My mother beat me with a plastic and metal flyswatter when I didn't do my homework...drew blood a few times. She hid the phone books whenever I went searching for the number to call for child abuse. :/

i don't mind guys spreading their legs apart, just not at a full 90 degree angle or wider. it's disrespectful to the people who wish to have a place to sit.

some women do think like that. i used to, but have since learned differently. it was mainly due to my own depression and anxiety.

i know. i knew several guys who were abusive assholes. what i still want to know is why some people have such a hard time believing women are capable of being abusive and crazy. i had a thought that maybe it was kind of like the way people look at racism? but, who knows...

female here. i was introduced to this subreddit by my boyfriend, who discovered it a few months ago. he was fairly outraged by all the stories and articles posted which caused me to look into it as well. always hearing about women's rights stories, i naturally didn't think anything about men's rights because i figured it wasn't a problem, because i never heard/saw anything about it. it made me outraged as well! hearing about the ways men are treated and how they are blamed for so many things, i …
