Sorry but I think that's an over-simplification if not outright false. Men are strong in every but one aspect: gender relations. On that subject, women rule. Even in Saudi Arabia, I have a sneaking suspicion that female demands for safety led to quite a few of those "patriarchal traditions." At least girls as young as four weren't forced to engage in camel races, frequently dying as a result.
