College is a bubble. It's a far more liberal atmosphere than real life and no one gives a shit who you fuck. More importantly, minorities overestimate their own appeal to white women. An Arab in Texas? You can play up the exotic thing. Hell, you can play off the danger factor since it's a conservative state. But an Indian guy living in a big city is truly fucked. White women don't view us as dangerous or really even exotic(since locally there are plenty of us) and the stereotyping is worse due to Indians reinforcing prejudices.

Maybe you're not a good looking guy. I'm not objectively handsome(due to ethnic features) but I'm definitely comfortably above average. I've seen Indian guys with white girls And? It happens now and then. But if it wasn't such a rarity then there wouldn't be a widespread understanding that Indians suck with women.
