This is why Poland's birth rate is sooooo low. In most countries it's just women opting out of motherhood. But here's it both women AND men finding childbearing to be way too risky. Poland's family court system makes the ones in the West look like male safe havens. It's both humiliating and degrading for the man involved. And the parody of it is that it doesn't benefit anyone because Polish men have every incentive under the sky to abandon their biological child. So either they do that, or worse…

A large number of men have zero guy friends so I agree that this stat is flat out false. My last guy friend went with me to middle school.

Tbh, I'm closest to my FWB because of how sex made us so open to each other. We both acknowledged that it's awkward to spend so much together and ignore the sexual tension.

It's frustrating because I realized I get your point and can't/don't want to (for privacy reasons) prove my story to you. You don't have to believe me. But that's how it is.

The fact that I've managed to get so many girls despite serious sexual problems merely advances my point.

Well, being in a DB is a totally different topic.

I agree 100%. I've always been obese and have a very asymmetrical face. I also hate driving, don't own a car, and have a shitty job (teacher.) Despite all that, I've never had a problem on dating apps or attracting interest in real life. I had 3 serious girlfriends before marrying my current wife. I'll add that my wife and exes are all a couple of leagues away from me. My only cheatcode is being 185 cm which is slightly above average in my country. So I sympathize with short kings that can't fin…

Realistically that's less than 1% of men so I can't agree with it. Look, my youngest brother has autism. He's highly functional but very socially awkward. He realized his predicament and put all his energy into learning Spanish. He's now constantly on and off with partners from South America. Yes, he will forget struggle with a long term relationship or marriage. But he's had far more relationships than me (though I married young) and is generally a happy person.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/25 06:04 AM

I strongly disagree. Instead, we should emphasize that relationships are often determined by status, wealth, looks, and other factors. In fact, this would be an excellent motivator for boys as they're struggling in academics compared to girls. I'm obese, have maybe average looks, only have a BA, work as a teacher, and don't drive BUT I got married at 24 yo because I decided to teach English in Russia for a year and in this time I fell in love and decided to settle in Kazakhstan with her. Would I…

Come on. You will literally never hear such opinions outside the internet. In fact, the woman will be the one criticized in her family and social circles if her partner is an underachiever or if the gap is really wide. Age gaps have been a documented practice since ancient times. Women have a limited time frame to reproduce while men do not so this biological element alone justifies the phenomenon. What's actually criticized are age gaps between older women and younger men. I briefly dated a gir…

Not sure why. I 100% agree with his rule.

Well, we did it for our own comfort and safety as well. Teenage girls are known to flirt with teachers as a way to build rapport and ensure they get better grades. They do it (usually) without romantic intentions, it's purely to gain an edge in school. It's important not to allow this to happen and ensure everyone gets equal treatment.

I stress that it's important for men to avoid putting themselves in such situations. I'm a teacher so I know the precautions I have to take. I am always careful not he alone with a girl student in a class and I don't do any 1on1 tutoring.

I happen to agree with women that are suspicious of men. I totally get where they're coming from. I see myself as being a good person but I understand why anyone would be hesitant to approach me. It's just something men deal with.

It's a mental thing that's hard to explain. I just don't like other men. They have nothing to offer me and can potentially do me harm. So why should I befriend one?

But I don't get this. Are you saying it would be good for wife if I started hanging out with another woman and sharing all my emotions and time with her?
/r/PurplePillDebate07/11/25 07:08 PM

Well, for me having a platonic friendship with a woman is just not viable. How can I hang out with a woman and not expect my wife to be suspicious about my intentions?

I had friends as a kid but we all went our separate ways after high school. In college I never managed to bond with any of my roommates. And it's the same now in my job.

What's the correlation of the two?

I don't need or want friends.

But the idea is that men don't want guy friends. They don't offer anything for us and can often be a burden.

But I don't see it as a problem.

Well, coworker was my word. She specifically called everyone a "friend" which is what got me thinking.

Well, I'm not a sociologist so my own perspective along with other posts are the only way I can interpret the social environment.

It's about the numerous men and women I see online that don't seem to understand how men and women view friendship differently.

Your comment highlights something even deeper because making a friend is one thing but sharing deep things with them is an entire seperate struggle.

For what it's worth I'm Catholic but I just go to church to make my family happy and to give money to the Priest. I view other people in church the same way way I view my colleagues at work.

But what's the point of that if I already have 3 close men in my lives? In fact, I realized I don't spend enough time with them so some other man would be a burden on my existing relationships. What could I possibly discuss with some other guy that I don't want to discuss with my family members? I have reddit if I want to ask or talk about "other" things.

I'm saying I see no need to introduce a guy that I'll form a close connection with into my life.

But I never said I was lonely. In addition to my wife I have two brothers and my dad. What's the point of spending time with some other guy? Like, what would I even do with him or talk about?- that's the question that I can't answer.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
