| 4 | Dealing with the shame…I was exactly where you are 6 months ago. We decided to divorce this time last year and it was a struggle for me to tell anyone outside of my family. I ended up telling a close friend and had prepared myself for a barrage of questions about why we were getting divorced, but when I told him his response was only to ask how I was doing and if I needed anything.
