Honestly I think GRRM wrote the LV version of the Middle Earth stories, and it really sucks. Nah, Turin SUCKS. The curse from Morgoth didn’t help matters but so much of that damage would have been mitigated, almost all of it in fact, had Turin been a little more humble and self aware and willing to accept help. The curse makes his struggle understandable and was definitely the reason why he married who he married, but most of his decisions were all on him so I would say he’s LV without Morgoth’s help
