This! I think it's akin to taking a drug -- likely a nice, short-lived spike of adrenaline and excitement. Not worth it in the end, though (IMO).

Attend yin yoga at least once a week. Cut back on carbs and incorporate paleo meals 75-80% of each week. Exercise daily. Continue to improve my self-awareness through meditation and relying less on my husband for my happiness.

I am thankful for my husband and his phenomenal cooking skills. His cooking beats any restaurant, although I do enjoy going out with him. :) I am thankful for my sweet pup and 3 cats. I have a very dominant man, indeed. :) Thanks for sharing your perspective! I need a hefty dose of Back TF Off myself. ;) I am so used to being too involved, controlling (not in a mean way, but wanting things "my way"), if that makes sense. Anyway, I am realizing finally that in doing so I have been breaking him down instead of building him up. As a result, he has gotten quite mean and distant because he feels like I make everything "into a problem." RP swallowed.
