Because for centuries the very people who got to decide what kind of conduct was and wasn't "abusive" were the perps. This is why the separation of church and state is so important. Routine infant male circumcision is a lingering vestige of Abrahamic monotheist dogma trying to justify it's existence with secular ad hoc BS.

Carnism and toxic masculinity go hand-in-hand. It's telling that these "men" don't see anything amiss with an entire industry that confines and commodifies sentient female animals in order to hijack their reproductive systems for profit.

"He was, like, using all these words and stuff, like, to try to convince us he wasn't guilty. He was like, doing pretty good at it, too. Like, because I was actually starting to think he wasn't, like, guilty, or anything. You know? So, like, he must be guilty."

I always thought that racism/sexism was rendering judgment on an argument not on the basis of the merits of the arguement, but on the race/sex of the person making the argument. To say that a person cannot be racist/sexist simply because of their race/sex IS a sexist/racist statement, and the person making that argument is a racist/sexist.

IN THE SAME WEEK A WOMAN WAS ARRESTED FOR HIDING THE BODIES OF 6 DEAD INFANTS IN A STORAGE LOCKER.

Your numbers make some implications. 1/25 = 0.04 So, by extension, you imply that only men are sociopaths, and that all sociopaths are all predators, therefore there are no female predators. Does that seem correct to you?

Oh, that's right, it's ok to generalize as long as you're Anti-Feminist/Anti-Women Once again, you are the one generalizing with such sweeping statements. That comment you ask about directly referenced the context, i.e. It was really brave of that woman to repeatedly assault him, harass him, and then lie to the police... Woman, in the singular. And yet you make the projection that this disdain for this bitch encompasses all women. You seem to be appealing to this community to engage in more dipl…

And how does any of that relate to the lying, violent, paranoid bitch who is the subject of this discussion? Furthermore, do you realize that by going out of your way to make this distinction you recommend, you'd be implicitly generalizing women as feigning phonies?

I think you misunderstand what 'vitriol' is. Satire and sarcasm aren't vitriol. And could you please explain which of these comments exhibited "contempt for woman suffering", and how? And just for the record, I'm neither MRA nor feminist.

You're missing my point entirely. I don't care how much of a Heinlein fanboy you are. Why do you think it is productive to state a quote like "Violence has settled more issues in history than other factor, and the contrary opinion is wishful thinking at its worst." in this context? Do you mean to imply that might-makes-right? Are you suggesting MRAs aught to advance their cause by violent means? Because that sure is what it seems like.

You do realize that the fictional society of Earth in Starship Troopers was overtly fascist, right?

The decision to continue a pregnancy, once it starts is in the hands of the person who carries the fetus. Yes, I agree. But that wasn't the question I asked.

So by this logic, simply having sex requires the consent of both parties, but the decision to raise a child is solely the choice of the female? Is this your position?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
