The reaction to the Oscars is downright disgusting and very telling of what kind of person someone isHe has two sons. I think it’s telling we (generally) know nothing of his first son who shares his name. I think he messed up as a father and drove him away. I also think it’s doubly messed up he named his next child “Willow” as if to start again with a kid that shares his name. | /r/MensRights | 28/03/22 03:34 PM
I feel like misandry is starting to become a coping mechanism for troubled women.....I mean I’d maybe understand more if she was raised by a single father who taught her this, but more than likely her own mother did more of the raising and thus is the one who instilled these thoughts. So really it’s other women she should hate. Also it’s funny that she’s literally talking down on people who do choose these things (to be a traditional housewife) when most feminists say it’s your choice to do what you want (choice feminism). | /r/MensRights | 20/01/22 06:50 PM
Does anyone else think that both men and women should consider proposing in this day and age so it’s equal.I’ve heard of each partner proposing. That way each can plan something special. And about the surprise of it all - if a proposal is the first time a couple talks about marriage then yikes. I’m assigned female at birth and would immediately end things if my partner surprise proposed or even just asked my dad for my hand in marriage (gross) but I’m very anti-traditional like that. | /r/MensRights | 02/11/21 07:13 AM
Literally gutted for nothingY’all are making victims of yourself. Yes some HRs suck but there are many out there that don’t. OP mentioned nothing about his HR. And I say this as someone who worked at a company whose HR ignored sexual assault (man assaulted a woman) so yes HR can ignore either side but you have to at least try to go that route. | /r/MensRights | 31/10/21 11:27 PM
Literally gutted for nothingFor sure it’s to help the company and not individuals overall, but you can’t come here and cry about this without at least trying to fix the situation. And no HR isn’t always only women…. Surely there is at least one man there you can ask to speak privately. Go in with “felt humiliated in front of everyone” instead of saying discrimination. Just to ensure they’ll take you more seriously because of the genders involved. | /r/MensRights | 28/10/21 07:41 PM

College student "scared" that workers who installed radiators in "Female and Transgender Collective" housing were all "cisgender men."You know exactly what I meant - normal has a different meaning in society. If you are not normal you are strange or weird in society’s terms. Side note the men here are not conforming to society or to the “standard” deemed by society therefore none of you are normal. See how useless that kind of language is? Trans men are men - not weird, not strange. I hesitate to say any man is normal because all people are so different and unique - there really is no “normal”. | /r/MensRights | 21/10/21 08:33 AM
College student "scared" that workers who installed radiators in "Female and Transgender Collective" housing were all "cisgender men."It honestly is really upsetting seeing this here. This is not equality, and I hope the majority of this subreddit does not feel the same as you do nor the people downvoting me. Trans men are men. | /r/MensRights | 21/10/21 08:30 AM
College student "scared" that workers who installed radiators in "Female and Transgender Collective" housing were all "cisgender men."Just to clear up what keeps being misunderstood in this comments section - this is sexism, but it’s not anything about sexual orientation. Trans means gender, NOT sexual orientation. Plenty of trans people are straight. | /r/MensRights | 18/10/21 02:56 AM
| -2 | College student "scared" that workers who installed radiators in "Female and Transgender Collective" housing were all "cisgender men."I wanted to quickly comment that it’s considered rude (and transphobic) to say men who were born as male (assigned male at birth) are “normal”. It perpetuates the idea that trans men are not normal. We all know transmen are not the same as cis men (in terms of their beginning sex), but to say they’re not normal isn’t equality and what this sub stands for. (I know you didn’t specifically say they’re not normal but that’s what I’m getting from your comment). | /r/MensRights | 18/10/21 02:51 AM |
A post I made on Facebook which read “When women say all men are trash, or all men should die, do they also mean trans people who have transitioned to men?” And received a 30 day post block for hate speech. This is such a good point. I’m gonna start using this, thanks! | /r/MensRights | 16/09/21 08:44 PM
Are there women in this group who support men's rights?I am too. You could start a poll if you wanted to get more answers from people who may not want to comment. | /r/MensRights | 23/07/21 08:50 AM
Why as a man, am I never asked permission if a woman (usually a nurse) can observe an intimate procedure that involves me undressing? As an AFAB, I’ve gotten into another issue once - that there has to be ANOTHER person in the room while I’m getting a genital procedure done by a man. That other person didn’t need to be there seeing all that. Altho I will say I just had to have pelvic surgery done and needed to see a whole host of many, many doctors and nurses. Most were male, and they never asked for consent outright. But I don’t think that’s bad - they basically DID ask for consent by asking me to undress for whatever procedu… | /r/MensRights | 05/07/21 09:17 AM
| -1 | Check out the conclusion she jumped straight to here...Yeah exactly. It’s not that she’s def looking for a gold digger but instead probably wants someone who puts effort into their looks which usually requires money like she has. She could have been nicer but he started it, I thought it was a hilarious reply. | /r/MensRights | 01/06/21 09:02 PM |
Why "Mansplaining" is a dumb concept?AFAB here. I’ve noticed what is thought of as “mansplaining” is common among people with autism when they’re actually info dumping. How many shitty ass people have thought guys are mansplaining because they have a legit condition which makes it harder for them to communicate? There’s a difference between making sure the other person knows the information required to move on in the convo, and being condescending and disrespectful. | /r/MensRights | 01/06/21 08:58 PM
