I would randomly move the date closer just to fuck with them. In Japan, the system allows for all of the appeals and stuff that the US system does. But once they have finally finished with the appeals, it is entirely up to the Minister of Justice. But once said minister has signed the order, they are executed within 5 business days. I disagree. There are plenty of cases of people surviving for long periods of time on CPR. It all comes down to the quality of the CPR. The real problem is people thinking CPR is easy to give. It's not. It requires a LOT of energy and a LOT of force (almost violent). The crap you see on TV and in the movies doesn't work. You are more likely to break a few ribs doing it properly than not.

I know how to give CPR, but I wouldn't do it for a stranger (male or female). In Australia, there are laws about giving CPR. Some are really smart. Giving CPR properly has a real risk of breaking the person's ribs. If I choose to be in a place where people socialise, and I AM socialising with my friend (as was the case here), and this happened to me, I would have been very blunt and to the point (a lot of people think this is rude, tough shit to them). I am under zero obligation to be nice to random people I don't know. I will always be courteous to people at the bar, at the door, stuff like that. But that's as far as it goes.
