no need to lie about. Being lazy and especially thinking your laziness is cool or funny. Thinking they are the exception to the rule. Yes. One of the main ways that I judge a guy is on how he treats “weaker” creatures, such as women, children, and pets. Men who have unwarranted aggression towards women indicate insecurity of some kind. I wish we saw a greater push for positive masculinity. The current trend of ending toxic masculinity has moved towards trying to eliminate masculinity as a whole. This should be the opposite of what we want.
/r/PurplePillDebate08/08/22 04:28 PM
2

I’m not sure the current push for gentler men will make them chivalrous. I think it’s just making them more feminine. Chivalry has the balance of masculine traits, such as bravery, while also expressing gentleness with women. I don’t see this balance pushed now. It’s mostly just telling men to be vulnerable and stop toxic masculinity. There is no push for positive masculinity which is key in chivalry.

Don’t give up on what you want. We can’t let others discourage us from our goals. And discipline is one of the most attractive things in a man. The right girl will appreciate it. Good luck to you as well 💗

It’s quite controversial to be traditional now. I get attacked for it on Reddit daily. But irl it’s not as big of a deal. If someone doesn’t like it, they just tell me and we don’t talk anymore. No issues. Yes a traditional man will have to make a certain amount of money. But it’s not as big of an issue as people think IMO. And lol no I’m definitely not married. I’ve got time. Also I can be on Reddit between my chores. Same way you’re here while you should be working or whatever lol.

I didn’t say they easily could. I said that average men do get casual sex. The person that I was originally talking to actually linked my comment in one of the Daily Megathreads and asked the men in this very sub to respond. I used to think 50/50 was ok because that is what is normalized. I realized how stressful 50/50 is for families and how it negatively effects the children. I became traditional from seeing the 50/50 stress and how it ruins the family unit IMO. Both parents are stressed from full time work. Traditionally women have to do majority of cooking, cleaning, and emotional labor. Birthing and primarily raising children. Having to be supportive, feminine, agreeable, and keeping up looks. Also I understand I will have to give the man the most authority and he gets the last say on serious decisions. I am ok with all of this.

You concluded that from what exactly? I’m literally in a forum for debate. I’m well aware that most people disagree with my ideals on dating. Just because I’m firm in my own beliefs doesn’t mean I can’t see other perspectives. I’m just not changing my mind.

I understand what you’re saying, but I have no interest in that. I still think it unethical to essentially get people’s hopes up with a fake profile. Also I have no interest in dedicating a month or year of my life to this. It isn’t a topic of interest for me.

No thank you. I know how dating apps work though I don’t recommend them. And getting matches with random guys isn’t special. Many guys admit that they swipe on everyone and then decide based on who they match. So the results are flawed. Also most men are looking for sex. Most women are looking for relationships. So if 100 guys match with a girl for sex, that still isn’t beneficial for her because that’s not what she is looking for.

Usually 3+ But I also live in the US in the south. People are more open to making small talk with strangers. Mostly girls or women complementing my outfit. I like to dress nicely. Men compliment my outfits too sometimes. Mainly because I often where dresses which isn’t everyday wear to most people. Traditional relationships do work when people want them. Traditional men and women get into relationships all the time. It may not be for you, but it’s great for those of us who like them. I can’t make myself approachable enough where you don’t feel like a creep. If you’re insecure or lack confidence there is nothing I can do about that. Well hopefully they are asking for sex using a complete sentence. And yes they will actually have to flirt and try to entice a woman. Women don’t just fall out of the sky and into their bed. But lots of women are looking for casual sex. So if they make that known, they are more likely to meet those types of women and waste less time and resources on girls who want more.

Attractive women have it easy. Average and ugly women have it harder. Just because you can’t empathize with women because of your own dating issues, does not mean women do not having issues in dating.

Stop projecting. I am a woman. I said it needs work on both sides. No need to be intentionally negative. Everyone should have standards. Now if your standards are ridiculous you can’t be upset if you’re alone. But some healthy reasonable standards should be for everyone. Men and women need to do better. I said harder. That means hard but not as hard as it could be. And the question is about women not men so I was talking about women’s POV. I’m sure finding a date is harder for men with standards…

A relationship shouldn’t be a burden, but you have to make adjustments for your partner’s needs. If you can’t handle it then maybe that relationship isn’t for you. My last relationship was with a guy who was really outgoing. I am more introverted and prefer to be alone with people I like. He loved to hang out with his friends. A lot of guys will give women dating advice that only serves men. You have to use your own judgment when taking advice from others for sure. I’ll never understand how people can waste other’s time and resources. People are so selfish. In dating you have to have boundaries and know what you want. But you also have to understand that other people have wants too. They deserve a true shot at love same as you.

I have no idea. He was probably just trying to insert his opinion on my life. Not that I care lol.

Relationships have ups and downs. Ultimately it should be positive, but you still have to make sacrifices sometimes when you love someone. That’s ok.

It probably wasn’t even 1-2 a week. If she was that upset to break up with him. I think he could take her back if he liked her more than he dislikes her impatience. When you care about someone, you’ll have to put up with a few things you may not love. But ultimately you decide what’s a dealbreaker or not. I wouldn’t blame him if he didn’t want her back.

If I have little knowledge, don’t listen to me. I know what I know. You know what you know. And you don’t see the problem with talking to someone for weeks without asking them on a date? Also, I don’t believe in asking men out so personally I can’t do that. Other girls can if they want.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/22 06:16 PM

Nah. We’re in the age of casual sex and talking stages. A lot of people will have sex with any girl anytime. Some people don’t see the point in dating when they can just have sex. Of course decent guys still ask women out, but plenty of trash guys will feel fine talking to you for weeks before taking you on a date. Lots of guys date while broke or cheap so they aren’t going to just go on dates with just anyone. Their dream girl will likely get a date, but most women aren’t his dream girl so he i…

Because getting sex from men is easy. Most of the time you just have to look decent and talk to a guy and he’ll be willing to have sex with you. For a date, you traditionally have to wait for him to ask you.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/22 05:29 PM

We don’t know how often they saw each other. I highly doubt it was 3-4 times a week which you just made up. I think you just enjoy calling a woman an idiot. Yes relationships mean compromise, but people choose what they compromise on. If she needs to see him more often and he can’t provide that, they weren’t gonna work.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/22 05:26 PM

That’s sad, but if it’s casual sex with another person who wants casual sex I understand.

The guy said that hair that long is me making a statement. I’m not sure what kind of statement that would make. I just like long hair, and I think I would look so pretty. If a guy sees that as a red flag, he’s free to go lol.
/r/PurplePillDebate06/08/22 05:19 PM

You’re reaching a bit. I know what shallow means, but that isn’t important in reference to this story. Jessica isn’t an idiot. She’s just impatient. If she’s not spending enough time with her bf, she isn’t happy. That’s not uncommon. Yes, maybe she should have took more time to think about her decision, but ultimately she left because of lack of compatibility in quality time needed. Not because she thought Zack was a bad guy. And just because a problem is trivial to you, doesn’t make it trivial …

Dating now is mediocre IMO. It needs work from both sides. People need to be more intentional and upfront about what they want. You need to be considerate of other’s time and resources. If you want to casually date, state that and don’t entertain people looking for something serious. If you’re looking for something serious, stop being afraid of scaring people off. Have standards. Everyone should have standards. And a lot of people don’t. Or they do and they don’t stand firm on them. I think most…

You should definitely put some work in and try for your health. It’s your choice though. But at least do it if you choose to have children. You don’t want to create an unhealthy relationship with food for them.

Interesting. I would also find it rude if someone went on social media while on a date with me. But I don’t mind if you need to check your phone. If mine goes of, I’m definitely gonna check in case it’s family. After that, just flip it back over.

I’m more traditional in relationships. I have some controversial views. I’d ideally like 4-6 children. I’m introverted. I will hangout with your friend group because I care about you, but I’m definitely not the life of the party type. I plan on growing my hair to waist length in a few years. (Someone here told me that’s a red flag. Thoughts on this?)

She doesn’t even sound shallow though. She’s just impatient. That may mean you’re not compatible. Why are you dreaming up revenge stories for someone who didn’t even do anything harmful to you?

I expect men to make quick decisions, have more confidence, and do more labor if it needs to be done. I also expect normal chivalrous acts such as opening doors and carrying things. I expect women around me to be nicer overall than men. Or at least to pretend to be nice. I expect better conversation from women. I definitely expect more neatness in women (except for with their cars which are notoriously messy, men almost always have clean cars). These are just basic standards to me, but both gend…

I don’t. I almost did around age 14-15 because of my rough cycle, but my mother declined. Then I was pushed again by doctors around 17-18. I wasn’t interested. I was surprised how much they tried to pressure me into it. Such a red flag. I never plan on taking it.

Because everyone is the hero in their own story. If you ask a man, he’ll say that women aren’t understanding and think less of him when he cries. He’s good. She’s bad. If you ask a woman, she’ll say she wants the guy to be vulnerable, but he has too much toxic masculinity to do so. She’s good. He’s bad. Both are generalizations. Both are probably lying to an extent. Everyone wants to be seen as the good guy.

I get that. I’ve definitely met girls like this. But the majority of alpha women that I run into personally are more into being muscular. It won’t be easy for you, but there is definitely a whole genre of girls exactly your type. I’d suggest going for alpha women instead of muscle girls first. I know you want both, but the personality is more important in your situation I think. Plus a girl can more easily transition into wanting to build muscle than transitioning into wanting to be an alpha.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/22 09:24 PM

I don’t really see your issue. You say you are attracted to more tall, muscular women. With your submissive personality you’ll need a more dominant or “alpha” woman. The same way that most women don’t want you, most guys don’t want your ideal woman. There are less of you, but you’re both in similar situations looking for each other. It’ll be harder to find, but when you do it’ll be a perfect match.

I think 50/50 relationships are usually unequal for the woman, lessen masculinity in men, and promote stress. In theory everything is split down the middle, but irl the woman is stuck with the majority of the housework and has to birth the children on top of having a job. She’s contributing way more and gaining nothing IMO. That amount of stress also makes her less feminine and agreeable for her man, and she is likely to lose respect for him eventually. Traditional relationships give more separa…

Plenty of girls only have sex in relationships. It’s a great thing. But why are you waiting 6 months to decide if she’s your girl? Sounds like you just want to waste time so you can do whatever you want without commitment.

I’m my experience the guy pays for everything. It makes me more attracted to him. And I’m always grateful and appreciative In my last relationship I only bought small things like snacks. Even then I’d do it before he came around because he wouldn’t let me if he saw. I do buy gifts and things for like a birthday of course. If a guy wanted to split the bill that would make me think he isn’t that interested, he’s cheap, or he’s into 50/50 relationships which I’m not. If I offer to split the bill on…

Your second paragraph is correct. That’s essentially what I mean. But I meant “Don’t date potential” I’d more clear because a lot of women literally rave about a guy’s potential only to end up disappointed. So if I want to address those women, I am going to clearly use the word potential. And again, I do believe that getting a guy at his peak is the best strategy. Don’t build with him. Let him come to you when he’s already built. If someone mistook my advice to mean that I honestly wouldn’t mind…

I don’t care if you criticize me or not. I wasn’t asking for critics though, so don’t be upset that I don’t care about your opinion. I purposely said my statement in a blunt or “harsh” way in order to target women. I don’t see a need to adjust it. Simple.
/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/22 04:03 PM

Why are you trying to make me change my words? I said what I said for a reason. I even explained what I meant and why. If you don’t like it, I don’t care. It’s for women.

No, thank you. Again, my advice is for women. I am saying what women need to hear. We always talk highly of a man’s potential. That’s why I purposely chose that word. To relate to women.

Yeah I’m not sure exactly what’s the issue since idk either of you. I will say the laid back attitude most guys have can seem more like lazy or nonchalant to us so that may be the issue.

Sorry to hear. Yeah she kinda set herself up for that. She should have never continued dating you if she expected more from you and you weren’t changing. But at the same token, as a guy you should expect that women want to see you do more. We want you to be ambitious. And we really want to look up to you. Most of y’all let us down. That’s why I say don’t get your hopes up in the first place and date what’s right in front of you. But people don’t listen to me lol.

You can date an early 20s guy if he’s already on try to be the person he wants to be. He wants to be a business owner. Great. Does he have a side hustle? Can he sell a candy bar? Is he even good with money? If not, you’re betting on potential which is stupid. And lots of people do believe in only dating guys at their peak. I actually think it’s the best dating strategy as well, but it’s harder to find. Most people will never reach their biggest goals anyway. That’s why my version of the advice w…

Men being feminine will make you more concerned about women’s issues such as being accepting of abortion and less toxic masculinity. Some girls do like those soft, nail painting guys, but the majority of people telling you to be feminine just want you to empathize. They have a point, but they go about it wrong IMO. Women should complain about aggressiveness in men when it’s towards us. That’s unacceptable. When it’s towards other men, idk. But ultimately most women still want you to be a protect…
