okay fair enough, i tried to go pro in dota for about 2yrs and never saw anything you described. most of the guys had girlfriends and nothing weird ever happened when we played with girls in scrims or standins, was just curious if it was a similar game.

i also have a big nose, its also hooked (think adrien brody) with a weak chin and big eyes. been in shape for 7 years but ive still had strangers come up to me and call me ugly before. if you get plenty of attention then its not as bad as you think...

yeah i had that depression as a kid then it got really bad at 17 yrs old, though i defo wouldnt use the word mature at all (teachers would tho). id say more jaded which can "present" like maturity but in reality you just dont give a shit about anything enough to have an emotional response

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of similar guys (with or without way below average looks) have followed the same path. Starting out as shy or booksmart etc. with only negative attention from most others, and subsequently overthinking things / retreating into their shell. yeah ur completely right, i had the same xp and the older i get the more avoidant i become despite getting better at everything else

more bollucks as usual. i started playing guitar at 11, was in a band from 15-19, probably the 3rd best at school - girls didnt give a flying shit. the best guitarist was an indian guy who to this day has not kissed a girl (hes 26) and the only guitarists that got attention from women were... if you hadnt guessed it... the two best looking ones. same goes for the best pianist, drummer, vocalist, flutist etc, these guys were still invisible despite all of us playing on stage.
