For my fellow apartment dwellers: You don’t have to allow Maintence in for non emergencies and they also have to give about 24 hour notice before entering (depending on stage) so that you’d have time to leave out if needed. You can stay in separate rooms until they’re finished their work or have a family/friend over to limit small talk. Online dating should have a certain level of visibility. If you VET correctly, you wouldn’t bring anyone dangerous around your children. It’s much more disappointing to match with a person only to find out that they’ve blocked you after finding out that you have children. Personally, I’ve been manipulated before by a guy who hid his children and I rather not waste my time.

Went on a date, I was dolled up and the guy had a grandpa sweater and dingy sneakers. To top it off his armpits made me gag whenever the wind blew slightly my way. Had to sit and think, why does he deserve to be in my presence when he looks and smell like this. Sayonara.

I believed this before too, until I realized I never felt like a lady with nerdy men. They lack confidence and it feels like I have to lead in the relationship. They also put less effort into their looks and hygiene. It’s nice to have similar interests but that’s not all a relationship is about, Feels like dating a friend.
