You gotta be a regular, then give small eye contact, never look away first, small smirk. Once there's familiarity, you can start saying hi casually, and when you do that enough times, like 3 times, then you can approach and introduce yourself, be fun, don't be serious, don't interview her. Keep at it, and shortly after ask for her number

I think this is true, girls will know at a subconscious level if they want to have something with you. The only way to fuck it up, is if you're weird or lose points by being awkward, the less you speak the better.

If you're fit, most likely she was checking you out, now since she's staff you can smile at her and ask some random bullshit, what time does the gym close? whatever, keep going and smile at her, ocassionally ask her briefly hey how you doing? Then when there's familiarity, ask her if she wants to grab a coffee.
