This EXACT thing happened to me, my roommate brought home a guy off Tinder for sex she had just met right after their dinner date (I was out of town) and then got pissed at me when I told her I was very uncomfortable with strange men spending the night in the house, even if I wasn't there. She was so offended, saying "I'm not dumb, I wouldn't let a dangerous guy in the house" as if you can tell after LESS THAN A DAY with this strange man. So glad I live alone and in peace now.

I have tried to talk to my college going cousins about this because they keep dating loser LVM and their self esteem takes a hit when these bozos just want sex and no relationship, but they laugh at me and call me picky when I tell them not to settle for coffee dates and to expect high effort courtship / dating 😮‍💨

This and also saying how another man will just fuck his ex harder. It's not another man fucking your ex, Kim has the freedom to be in any relationship she chooses. She's not a fleshlight ffs

Someone needs to tell the woman at the end to get off Tinder and get onto FDS!

LMAO that's the biggest red flag right there! Plus the rushed emotional intimacy after one meeting. This guy's a master manipulator.

If men are jealous that women get tampons, instead of limiting the tampons women can get, they should give men the same amount of tampons to be equal. And let the men shove it up their ass, what else are they gonna do with them?

That is marginally better than what a guy I knew said, that girls become women after they lose their virginity to a man 🤮

The difference between LV and HV gift giving is crazy! My HVM cousin got his sister fancy streetwear sneakers this year, he didn't know her shoe size so he went to her place while she was out to check her shoes in the closet to check her size and see what colors she wears. And the year before he got her a big photo coffee table book of her favorite A24 movie. He's still young & in college and doesn't have a GF yet, but he's so sweet and insanely respectful to everyone, I know he'll be a great pa…

I don't know about that, I've definitely had girl friends who have the mindset of "as long as he wants me, I'll always stay with him" and get stringed along forever by guys who want to waste their time.

They do this SO OFTEN! I was ranting about it to my younger cousin, she later tried Hinge for a week and texted me saying she now understands why I get so annoyed at these weirdos.

Oh god she's 26! I was the same age (23) when I realized what a loser my ex LVM and ditched him. 8 year age gap there, wasted 3 years of my youth 😬

The first N in DENNIS is the most important step - nurturing dependence. If you're an independent woman mentally, emotionally, financially, and socially, then it doesn't matter if a seemingly HVM enters and then exits your life - you won't chase him because you don't depend on him for anything. This is why FDS is always saying how important it is to focus on yourself and learn to be happy by yourself BEFORE adding a romantic partner to the mix. This way an abusive LVM can't wiggle his way into t…

I'm sure they'd suddenly understand if their wives said they want to peg them with a strapon in their sleep 🙄 "you're asleep, you won't feel it anyway!"

It makes me sick go my stomach, my aunt was taking care of her two kids and battling stage 4 cancer while her husband (who works from home) fucked off to another country for years (cheating with another "wife"). She passed away last year and he had to come back to the US to take care of the kids and complains how difficult it is (still WFH) and 6 months later my grandma and mom are living with the kids to take care of them while he's fucked back off to the other country to be with his new wife 🙄…

What is the deal with Distant Daves??? An ego boost? So many guys have my state set as theirs and then after a few days of chatting they admit they actually live hundreds of miles away!

Is there any way for women passengers on rideshare apps to select only women drivers? I always get skeeved out when I have to take an Uber and my driver is a man, especially if I have a really early or late flight to catch and the roads are super empty.

My mom is always pressuring me to settle down and get married especially since I turned 30. Yet she (and my grandma) have spent more of life divorced / widowed and never remarried or got into another relationship. When I ask why they don't find another husband for themselves, they say it's not worth it to put up with a man. Yet they still expect me to?? 🙄 the societal brainwashing runs deep in them.

I love this! People always say you don't know true love until you've have children, but I disagree. Everyone is capable of giving true love to their friends, family, etc. It's just really difficult to love someone unconditionally, but it's not impossible and you definitely don't need kids to be able to do it!

Oh my god, the way he said "a lot of men, sure, but not all men!" Imagine if "a lot of cars" got into car accidents but "not all cars" who the fuck would still continue to drive???

I read somewhere that it's because cats are all about consent. Cats will walk away if they don't want to be petted, and will come to you for snuggles when they want it (vs. dogs, which generally love attention all the time) Some people get annoyed at cats because they seem standoffish, but cats are just communicating their consent.

God my litetal idiot ex once said that giving birth is like taking a giant shit, except the vagina is a muscle so it's "easy" to push out a baby because that's their purpose. I literally can't remember what I saw in him, other than attention for my own self insecurities.

They should do this. If their excuse for rejection is bodily autonomy, then maybe we can use that as a precedent to stomp down anti-abortion laws for women too.

Did we date the same guy? I swear these men are all alike! As I've gotten older I've realized how important peace of mind is. Now I catch myself before getting into arguments with people, or typing out long responses and hitting send. I just delete, block, move on. So much happier now!
