I think they do in some minimum and medium security prisons, but I don't think they do in maximum security which is probably where she is heading.

I don't have a problem with the underlying message of the ad, I'd wager most of the people complaining about the ad here don't. But God the way they tried to get that message across was terrible. And if we're really being honest in the conversation women have just as much blame to take as men in how we've let bad cultural problems fester in how boys and girls are raised.

The message isn't the problem but the delivery was ass. This ad definitely could've got the same message across in a way that didn't rub people the wrong way, but it didn't. You flip the roles and make it about women but keep the style the same and it'd piss off a bunch of women too.

I keep seeing stuff like this and I highly doubt that he was the other person being a man that caused him to defend him. I've been in similar situations, but I'm a man, and the excuses I've been given were its the "culture" or other similar crap that is much more likely. Bad bosses are bad bosses, if they think keeping a guy on will be a smaller headache than acting on a complaint they'll feed you whatever BS excuse they can think of.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Even if they intended this ad to be a message that we don't need to be hyper masculine to be men that isn't how it came across.
