No worries! It’s just one of those phrases people often get wrong (including me until recently when someone pointed it out), and it’s always cool to learn something new like that! 👍

Totally agree with everything you just said. Just an FYI though - it’s “kid gloves”. They’re soft leather gloves made from the leather of a young goat “a kid”. 👍🏻👍🏼👍🏽👍🏾👍🏿

OMG ha! It’s WAAAY too late for you to try back-tracking and trying to look ‘cool’ now buddy. “Pfft, nah man I’m just like, pffffft chillin’....you know?”. Do you even know what ‘incel’ means or is just something you’ve heard other people use? Don’t answer that, I’m just going to block you. For two reasons really: 1) because I have better things to do, like punching myself repeatedly in the face, and 2) because I know it will piss you off immeasurably, knowing that whatever comeback you try and …

Good god. Yes, that’s the point I was referring to. Well done, you’re so clever and witty. You’re really making a difference. Just in case - I’m being sarcastic. The ironic thing is; the only person that sounds dumb, lonely, unloved and sexually frustrated, is you.

Soooo... not going to address any of the actual points in the argument then?

When you know they’re right, so you point out minor grammatical issues, instead of addressing the actual point, which only serves to show everyone else just how right they really were.

Thanks a lot for that. Sounds... fucked. Thankfully no, I don’t know how it is, which I’m very thankful for - but I can imagine.

I don’t disagree - just pointing out that neither of the two users involved in this little back and fourth actually had a burden of proof. Absolutely the OP does though. I kind of meant ‘article’ to mean the ‘Reddit article’ but yes, you’re correct there, too.

There’s WAY too little information for me to make an I formed judgement on this. Going PURELY from what’s in the picture - that’s horrible. But I can’t say anything about the man himself because there’s nothing else to go on.

Just to point out - neither of you have actually made any claims. So there’s no burden of proof. If you actually say the article is false, you need to prove it. If you say the article is true, you need to prove it. If you say you believe it, then you believe it and that’s that. After that, it’s just a discussion over WHY you believe it.

There must be some way of reporting her? Just invert the language someone like her would probably use to report every man she’s ever encountered about how she’s sexist, promotes violence against men and perpetuates stereotypes that women are the weaker sex yadda yadda. /s - don’t actually report her. Immediately hate every fibre of her being, but I’m not going to try and silence someone for saying shit I don’t agree with. Regardless how fucking retarded they are.

As I pointed out the OP’s irrational attack on my comment, I wasn’t claiming that it wasn’t true, I was just saying the source doesn’t exactly have a history of being credible. I even said that I was going along the path of being immediately outraged, but when I read the article, there was nothing to separate that from an article that was entirely made up. Not saying it WAS made up.

Hey man. How about you go fuck yourself. I was just pointing out that the source doesn’t exactly have a history of being credible. I wasn’t saying that it wasn’t true or that I’m some kind of white knight. Hence the “I want to be immediately outraged” comment, fuckweed
/r/MensRights12/12/18 09:28 PM

Hmm, I want to be immediately outraged, but for one - it’s The Mirror, and secondly I can’t see anything in the article that makes me believe any of it ever took place.

The whole justice system is based on the idea that it’s better for a guilty person to go free than for an innocent person to go to jail. Hence ‘innocent until proven guilty’ beyond any reasonable doubt. Even if everything points to one person, if there’s any shadow of a doubt, it’s not worth the risk of incarcerating someone who’s innocent.

Okidoke. I honestly cant think of any of those articles you’re talking about right now but I’ll take your word for it (not being facetious). Maybe on websites geared around men’s rights etc but not in the mainstream like BBC et al, but i could be wrong. I see (and concede) your point about the article’s intention, so that’s fine. I would just make one last observation that the constant articles on how bad women have it through laser-focussing on specific sub-categories of data (however relevant …

When you say “male victims of murder are the subject of dozens of articles every day”, you don’t surely mean articles about the worrying amount of men that are murdered every year, do you? Do you mean articles covering single instances of a man that has been murdered? The difference being that attention and publicity is very rarely given to the issue of the amount of men that are murdered every year. Conversely, publicity and attention is very often given to the amount of women murdered every ye…

I see what you’re trying to say - that, were the tables turned, it would be seen as one of the sickest discussions of the generation and would attract outrage (as it should, as they BOTH should), but yeah.... saying ‘you hope it happens to them’ is just doing what they’re doing - laughing at something grossly barbaric.

I’d have thought the most traumatic thing about it was having the kind of parents that are ok with cutting off a piece of yourself before you can have any kind of input on the decision.

Yeah i know about the hygiene thing but thought that people knew it wasn’t true - when you ask at the hospital (if this is indeed how it works), are they supposed to give you the facts?

What the fuck would the ‘non-religious reason’ be for the genital mutilation of a baby boy (circumcision)??? Religious reason or not it’s fucked up, but why the fuck would you do it for no reason (since, as far as I’m aware, the bullshit religious aspect is the only reason to do it)??
