Sometimes I ask myself why I have to do this stuff when it seems to come so natural to other people, then I remember that tons of other people have told me I'm so confident, everything seems to come easy to me etc so I think that's just a natural flaw in human reasoning. ha I can relate to that a lot, and I think it comes down to social obliviousness which allows me to talk and do a lot of shit norms can't, but it's funny how you forget that and feel unconfident because of what you can't do, and…

yh I agree with you sounds like we had a similar journey. I as well as others who practiced got to a point where we all felt we didn't have to try to game someone pua style or try to project some image and could just be ourselves with it, because after a while you internalise it and it becomes a part of you anyway, but when you take this step back from pua you stop it from becoming all of you yh it's a funny one as you can attract girls by being outspoken, but tbh I started watching what I say m…

me being boderline autistic/adhd, if not just a shitty time growing up. also myself is a bit on either end of a scale at any point and time but rarely in the middle where it needs to be, so often I'm either too confident or too shy, too impulsive or too cautious, doing too much with my time or doing too little. I have aspects to me that generally speaking aren't great for attracting women or general social situations, as I like debating and arguing, especially over sensitive topics, I like tradi…

it did provide results, but I've found that there are other areas in my life that hinder me (and my game for that matter) that can't be resolved by pua, or at the least, pua alone

mostly went down the double your dating and cocky funny route, then found out tips and bits here and there but that's my main go to. I was succesful in the sense that I was now getting date, get off with girls more often and just generally understand the whole process that being said I still had a bad time getting laid because I'd get too cocky/too rude, my general social tact is bad so I'd often mess up, I live with my rents, I'd give up a bit too easily sometimes with girls and try too hard wi…

I was in the community for 2 years, didn't realize it actually was like that until the end of year 2. When I finally broke free (and kept some of the good parts of PUA) I immediately started getting better results. I went down a similar path as after a while you internalise it and you don't need to obsess over it so much if you don't want to. like you I don't really "do" pua that much anymore in the sense that when I'm hitting on someone I'm thinking about what move to make next and it comes a l…

weird, think I'd have to see you in person to get what you're saying as my experience hasn't really been like that but fair enough if that has been how it was for you. I can get the pua being stuck in your head though, but I think it's like that at first, you calm down after a while

a hot girl wont be shit testing you if she's downright ignoring you. yes if you're stupid hot and don't neg too far you'll be fine, if you do you won't. I don't know how hot you are or how hard you neg but bottom line is if she ignores you she ignores you, if she doesn't ignore you, then she's probably game for it

truth is for people who aren't confident or very social there is no good tactic rather than go out, fail and improve. yes, they may need to just practice on social skills first but even socially gifted people can crumble to being awkward when it comes to hitting on people
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/15 01:42 AM
1

no, even if you're good looking whilst you have more of a chance of getting away with shit, if they don't like what you're saying they'll still ignore you. especially with online dating and shizz you probably aren't the only good looking person trying to get in their pants, the mroe good looking they are the truer this is to boot
/r/PurplePillDebate25/12/15 01:40 AM

difference between that and a get rich quick scheme is that there's nothing quick about pua or trp. even pua aims at changing your personality rather than just giving you some lines and a to do list. you also notice the effect of pua pretty quickly, or at least I did there.

would you 'obsess' over something if it showed no signs of working whatsoever?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/15 09:37 PM

actually it isn't, especially the make yourself a catch part or the don't take rejection personally part. I'd argue the approach lots of women part as I'd say a lot of men aren't raised to think that women will never approach them/make things happen big phrase being "you'll find someone eventually"

tbh would it have made a difference and you had rejected him anyway? whether it had been a fake number or a real one but you don't text him back? truth is he's on a path that gets worse before it gets better and it'll take a while for him to learn to do what's best yh maybe he should have 'played it safe' and avoided negging, but one of the many reasons negging has such a bad name is because plenty of women will talk about how some lame dude tried to neg them, but will never talk about when it a…

speaking from experience, most girls will just ignore you if you talk shit they don't like to them
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/15 09:17 PM

so either There is no sexual strategy that works. or you The only valid strategy is to make yourself the best catch possible and go onto approach lots of women whilst not take the inevitable rejection personally.

I did a whole bunch of negging way before I knew about trp negging was designed to break the ice with hot women who were out of your league. you say something mildly provocative to them about what they are doing/wearing/etc but don't make it personal. I think one of the stock ones me and my wingman at the time used was shit like "oh, we met a few other girls with your name/those shoes/etc" and it'd break ice. another one I tried was "you blink a lot" which suprisingly got a good response too, in…

The joke is that there are no alternatives - losers just have to accept being losers, because there is no way they could possibly change themselves. The joke is that improving oneself is an exercise in futility. Most of the readers are socially awkward nerds, so it's not surprising they'd believe that. xckd has a slighty wider audience than that but I do agree with you. a lot of these things tend to be designed to preach to the choir rather than inflict any real change or help unfortunately

I'm of the opinion that so much as asking someone please is manipulation, thus to certain degrees everyone uses a certain amount of manipulation in their life. it's not always bad but obviously it's not always good. lastly when it comes to dating I think even your most average couple has their techniques. lastly even if you read no more mr nice guy (which a lot of the advice can apply to women too) shows that nice people can be more manipulative than you think, even though they tend to suck at i…

a) not if it's done correctly b) they don't even have to, there's a bulk of other things they will learn and tbh if they are trying to get better at socialising they are going to have a few fuck ups anyway, it's part of the learning curve lastly I'm kind of dissapointed you've avoided the question and just stuck another knife into negging, which I don't even think people try to reccomend at large anymore
/r/PurplePillDebate24/12/15 05:54 PM
10

but what does that even mean? imagine you go to a person who is shit at socialising and talking to the sex that they are into and say all they have to do is talk to them like they are a human being, do you think that will solve all of their problems? negging shouldn't even be disrespectful, more just flirty teasing, so if you're saying you should talk to someone with basic dignity and respect you're actually on the same side of pua

using different tools to exacerbate your flawed existence can be part of the path that leads to changing your life and world views on attraction the comic stings me a bit because I have deffinately been the type to go too far with the negging, but on the flipside this is just another piece of culture that looks at the worse side of any self help programme (that they, xckd in this case, don't know a whole lot about) that is aimed at losers and use it to call losers losers, then gives them no real…

I'd say trp is crude and does go ott but from my own personal experience it's way more accurate than you'd think and you'd only notice it if you went down the pua/trp route for yourself or at least spend a length of time studying both and just observing real life. if you are a straight male, may even be worth trying it just as you're own little experiment. you don't even have to become a horrible person to do, which you'll find out should you try it

some people can be good socially but still have bad game, and sometimes being good socially can make up for bad game. I do agree though it is likely that someone who is depressed and anxious will probably be bad at both but I still wouldn't jump the gun as it's funny how things can work

it's funny how feminists which full of females more than not think they know how men think tbh it doesn't really matter what gender is doing the analysing, and sometimes I think the opposite gender can be a bit less biased when it comes to judging the other, especially when it comes to experiences that people have in common and especially when it comes

ahh fair enough, I think it's ok to put in a small line disclaiming something like that because it makes it seem more realistic, as well as takes pressure off a bit imo. sometimes I find it inspiring when I see people make a small failure in something they're succesful in, because it means that they're human just like everyone else but they peservere and don't make a big deal of shit that doesn't go right, but that might just be me

nice one, I used to lone wolf a lot more often and whilst I did have fun with it I my tact, or lack of, was to run game chickenhead style; unashamedly hit on everyone. I was witty and flirty enough to do but I'd end up going to far with my banter a lot and not calming things down enough to seal the deal so whilst I had fun it was frustrating. I've personally experienced it, it's not really something that's a big deal as initially it's something/someone you barely wanted in the first place. unless said thing or person massively "blossoms" it's not gonna ever be a big regret
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/15 07:40 PM

no this is actually very likely to be true. at one point of my life I was going out a lot by myself which makes hitting on girls quite hard, but you have someone with you, it's a lot easier and it's easiest when you know their friends/have a mutual social proofing is a thing, look it up
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/15 06:25 PM
10

it cuts both ways. that girl you're on the fence about hitting on always becomes a lot hotter when someone else starts hitting on her. generally speaking, humans will value something more if they see other people valueing it, it's like how you can still get star struck by a celebrity you don't really care about.

Male incels are incel mostly because they're unattractive. They are incel because very, very few, or no, women are sexually interested in them. And that lack of sexual interest is because these men are not attractive men. I can agree that this is part of the problem, but also part of the problem is mentality too. I myself was shit with girls when I didn't go about things the right way, but became a lot better when I did. I've also seen good looking guys get with no girls because they have no con…

if the parents are united in raising the child, the child will benefit a lot more than say if they know they don't have to listen to parent a because parent b wears the pants on one issue, but will go to parent a for things because parent b wont spoil them which will constantly pit the parents against each other.

I think trp see's that as besides the point. The more a 35 yo guy can attract a good/decent looking girl + the closer they are to 20 yo, the more that woman his own age is going to have to be really fucking interesting. also works the other way round; when I'm out of shape or outside of my preffered scene, by a game can still have girls on the fence, but if I'm in shape my game actually suffers because it's so much easier to get girls

Richer women look better because they can afford the best skin care regimens, better makeup, better clothes, and even things like personal trainers, expensive cosmetic procedures, ect. I'd kind of disagree, if not add in a different element to what you're saying. some people are just well bred; somewhere down the line you'll have some rich dude, maybe even good looking too who can now fuck a good looking woman, so naturally they'll have good looking kids. he's going to probably live in the best …

men who are old enough to legally date someone who's at least a decade, especially two or two younger than the are of an age group where younger women is going to be vastly more attractive than anyone their own age. also I think men in general end up with younger women, as women tend to be more attracted to older men. I do also think that generally yes, youthfulness is an attractive factor, but I also think men are forced by women to date younger girls, as girls tend to go for older guys

it's so annoying when feminists use stats to descredit female on male rape as well as false convictions being a concern whilst employing the logic (which is very true) that the figures for women who are raped/sexually assualted are lower than they actually are because not everybody reports

it's just numbers, most people studying game online are going to be in a western country where there are way more white girls than there are any other ethnicity, and white women are less likely to have sexual hang ups than the other ethnicities. lastly unless your black men of other ethnic minorities say that their women only date their own when they are looking for marriage/ltr tl;dr there's way more white girls than there are any other type in western countries, and they are more likely to put…

it's more common than you think but it's tricky; a fair few women will like a guy who they think all women want, but they'll be strongly put off if they feel like they can't have him to himself or at the least wont ever see them seriously as a long term partner, which is good for the guy if he's looking for something casual but pretty harsh if he wants more

subverting traditional gender roles isn't all rainbows, as the work force is now more competitve thus everyone is getting paid less. I'm not saying women should go back to the kitchen unless they are about to deliver, but it is a drawback. casual sex also has it's pros and cons, infact things like trp and game theory, two things feminists greatly dislike, are kind of born out of men who were unable to enjoy casual sex. you talk of divorce but omit that it's mostly men who lose out, especially in…

Arguably, men are more scarce for committed relationships. You have a point for casual sex though. I think the only men who are scarce for committed relationships are men who have a good amount of options, which isn't the majority. you're mostly right on the second part, although you exclude that some women will marry if not jsut get knocked up by alphas

dunno about the writers opinion on challenging on overbearing, but from my own personal experience talking about smart shit to smart girls makes for good conversation but it doesn't exactly get them attracted to you as much as normal flirting does. could also be that some of these women excel in intelligence at expense of social skills like a lot of men which also doesn't help
/r/PurplePillDebate14/04/15 07:13 PM

I think trp misinterpret a lack of opportunity to be selfish (gender role expectations, harder to sleep around, be taken care of, etc) with being loyal/selfless regardless, a rare trait for either gender

I hear you and I understand why generalisations are bad but at the end of the day if you're at work and some heavy lifting needs to be done, nobody is going to look at the women and I'm sure it's a similar thing when these kind of scenarios get flipped
/r/PurplePillDebate03/04/15 02:25 AM

on a general basis it does. on an individual basis there's more as to why being x will be better than y, and there'll be a lot mroe to it than gender
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/15 02:36 PM
6

you're missing the point x & y can be equal even if they are different, because y can do some things that x can't do and vice verca. men and women are different but women are better at some things than men, and vice verca
/r/PurplePillDebate02/04/15 02:13 PM
9

that's not really true. things that are different can be equal, like how in rock paper scissors each hand sign is stronger than one other, but also weak to another. all different, all equal. there is than chess which is an example of how difference can make something better or worse, but I don't think that applies to gender in the way rock paper scissors can

well it's good for you that you're in a good relationship and you don't have to worry about things like shit tests but it's a very real problem for other people I can see why you'd say comparing therapy to trp is a stretch, but tbh pua did more for me sexual wise than therapy ever will. Funny, I read a book recently where someone murdered an entire family because she was illiterate. Anyway, I think the other problem with TRP, as far as learning to speak to women goes, is namely that there is a lot of overthinking involved. Everything seems to be a shit test. ya know? essentially, trp is a solution so they are going to be talking about problems that get in the way fo you getting laid, coupled with field reports, you're going to get a lot of examples of the same scenarios, so yes…

you're right, but there's so much social stigma attached to being in need of social skills, as well as the people who teach them that it's much easier said than done. even before people in pua and trp get called rapists, they are instantly frowned upon because they've had/are trying to learn how to speak to women and socialize with people akin to how people learn how to read

it really isn't, you've just looked at the worst example ever and then said game is bad. you also heavily imply game preceeds men who are ridiculously obnoxious when it comes to hitting on people; you don't know if that guy was running game or just a dickhead. I think the last bit of advice was the best bit. sometimes it can be so easy to beat yourself up for failing one of these tests*, especially the shit ones and then get cynical but things normally work best when you assume attraction. the part where you said passing one shit test sometimes only buys you time was a pretty golden perspective too. obviously best to pass them than not, but the more you're in the clear and doing it right the less they crop up, or at least they're less damning should y…

your scenario would have worked out better if both guys didn't know you were seeing other guys that being said dating more than one person does have it's problems, sometimes having options can be a curse in terms of becoming indecisive, greedy or doing a bit of an icarus in terms of trying to keep getting a better partner only to lose a good option that being said, I'd say it's best to never put all of your eggs in one basket

hang around a poor area then hang around even just a slightly richer area; the richer the people, the more attractive the gene pool as the richer people have already plucked out most of the attractive people from the poorer people. you'll also notice the richer people tend to be taller. there is then also what /u/oxgy has to say too

I dunno about how the last two paragraphs fit into this, you were the one who said partners leave when their other gains weight
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/15 09:25 PM
1

Sex is a very small portion of a marriage though. I agree, but it's still significant to some. What do you mean by this? you said some people leave their partners for weight gain, or as it translates to me, becoming unattractive. people want to have sex with people they find attractive. whilst they can still have love for their partner, things like weight gain may take away the sexual side to that relationship, hence why they may want to break up and seek a new sexual relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate12/01/15 08:41 PM
1

well even a marriage is a form of a sexual relationship. leaving someone you no longer want to have sex with as it's the only person you should morally be having sex with is a pretty logical decision. the people you have loving non sexual relationships with are more often than not shared with the people you call your friends

yes, very much so. I've given some absolutely appalling advice to women in the past. however, guy or girl, giving advice to a guy or a girl, tends to be shit most of the time. until you meet someone who is fully aware specifically of what they do that attracts other people, or know what to do to attract someone, it's is best to take their advice with a massive pinch of salt, if you choose to take it at all.

saying that women are attracted to money/power/status make them sound superficial, elitist and essentially bad, especially as most men don't have a desirable amount of money, power or status which makes them feel bad thus makes these women look worse. if however you say that women care less about physical traits, it makes them seem less superficial, whilst not ruling out that they may infact be attracted to money, power or status. however because them being attracted to being money, power or sta…

if you want to be literal, an average grade heavily relies upon the results that the people who take the test receives and it then depends on how hard the test is. the average grade for a test on if you can spell your name will average as an A whereas a test in which each question was in a different language the average grade would be an f anyway I just find it more helpful to use 1-10 ratings like a ph scale, where you have a neutral number that sits inbetween, like the number 5. if the number …

when did time become a gossip rag? reads like a tmz reporter who didn't graduate at the bottom of their class

it can also be translate into "when my bf/some guy I met/seeing does it/someone I'm not scared of, it's cute. when someone I don't know does it I'm like wtf" which is fair, and does happen

harrasment of all kinds does happen more than you realise, however it doesn't happen to every woman as much as the others, and if you live in a certain area ie a suburb, you're less likely to come across things, or at least wide out in the open but it does happen

this is some bullshit, obviously there are times when you need to lie but none of them are times where you need to do so in order to impress people, male or female. if anything, just be vague, because really most of the time you shouldn't have to be explaining yourself all the time anyway. nothing to do so what? nothing wrong with being a little imperfect anyway, being too perfect actually can scare people off. not having anything to do doesn't mean you have to talk to someone until you go to sl…

you can fuck as many prostitutes as you want, it may kick the want for intimacy to the curb (most likely temporarily though) but it wont fill the void of having actually earnt a sexual partner. you'll have to be patient and just keep on trying I'm afraid, also it's easier to get big headed about yourself rather than see where you're wrong and change by the sounds of it you're also talking to women who aren't in your preffered environment ergo, you'd probably speak to the guys around you in those…

use it to gauge interest but don't get hooked on it as an indicator because some people will be interested but show it in other ways, or not that much at all.

I think the best thing to do would be to move on regardless and let people come around on their own like the pua society, works for them

it's a phyrric victory; despite winning a suit (should the mrm win) we'll be known for being connected to the shooting more so than ever. it's kind of like being acquitted of rape, to put it in a way everyone here will get

the cost could be a striesand effect. mrm gets so much slander as it is, last thing they need is to be known globally is for why a killing isn't their fault

just butt in to the conversation (subtely of course), then establish your chances. in general, trying to overlord someone blatantly will make you look desperate as well as bad. if you go in subtely and talk to both parties you can lead the conversation, establish the relationship (how dumb would you look if you're trying to alpha it over this guy who turns out to be a girl's gay best friend?) then see if you can make the move. if the guy has just met the girl, you have to evaluate how into this …

it's better to keep in mind what you did right. also realise if the mistake was a mistake due to the type of girl you were talking too, or a straight up mistake. if the former, pay more attention to who you're talking to. if the latter, avoid doing it. not saying it's easy though, I fuck up a lot :)

isn't being focused on your self being introspective? I think you may be wrong on this. although I do like my solitude I get a lot of energy by being around busy atmosphere's and bouncing around people but I am very focused on myself, thus introspective at the same time

good post (thank god for the eddit in the comments though, OP please ammend) are you commited to the girl who's gone away? I'd recommend meditation, can calm you down a lot. try reading 'the power of now' by eckhart tolle too if you want

keep on practicing. you can learn the theory to pretty much anything, being able to use it info well practically takes practice *don't expect change overnight either

don't be sad that you failed, be happy that you tried. I'll have times when I'm not at my most confident and will fail exactly like that but being happy that you tried does help pick me up a bit and gets me on the right road. *not trying makes me feel like shit a lot more tbh

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
