Because marriage is a cash grab for women with no consequences. If women lost their children, house, assets for a severance sum like it was in the proper days, she would have to actually have a solid reason to divorce.

17% body fat and an obnoxiously healthy lifestyle, I could still afford to be picky as fuck despite being 30+ mom of a toddler. And you'd be in the table scraps section. Women over 30 do not age well for the most part.
