I should probably edit that to include <sarcasm> tags. The story was that IBM's Watson ended up stumbling onto Urban Dictionary, and they had to blacklist that and roll it back to a state before visiting Urban Dictionary because Watson because rather nasty.

Or IBM's Watson once pointed to 4Chan would probably be as effective as a computer with dice...

They have a lecture series, weekly emails, and many other things happening beyond this poster board that is outside the cafeteria. The whole lawn is slowly becoming covered in the flags, and there are other areas on campus with more in-depth facts. I only posted this picture because I found it interesting to see that statistic instead of the generic 1 in 4 women or 1 in x people.

I was impressed that they did this too. They're more willing to admit to the sexual assault issues that have come up in the last few years than the underage drinking problem that has plagued here for many more years and is much more widespread in terms of student knowledge...

Don't forget. We're men here. We can't be both men and parents. That's not something we're supposed to be. We can either be men OR parents.

by legal definition of US law, she was. If she was 18, it would have probably been seen in a different light.

And this is why I keep a voice recorder on hand. Unless company policy says it is against policy to have one, then keep one with you that you can use to record your conversation with HR. They may do their best to avoid evidence, but you can still document it. Ones with a detachable \ external Mic work best (for putting on the handset, so you don't have to use Speakerphone)

Same here. I just am careful what I post online and keep all my stupid shit to face-to-face conversations\over the phone. Posting my personal information couldn't do too much damage.

I just don't do stupid shit on the internet. If someone was dumb enough to dig up my personal life they'd find that I got engaged recently and drive a piece of crap for a car. Plus I've got buttloads of student debt. They'd also find it hard to pinpoint where my current address is because I've lived multiple places in the past 3 years.

My two favorites: (yes, kinda silly, but still present) 1: exposed skin on television. I am not a fit male by any means. I honestly am not too proud of the way I look, but I'm not a giant mass of flesh that undulates when I walk either. I still personally find it almost offensive when I see a TV commercial or ad in a magazine (That my GF reads) or in the paper that basically portrays a man as a sex-god-monster thing and nothing else. I don't want to see men with toned abs running around a beach,…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
