Cold approach works in many other areas. Business conferences, meet ups, strangers at bus stops, churches, pubs, etc. Was playing a field sport the other day and some random guy on the street just casually walked up to me and asked what teams were playing and what the score was. It's low intensity, light and it focused more on a third party topic. It can work. Just needs a lot of honing in on the technique.

I think what they want is social proof that you are sane, sociable and have healthy outlets for fun and relaxation. At the end of the day, the dating pool is made up of unvetted strangers Now there are ways to have this proof without instagram. And that's all you need to have at a bare minimum.

Nearly all of the half decent ones have active instagram profiles. I married one who is pretty average but has an instagram profile that is all about her in different poses and backgrounds. I just told her to keep me out of it and she reluctantly agreed. I think you just have to accept that this is part of the dating game and hope that they turn it down as they get older. A red flag would be trying to turn every social opportunity into an instagram post.

Most influencers are super recognisable by their outfits, makeup and personality. You should be able to work out that someone is selling something within the first five minutes of conversation

I think if you combine Christian concepts with psychology, you get a better understanding of yourself instead of 'this good, thats bad'. I've been with the plain Christian woman as you described it. They bored me whilst every one said that this was the gold standard. But now that im in my late thirties, I realise the pitfalls of self improvement and growth. Every adventurous experience youve had adds another layer to your personality. But eventually you become so complex that one woman alone can…

Banter is just the subconscious trying to find where the boundaries are in a safe way. Almost a pressure release to cut through the tension. Instead of having sex, your mind gets off by bantering about it. When youre young, it's 95% of your relationship.

What you have is fomo. You think that you are missing out on something way better. You don't need to change anything. Only a baseline level of interest is needed. Everything else will take shape if the fundamentals are there. Heck I have nothing in common with my wife. A year into our relationship, we discovered that we both like gaming and card games like uno. Then we would play most nights for 20 mins. She's not plain. There's heaps of personality that hasn't been explored. Boring is ok for no…

By fundamentalism, I mean there is a theme in the old testament as well as with the epistles, of being rebels to the world. The Israelites and Paul's followers (especially in the book of acts) had to keep to themselves and apart from non believers. The Israelites were threatened with destruction for leaving their God and Paul's followers were promised to be taken up in the rapture if they followed his advice. You have to decide for yourself if you are under similar compulsion in life. Are you pr…

What we do as Christians in the dating game is create a secret deal with God subconsciously. We tell Him that we'll focus on our faith and in return He will gives us a mate. As time goes on, we feel our reward will be greater because we go through a lot to remain Christian and live up to the ideals in this atheistic world. During our waiting phase, we spend a lot of time on self improvement as well as researching the nature of woman. We not only demand a holy, chaste and caring woman but we also…

I think you're approaching it from a very ritualistic or mechanical point of view. Your main goal should be a happy marriage where you can foresee yourself waking up to someone who excites curiosity and wants to be with you. You should want to be a better person because of them and also want to keep discovering them. Your main enemy is developing apathy to your partner and attraction to other women while you are with your partner. Discovering someone's naked body is exciting the first time aroun…

What's important is you are looking to get married and you are taking your time to get to know someone truly before you become a pair. So many times in my life, my body was drawn to a woman for her body but then a few months later, the attraction wore off when I developed an apathy to their personality. Sex is not bad. It's the lack of interest towards someone after one or more sexual encounters that's wrong

Red pill forums make thirty year old women sound like they are desperate and willing to jump on any man but I have not found it true. It probably is only true for women who have an immediate need for a partner i.e. financial or women whose kids need parenting or those who desperately want to be moms. I have found on average from my dates that regular inner city thirty year old women are just happy to sit back in their comfy apartments and routines. They don't want to bring in a partner who is a …

You're over-thinking the practicality of the advice Sometimes in life, you have to partner with someone male or female in order to conquer new ground and then have them look after the conquest whilst you're gone. It requires trust and fidelity to establish the validity of a partnership. In my post examples, I have provided certain circumstances where female fidelity is demonstrable. Its up to you what you do with this advice. If you can achieve your goals without fidelity then good for you. You …

Look mate its up to you if you feel that you can't have it all (self development plus fidelity) and that's reasonable given the cultural circumstances we live in. My post examples basically points out that under certain circumstances female fidelity is demonstrable. If there are principles you can take out of those circumstances to apply to your own life then great you've got something extra in your arsenal. Of course fidelity might not be important to you and it does feel like BP thinking. But …

I'm not here to tell you how to prevent infidelity nor do I care about whatever stoic route that you've taken to deal with infidelity. My post is simply helping dudes do two things 1) keep her busy. My post just highlights the prevelance of temporary relationships but it doesnt offer any solutions. My only recommendation is to watch out for clear signs of the disposal nature of the relationship at the start for anyone pursuing an LTR. An LTR because sometimes they delivere good value The black pill for a lot of dudes is getting cheated when the relationship was always a temp one to begin with. I don't have any advice for you mate. When people are young, nearly all friendships and relationships are practice for the real thing .. only a few survive into adulthood and the world of real give and take. Nevertheless keep the idea of permanency in your mind and guide things, jobs and people to stay on the course with you. Until its clear that they cant come any further The worse thing to do is to approach everything as temporary. It will throw you into deep nihilism and there is no recovery …

Mate she gave you feedback on how you could improve. In the real world of business, customers give subtle feedback every day... If you still want to do your thing then thats ok but if you refine your model, you could elevate your game to new levels. This Principle applies to everything in life Its bad if she says 'you suck' but its awesome if she says 'you suck because of X and Y'
/r/TheRedPill23/09/22 04:35 AM
2

You could certainly see it that way but then you fall into the rabbit hole of nihilism. The model I present to you is to treat things like they could last and accept/reject when things/peopel refuse to keep up

What I mean to say that your biological drives are different to women. You wouldnt exit the dating game because you lack the skills to keep an LTR going but they do. You dont have the biological imperatives to practice being more loving so that a future high investment partner does not abandon you. Their biological drives are different from yours whereas Rollo makes it out to be the same. Its a model thats allowed to be propagated on a hyper leftist channel like Reddit because its 'wrong'
/r/TheRedPill23/09/22 03:52 AM
3

My model appears to be wrong because it doesn't match the typical male experience of life. Rollo's model is based on how he or any guy would act if they were women The model I present to you is a comprehensive model from a female point of view from early years to maturity. It isnt suppose to be easily digestible to a typical dude who has never been invovled in role-play

My only response to that is she frames the relationship as disposable to begin with and the man accepts it without knowing. There are signs of disposal to watch for but I wont list all of them 1) silly dating profile 2) shows up to date badly dressed or with a gym bag 3) has lot of pets and asks if you are into pets 4) Doesn't ask about you. Doesnt read your profile. With TRP, the danger is that you think that its all on you to raise the tension but really you are dealing with a dysfunctional hu…

When women's resources are limited is when they form committed relationships to men like marriage to ensure security This isn't applicable to your middle class inner-city woman like I said. They marry their boyfriends and have kids when they are in a place where they are ready to give... If shes not in that zone, she'll make do with temporary simulations like having a dog as a child Why do you think they are pro-abortion?

I read that one ... No the author is wrong and ignorant of modern young women. Lots of them live alone in their apartments, travel and study by themselves and many don't have close friends. They only fear neglect after they have already heavily invested. Not before. They put off good relationships as well during this time ...for the base reason that they don't have juice to fuel a relationship.

My whole post is really about remembering to avoid such relationships in the first place. When you notice these signs of disposability, avoid engaging. Let her practice on her girl friends but not you
/r/TheRedPill22/09/22 01:20 PM

My whole post is actually the opposite. They do care about the real deal but the real deal is fantasy. She has trained herself all her life to be responsive to the ideal and so will turn down reasonably good mates in hopes of finding the ideal. But will allow herself disposables because they are easily to get rid This isnt common to the male experience

My post doesnt relate to all women. It only relates to women who have a conception of the ideal mate but isnt in a position to actualise it.

You're speaking from the male experience and applying it to female natures in that a man would do exactly as a womean if he did have the same offers. Here I'm saying that women have a model of the ideal relationship in their mind but will engage in temporary and dysfunctional relationships until the perfect candidate shows up. This isn't something common to the male experience of life and lust.
/r/TheRedPill22/09/22 01:13 PM

All I am saying that there are many reasons unknown to the male experience as to why she isnt in a position to have a real relationship of give and take or with real responsibilities I'm presenting a different model to hypergamy in that Chad is also no better than the beta in that they were both incentivised to play the jester.

I agree this model isnt fully developed especially when taking into account high school relationships and also women with high n counts. Ill take your feedback on for more refinement. But like I said the information I provided here in this post is extremely well gaurded not because women are conscious of this knowledge but they are unconscious of it. Problem is when you self improve you realize just how little women offer and how it takes us so much self improvement to attract someone who brings as much to the table as a child. Nailed it. When I began the self improvement drug, I could feel the excitement with every social opportunity. Even a trip to the grocery store was filled with hope of meeting someone who would offer so much. But now the excitement and hope is no longer there. I can't stand traces of degeneracy and childishness.

You don't 'decide' to have kids because it's the next logical thing to do in the quest for happiness. It is simply something that just happens as a by-product of a good relationship. I.e. It's not natural to say if I need or dont need kids... Rather it's more natural to say I trust Sally and am opened to being more involved with her.

It's not ideal but as OP mentioned people believe that they can live on love. There are farmers who have 6 or 7 kids but could go bankrupt with one dry season. The financial cushion is a modern day concern

Well to be fair, a lot of people didn't have a financial cushion when they had kids. They lived pay check to pay check, lived in cramped housing and relied on the occasional support of family/friends. I grew up sharing a bedroom with my two siblings. Can accept your point though that it's not ideal to raise a child in such a system, but for many it's the only system available.

But like i said in the beginning, the average modern day person, period, is worth less than in the past This is a very black pill way of looking at things. Obviously we are very disposable in the modern day period but I would argue that it was more so for dudes in the past. There were very few people in the past who truly offered something unique. It sounds like you fear relationships because you know that you can possibly become needy with this one person and thereby open yourself to abuse. All I can say is that you shouldn't become too emotionally dependent on one person. Spreading it over a large group of people will help you become s bit more detached naturally.

You don't understand emotional labour because I am willing to bet that you are not a parent or a similar position of dependency. The problem with emotional labour isn't just about listening to problems and offering solutions. That's a small part of it. When we get rejected, be it from a job interview or a woman, it hurts deeply. We try to make ourselves feel better by psycho-analysing and bitching about the other party. But the truth is that we wanted what they could offer and the deal didn't go through. There's one lesson you should take away from this episode. "Don't live in the future". If she wants a relationship then let her come to you. Take it one day at a time. Don't fantasize about how she could be the one.

What you've written is quality and truly TRP has at least commendably diagnosed a problem with relationships even though their solutions are not the best. My only gripe I guess is that TRP has made me over-analytical about relationships because every time somebody flakes or disrespects me, I blame myself for allowing the person to get to the stage with me. Absolutely agree. Cultivating it isn't necessarily exercising it. But the trouble with discretely demonstrating your independence is that you can only maintain tense relationships. This without any exercising of aggression. Wouldn't the other country remain a bit tense, watchful and cautious around their neighbour. Now think …

Some personalities require some investment. You may need to mold such a personality and slowly let it fly. Also it looks like you are using your friend as motivation/energy to keep your mission going. This is a recipe for disaster. It sort of looks like you like her mothering you. Your hunger for life should come from your mission and life goals. Not from being in the company of your partner doing stuff together as college bros. Swedenborg has some great perspectives on spiritual masculinity and spiritual femininity. The more you kind of understand the masculine and the feminine, the more you understand our ourselves. If you get time, would recommend a free PDF on it. It's got some Christian redpill influence in it though it was written in the 1700s : https://swedenborg.com/product/love-in-marriage/

For me the idolatry of women goes much deeper. I follow the writings of Emmanuel Swedenborg and in it he makes a point that femininity is the affection/submission for the truths/wisdom of masculinity. But feminine traits as well as masculine traits are present within the same person. As men, our feminine traits allow us to submit, be clothed under and be faithful to God and authorities (king, parent or employer). The feminine within a man forces him to submit to something. If not God, he will su…

If I understand you correctly then you say that the love of women is different from the love of person. And that oneitis is the love of women. I think I understand what you are honing in on. Your concern is that inequality exists in the world today. And that following Christian moral principles might ensure that people are somewhat better off but it doesn't address the inequality. For example, a slave and his master may have a good relationship but it doesn't change the fact that the master owns much and the slave owns absolutely nothing. Should the master also donate some of his riches to the slave? Or should the slave be morally righ…

I think the atheist world has to a large extent realised that Christians are hypocrites because they have used macro level principles to both destroy and empower humanity. For example, the principle of husbands ruling over wives was a sizeable reason for extensive domestic abuse of the past. The inquisition and slave trading were influenced by the bible's lack of a clear stance on slavery. Polygamy too is not outright banned by the bible because you've got Abraham, David and Solomon keeping hara…

You probably will not find biblical advice that applies at the community or national level in the bible. So it's hard to see what must be done in this scenario from a higher perspective. When you say morality. I believe you want a principle that can be applied at a macro level. For example, the bible does not say slavery is evil or racism is evil. Nor does the bible say that women must submit to men in all scenarios. Nor does the bible say anything about government structures. But rather it spea…

The deeper your Christian maturity is, the larger pool of people do you see as your neighbour to whom you have to care for. A selfish man only cares of himself. A little less selfish man cares only for his immediate family. A better man cares for the community. An even better man cares for the nation. The best care see the whole of humanity as one functioning human body. It's easy to say look my family starves while the community prospers. A thief says the same to himself. But I guess when Jesus…

Yes completely agree that you can't marry such a person. But there are red flags with everyone. Everyone has it difficult these days because they grow up in homes without biblical gender roles. The key lessons I have picked up over the years were 1) what does she know already about biblical gender roles and does she accept it. 2) how teachable is she. 3) is she already under authority (i.e. her father, mentor or clergy) Without these things it will be hard to reform her.

Of course sometimes understanding what God really said is difficult especially when it comes to the advanced stuff. I admire the devout of all faiths even the Muslim who prays five times a day. There are many in this world who have recognised the futility of life without God. As Christians we believe through faith that God communicates to his people. Some lessons are taught through scripture and the same lessons through life experiences.

Anger is much simpler than that my friend. Let me explain: When a child is born, it is brought up in love and made to feel very much at home by his parents. Out of the abundance of their hearts, the parents shower the child with love. When the child becomes a teenager and a young adult, it becomes a bit rebellious. TRP hates feminists. They hate what the modern female has become. But do you know what? Men created feminists and the mess we are in. God created us men to be leaders. Leaders that submitted to God and in turn represented God to women. The women in turn would raise kids as representatives of God so that they too would one day learn to lead with righteousness and submit with humility. Love is perfect submission such that the two become one. When you break the chain, you create a mess that spawns …

Your advice sounds good in theory but probably has little practical benefit. You can compare it to those nice to read motivational memes you see around on FB. You can give the advice you have because you now know what life is and what success is. But what if a man in his 90s came to you and said 'just be happy and don't take life seriously son. I wish I never worked so hard as I got back nothing' How can you tell someone to succeed when you don't know what the problem is? When I was in middle sc…

I'm not too sure about being liked is important. 'Being liked' is a very subjective term. Because a lot of the times, the people who like/dislike you are irrelevant to whether you are promoted, retained or demoted. Worked for some companies where they wanted you to work hard and then join them to party hard (a consultancy). Another company where you indirectly reported to one super boss but worked directly for another boss with zero authority (bank). And yet another where the people who had been…

Software developer here. May be unrelated but it amazes me how much people worry about or rather do not worry about job security. I have been a part of so many projects that involved nothing innovative but rather it was an automated replacement of human labour. A better, faster and for lesser drama alternative with huge upfront costs. Every line of code (or more) I wrote replaced the need for a person to do some task. I worked on one system that was so complicated that nobody in the company knew…

OP seems to be a purist. Jobs at a lower level are vastly different to jobs at a higher level. The chances of rapid promotion/demotion are proportionally related to the seniority of the position. At the bottom of the chain, it is more about maintaining your job than being promoted.

Agree. OP seems to have a one size fits all approach. I agree that sometimes there is very little you can do to change perspectives of you. Company cultures are defined by the people in power. Some value productivity and some value team bonding. I have worked for both. At the end of the day, it is important to position yourself to the immediate team you work for rather than the company as a whole.

True. The church has been trying its best to stay relevant in modern society. It has tried to keep up with trends by borrowing and christening modern philosophy. They are afraid to be the light in the darkness because of how many people they will piss off. Take for instance, they used to heavily persecute homosexuals because they were an easy target. They would avoid collateral damage by going in for more relevant topics like divorce, premarital sex, casual sex, remarriage, marriage with unbelie…

Well said but if we go deeper in to the gospel we see that Jesus came to shepherd 'his flock'. There are a set of people that he has choosen long before the world was made. They were his before the beginning and they will stay his after the end. The bible tells us that this special group of people did not do anything of their own to merit this selection but for some reason, God chose to call them to him. We see Jesus treating these special people differently whether they were his disciples, tax …

I would think that it is the opposite.the red pill borrows biblical concepts and refines it with its own. Because though the bible tells us that a woman to submit to a man, it also tells us to love perfectly all those who are imperfect just as a perfect God loves us imperfect beings. The red pill also seeks to love but to conditionally love.

Of course the bible is ambiguous. Even Jesus in his teachings rarely gave explicit law. It was always given through parables. The old testament is similarly told in parables (Job, Jonah, Adam and Eve). Even the new testament book of Revelations. Besides that the bible contains different individual accounts of their own respective faith, stories and belief in God. What we can see from this is that God does not want to give us explicit law. He reluctantly did so in the old testament books of Levit…

You know the bible knows the difficult situation we as men are in and there is some explanation for it. There are some brilliant women out there and this is coming from a male programmer working in an overwhelmingly male environment. Mozart lived at a time when females were not allowed to pursue interests outside family and menial work. Male or female, how many modern day mozarts do you know of? JK Rowling, Angela Merkel, etc. are brilliant female personalities. They may not have reached the heightsheights that men have but men have had countless millennia to get to where we are. Give women the sa…

A new car is a luxury and it does not make as much as sense just like a poor village kid does not understand why you keep buying more clothes from kmart. When your mates and their women all drive expensive cars and you turn up with a shitty Toyota, you will know the feeling.

It matters to all men. If it didn't, we wouldn't have counterfeits and discount knock off brands. Have you been poor? Do you think poor dudes aren't as materialistic as rich dudes? You my friend need to wake up. Read up on the social impact of Nike's air Jordan. Have you been to Wal-Mart on black Friday?

Sounds logical but you can't discount making investments in status symbols. My friend once asked me why don't I get rid of my 15 year old car and I was like eh why should I buy a new car when this one still drives well. But he was like no you don't buy a brand new car for yourself but you buy it for others to see. I didn't understand what he really meant because I was young back then but essentially you make investments in your own brand. We make investments in our brand everyday. Buying a round…

And this is what the blue pill of TRP is...that you can become an alpha...but really most of us are betas striving to act like alphas but the moment we drop our guard, we become all natural beta self.. Unlike true alphas who are alpha by character and do not switch between. For example, we are taught when and how to say thank you after receiving something as kids but we cannot be taught to be truly grateful...
/r/TheRedPill31/05/16 08:18 AM

The reason I say you won't find a lot of head alphas on this sub is because head alphas are born with natural head alpha qualities that you can't teach. Take Russell brandt for example. All of us in this group on the hand are here to learn from them but more specifically we learn to act like them in certain scenarios because deep in our minds we know who we naturally are.

You know there is a saying which is that if you are the smartest person in the room then you are in the wrong room. The problem with being the alpha in a group that you control is that it is most likely going to be a group full of betas. Your date might not be impressed by the betas in your group but would be impressed if they were themselves alphas who you control as head alpha. Now if you were a head alpha, you would most likely not be bothered about this subreddit. So the onus is on subjucati…

I think child support is something that a man must provide for and should be happy to do so. Where the law has let us down is how child support is spent.

The point of the post was how lust can be the driving force or change agent in refining a man. When society diminishes its value, you have a whole heap of guys trying to chase success in other aspects of their life when they would have been very happy in the past with just being married.
/r/TheRedPill29/05/16 04:35 AM

Yup and that's what this preacher fails to mention that women themselves have to earn their partnership and not all of them are 'sexy, intelligent and successful'

I think TRP helps fill the void created due to a lack of motivation or rather goals in life. Everyone on here or rather large percentage of people on here had a broken dream that made them visit this subreddit.

So are you saying there is no benefit from a long term secure relationship with a woman? Are we only willing to take but not give?
/r/TheRedPill29/05/16 04:28 AM

Can I ask what part of the 1950 Child Support Law is not acceptable? I believe child support is still payable even if you are not married?

That's fantastic. You are doing your son an awesome favour that I hope he can one day look back upon and realise that his father allowed him to be a man. May be their mother provides him with a balance. He gets the best of both. The risk of both of you teaching your son to be independent is that one day when he grows a bit older and see his friends being pampered by their mothers, it will put a seed into his heart that his parents didn't love him in the same way.
/r/TheRedPill28/05/16 02:32 PM

I don't think Lust is the driving force but rather it was a huge driving force for all men once upon a time. Now it is slowly diminishing in value as a change agent.
/r/TheRedPill28/05/16 02:23 PM
2

for the same reason, many men do not know how to change a tyre or how to fix a clogged drain.
/r/TheRedPill28/05/16 02:21 PM

of course the author has done a shit job of not telling women what they must bring to the table in order to keep a man. But from a guy's perspective, a douchebag/creep is taught a very valid life lesson from women who reject him. Getting sex despite that earlier on teaches him to remain a douchebag.
/r/TheRedPill28/05/16 02:19 PM

Well Saudi Arabia and their neighbours are extremely rich from oil but their women are oppressed. I would think that in western countries, the persecution of violence through law and cultural reform is what allowed feminists to come out. They no longer fear the fists of men. But that's true that women on the other hand don't depend on men anymore as they once did which means they can enjoy man-child Chads with no strings and without hoping he could turn into a breadwinner.
/r/TheRedPill28/05/16 12:12 PM

Wow! That's a solid point. I guess the feminists of today are actually the products of the men of yesterday. We gave them enough reasons to club together. I have a feeling that the men of tomorrow (TRP) in the same way will now be the product of the feminists of today.
/r/TheRedPill28/05/16 10:38 AM

I guess you can say that there has to be some actual motivation into wanting to become a mature man. Lust used to be one of the strongest but now its not so much of a driving force due to the watering down as you mention.
/r/TheRedPill28/05/16 10:27 AM
1

Agree with that. There are a lot more factors than just easy-girls. I was thinking of this article more from a 'lust' perspective especially how lust is not entirely about entertainment/satisfaction. If lust is allowed to grow, it could be the force that gives a man the motivation to rise up against all these challenges. But what we are seeing in the modern-day is a very low payout for that sort of long-term unquenched burning lust.
/r/TheRedPill28/05/16 10:19 AM

I dont think the article says that men in general or some men have easy access to sex but access to sex in general is a lot more easier compared to previous generations. Women are allowed to have pre-marital sex as they want and feel like and a result a large percentage of men are no longer virgins before marriage. Or rather their needs are fulfilled to better quality porn (internet), willing girlfriends and prostitutes. Now of course, the men of yesterday enjoyed their fair share of prostitutes…
