3	She got off with one year Exactly. Even though it’s vacated, it will still heavily impact their futures. Unfortunately (maybe there’s a better word) it’s the right of the potential employer to read that however they please. They might think the kid is hanging out with that wrong crowd because he was around a bad situation and it got him arrested.
