The truth, tell the mom you are genuinely concerned with the daughter's mental health and well being because blah, blah, blah behavior. Talk in layers, go deeper by revealing things like you don't really want to but can't really hold them in, this will make the person interested and not make you look like a guy who's just ranting because. I believe in this case it's easier to separate them. If not you would need to actually do something if a couple is breaking the rule, which means making noise and waking up others.

I would think it's also because people want to sleep. Turning a capsule hotel into a love hotel would be bad for both audiences: the ones who want to have sex, and the ones who want to sleep.

For once: hence Feminism tries to remove male privilege and female disadvantage, but does nothing to combat Female privilege nor male disadvantage, I believe the second part is not entirely conscious, I think many don't even realize but take it for granted. Normally it takes little analysis to find out what bothers you, but a lot more to find what is not bothering you, but still is wrong. Same reason why I believe the two movements should act in parallel, but never unite nor fuse. Biologically/s…

Completely agree with you, and applaud your persistence. It's not really patriarchy, it's basically the byproduct of a flawed and outdated social system..... but they perceive that damage as coming from something that they call "patriarchy"... that is why I said "what they call "patriarchy"". Why? I don't say it exists as they claim it. I believe its something else. It's not a male attack to demote women or a conscious male dominated movement (that is why I use the "")... I believe its just that we are now realizing things are not optimal for everyone, as we still assume old concepts and notions about genders. It affects both groups, and focusing forces on hating the radicals on each other's group doesn't do shit for anyone's progress. --Also, hippy-dippy.. what is that supposed to m…

I should be "marrying" for love and if I do it will ALWAYS work out no matter what. From that I normally just laugh in their faces. All my cousins and many of my friends are like that. They always preach about unconditional love and the blue prince.. afterwards they end up in bad marriages crying over why they can't make it work, then things get violent (emotionally or physically)... then they divorce, and the cycle continues. True, I've found that declaring your intentions (not explicitly of course) by being proactive in the relationship leads to better results, BUT it also leads to her not being as expressive and free as when you're in the friend zone, which may cause an ugly surprise afterwards.

IMO it depends on the approach you take on what constant means. Time, space and maybe gravity, are dependent on each other and on multiple other factors. This means that at any given time any measurements you make are plausibly going to change on the next one, the difference being that in social sciences the variability is much greater. Depending on the scope and your tolerance on what isolated variables can be defined as constant, you could or couldn't define social sciences as being part of th…

The thing is that it is unsustainable to generalize "Its better/worse for A to carry B". When talking about genders most people don't realize we are actually talking about relationships (being platonic or not), and every relationship is extremely case-specific in terms of optimal outcome.

LOL.... I don't know if to feel honoured or ashamed. My comment was aiming for an advocacy of the more for the marginal segment (16-18) than the target (12yro). Anyone who thinks dating 12yro girls when you are over 18 is OK doesn't follow the standard rule (X/2+7), and thus is not right. "An older man who sleeps with an underage girl isn't a prince, he's a rapist." That said, I complain because if I was 19 and my GF 17, I automatically fall under the rapist category, there should be a standard …

That is basically all South America, men still have the notion they are in "power" regardless of what anyone would say, and that that power comes from a natural order/ divine or something. So when they are insulted, they don't really know how to respond, because these are not recognized as attacks. Women dominate a large part of society, before inside the house, now in the workplace. Men are just nodding and saying they are still in control, patting themselves in the back while drinking among th…

We can orgasm without ejaculation... but it actually takes an enormous amount of training and concentration to do so, or at least enough to make sex less enjoyable.

Also: it’s allowed men the option to be stay-at-home dads and thus nurture their relationships with their children; This status of the "stay-at-home dads" was actually a byproduct of creating a women working force, someone had to take the missing spots. That is why it is not seen as socially acceptable for a dad to be the housekeeper, but it is for the woman to be the provider.

Call it the Gender Equality Law Student Association at my school. Being that the Women's Law Student Association already exists, all your matters should then focus on Men's Rights. If they complain about the content, just say there is a whole club which already deals with women's rights, therefore more effort is redundant.

I always try to go for the original meaning. I find it semantically weird that governments fight separation of a smaller group from a larger group by making them more different. * “Although the term "discrimination" has negative (e.g. racist, sexist) connotations in common usage, the meaning of the word "discrimination" (from the Latin word discriminatio, "a distinction") is neutral.*

These are all half truths, in an ideal situation things would come up like that, like the "don't taxing the rich will provide more jobs" logic, it works but mainly on paper. The standard figures are normally really skewed into sensationalist propaganda. You can just start asking questions into the logic of them like you have never heard of them before. I specially like the "1 in 4 women will be raped", it uses a generalization which might be true or not (I have no idea really), but is used ultimately to scare people. example:In city A 100% of the people are raped, in City B 0.01% are raped = On average around half of the people will be raped. But that doesn't mean t…

1 in 8 might be an average but it has to be correlated with many other determinant factors like location, income, education, etc. There are areas where the conditions actually skew the data tremendously, it might be 1 in 2 in a slum but 1 in 5000 in the CBD, so not everyone should live in fear of being raped. The number is just meant to scare, nothing else.

Same here. For the first 16 years of my life I saw my father come from work and go to sleep every day except Sundays when he slept. When we talked it was normally to punish me for something I did. Explore a bit around Reddit on the current opinion of most media and women about the Men's Rights Movement.
