Everyday you decide if you’re gonna be a winner or loser. I hope you all are winners today.

Into the Inkwell 07 When it rains it pours. Just can’t catch a break some days! Even as a type this I just feel a dull dread, a want to opt out, a wish to have something new. To crumble is a choice, and today I choose not to. Not sure why I’m sharing. If I had to guess, I’d say to feel less alone, to encourage others to get through their hardships, or just as a way to log how I feel so I don’t forget. A diary of sorts. These types of days are important though, they make the good days that much s…

Into the Inkwell 06 My supervisor said I’m a happy go lucky person today. I could see how she would think that, but man it’s far from the truth. I’ve become cold, and I’ve been bitter. I don’t hate life, I still can enjoy the little things but I’m not happy right now. I have my moments, but it’s been so long since I was happy/content for longer than a week. The last time was probably winter of 2020, when I was on my shit. I’m coming back though. Even though things bother me, I’m doing what I nee…

Hope keeps those that are down going. The light at the end of the tunnel. But what happens when you lose sight of the light? Or you make it out of the tunnel and shit still sucks? What then? I think about this sometimes, but I try not to dwell. I’ll cross that bridge when I get there.

Someone making you happy does not equate to someone you’re afraid to lose, and vice versa.

Sometimes I hit women up because I want womanly company. A recurring thing that happens is that they’re initially not into it until they talk to me for a while. Then they do get into it and like talking to me because I am easy to talk to. But as that was happening I get bored of them or find them annoying, and don’t wanna talk to them anymore. Then I feel bad for hitting them up in the first place. Oops

I’m confident I will find that eventually. A nice girl to start a family with. It’d be hard to go on if I didn’t feel confident in that. Hope you can find something like that eventually too

Far from enough, mostly due to distance for friends and one of my siblings that I’d like to hang out with more.

Into the Inkwell 05 My life really isn’t that bad. I’ve actually got a lot of good things going on. I’ve got a nice job and making pretty decent money, somewhat young, and have zero student debt. And I’m alive. I used to say any day on this side of the grass is a good one. I haven’t been feeling that too much as of late, but I’m trying to get back. I think a lot of my negative feelings come from looking for things I want in the wrong places. Idk who reads these comments, but if there’s anyone wh…

Knowing something logically isn’t the same as internalizing it sadly

Into the Inkwell 04 I can’t help but feel like things weren’t meant to be this way. And I’m afraid that when things do go my way I won’t be able to fully appreciate them because they didn’t happen when I needed them to. The hero doesn’t always come in time.

Into the Inkwell 03 A YouTube channel I like wrote this about how villains (in movies) are made, and it really reminded me of TRP. The way to create a tragic relatable villain is to take a regular person and push them to the brink. This person finds themself in an extremely unfair and difficult situation. … So unfortunately this person has no pathway to victory with the rules presented to them, and the hero is not going to save them. The hero doesn’t even know they exist. All our nobodies needed…

Into the Inkwell 02 I really want someone who tries to make me happy. This isn’t to say that the people in my life don’t make me happy, but there’s a difference between that and someone who actively tries to make you happy. I often feel like I’m trying harder than the other party in most of my relationships. It’s not all bad, but I’d like to find someone who matches, or at least tries to match, my effort. I do see and appreciate effort now and then, but it seems scarce.

Into the Inkwell 01 I’m a lot more sad than I let on. My oldest friend told me I’ve always seemed like a happy person. I know he’s not the only person to feel this way either. I’d like to think I’m kind, and know I’m pretty generous. I’m glad people perceive me this way. I want to be seen this way. I want to be someone that gives others hope, cheer them up, make them happy, and or inspire them. But happy is far from what I’d describe myself as of late. When I am that big hearted person people se…
