I 100% agree with your first sentence. However, I’d describe it different for myself. A good man has expectations that he holds himself accountable to. Being a good man doesn’t come naturally. I think that a lot of nice people think that they shouldn’t need to put an effort into being kind. But carelessness is what leads to recklessness.

I'm a woman and I sent this post to a woman who is stuck in a Relationship PTSD Rut. I wish this information were valuable to those who don't actively seek it themselves.
