For a long time, before FDS, I struggled with depression and solitude. At some point I got tired of the depression and got formally diagnosed. I ended up also being diagnosed with anxiety as well, but I was lucky that I found a medication that works reasonably well for me. On top of this, I make sure to do one productive and one creative thing a day outside of work. It doesn't have to be much. I communicate once, act once, and then quit. I don't give second chances after a break up either. I used to communicate non-stop, but now I just don't have the time to feel sad about their inaction.
