2	The problem is with male genitalia? But that's the point of the second narrative. The main point is that it's never the victim's fault, AND there are ways to reduce the chance of it happening. These are not mutually exclusive nor should they be. Those using the second narrative to justify the first are also failing in their reasoning. I'm referring to the notion that it is possible to reduce your odds of being raped, but that if you don't take those actions it's still not your fault. That's what everyone else in this comment thread is arguing. You seem to be referring to the narrative that if you dress like a slut it is your fault for being raped, or that dressing like a slut means you will be raped and thus you should not do it. 4	The problem is with male genitalia? It only comes up in the media with rape of women because rape of men receives almost no media attention; indeed, many people do not believe that it exists. People don't say the same thing about prison rape because in large part it is viewed as a punishment (which is a horrible, awful view to take) and it is seen as something which is deserved. Get it through your skull that while it is never the victim's fault for being raped, it is also possible to reduce your chance of being raped by taking preventative measures. No one is saying that if you do not take these preventative measures it is your fault for being raped. NO ONE HERE IS SAYING THAT, no matter how much you like to pretend they are.
