You should need BOTH parents permission to perform an abortion, not just one No. This gives the man power in what should be the woman's unilateral ability to control her own body. Making a sweeping generalization about every individual in a group, in this case, "Women have no empathy for men," is generally bound to be an error. Plenty do. Lots, in fact. I'm very lucky to be partnered with one, after a string of prior experiences of being shown very little empathy. Probably more do than don’t. In this particular case and many others like it, the variance within each gender is much wider …

Men shouldn’t get ANY say in whether a woman chooses to abort. Nobody but the pregnant woman should. Men should be allowed to opt out with enough time for the pregnant woman to safely and legally decide to abort if she chooses that as a result of the man’s declaration.
